Stretching his toes out, Mauja made sure his legs were bent, ready for impact. When he was first starting out, he had tried to land with straightened legs, and it didn't end so pleasantly. He had holed himself up for about a week before he was able to fully function again.
He turned his head, focusing on the tree, and quickly grasped on to it as he hit it. It bent down, shaking all the leaves as his whole body rammed into it. A little wobbly, he quickly scurried to the side, down in the branches, to make room for his friend when she hit.
Ah, sky diving. What a way to end the day.
