It was a long while before Amoret spoke again, finally glancing back to see if the cub was alright. She had heard his footsteps, so she knew he had followed all this way. "Are you doing alright?" The lioness tilted her head, and glanced at the jungle they were now in front of, sitting on one of the vines and looking rather down to earth. Her toes almost matched the greenery of the leafy foliage that started out to the entrance of the jungle.
"There should be water in here; I haven't ventured here before, but I've been meaning to, since I was a cub." There was that famous grin of hers, kind and motherly.
Or was it sisterly?
K'tinka let out an annoyed 'pffhhhht' sound, and landed on his stomach, all four of his legs sprawled out.

Kijibwa, having managed to keep up with the lioness, braces himself and pants when they finally pause infront of the jungle. At the moment, he takes no notice of where exactly they are and glances from Amoret to K'tinka and would mimic the serval if he hadn't been so thirsty from lack of water and the long run.
The cub looks back to Amoret and smiles, he likes how her colors coordinate with the greeny of the jungle. He leans to the side a bit to try to see around the lioness, now curious about the place she'd never been.
Stretching his neck he is reminded of the need for water, and he looks back to Amoret, "Water?"

Amoret nodded. "A bit of water would do us all some good." And forth she went, leading the way into the jungle.
K'tinka gave a glance at the cub, then followed suit.

Kijibwa gives a pleased smile and follows after the lioness, his grey tipped tail swaying behind him. Finding the whole of the jungle quite distracting, from the sights to the sounds, the cub has a harder time keeping all of his attention focused on following Amoret..

And a bite was felt on his tail, held by K'tinka's mouth. "Kee' yur eys on teh miffress, or yull geet noh wawah."
Amoret turned as she was just a small ways ahead, her paw splashing in a rather large pond, surrounded by weeds and other such plants. "Water. If K'tinka stays here with you, I can go hunt for food."
(You should bring in DANZI!!! >3 They could meet each other hunting~~)

Kijibwa starts slightly when K'tinka bites onto his tail, but it works. He gets his attention refocused on Amoret- just in time to see her turn. Skidding only a little bit, he follows after her- not quite so lucky about stopping by the pond, skidding into the water and splashing onto his stomach.
"Water!" He exclaims, happy to see the pond. He lowers his snout and laps up some water thirstily.

Shaking his head, K'tinka followed after, sensing where his mistress was.
Amoret lowered her own head and lapped up water for a moment, just enough to satisfy her thirst before she stood up again, her feet emerged in the water. With just a small smile, she glanced to K'tinka, as if her eyes said everything.

After taking a long drink the cub gets back to his feet and splashes back out of the water. Once back on the ground, he shakes the water from his coat and looks happily toward Amoret.
"Water," he repeats brightly.

"And now we have to worry about food," K'tinka grumbled, after getting his own fill of water and flopping down on his stomach.
"I shall go hunt for some," Amoret murmured, stretching before she slinked off, intent on finding something for all of them to eat.

Kiji beams, and looks at K'Tinka and then to Amoret. His ears flatten and he sits down on the dirt when he realizes that Amoret is going to leave to find food. Understanding the concept of hunting, despite lack of experience, he doesn't worry too much.
He glances at K'Tinka, gets to his feet and smiles micheviously. Looking to find Amoret had left, he turns back to the Serval and shifts his weight- doing a clumsy spring forward at him playfully.
It was good to have had something to eat and drink.

K'tinka flattened his ears and hunched down, obviously not in the mood for play. He couldn't believe that Amoret had left him! Of all the tasks she had set him to, this was, by far, the worst one he could have been stuck with.
"Quit that. Go drink more water, or bathe, or something. You stink." K'tinka stuck his pink tongue out, letting it loll out a few more seconds than he should have.

The mischevious look lingers as the cub narrows his eyes and swats at the end of K'tinka's tongue after he sticks it out at him. Who needed to bathe! Certainly not Kijibwa. Besides, playing was so much more fun.
"'Tinka not like to play?" He asks brightly, lowering his paw.

"Only if you take a bath," K'tinka replied, going over to wash off his tongue. "Then maybe, we can play a game until mistress gets back." Inwardly, he groaned, hoping she'd hurry back soon. He didn't have experience with little ones!!

Kijibwa pouts, growling gently at the requirement. You need to bathe to play games? That changes everything! He stops pouting and gets to his feet- well, he could try to have fun while he was at it. Not to mention water would be quicker than using your mouth.
He wriggles as he shifts his weight to his back paws, bouncing his way into the water once more- not worrying about if he splashes the poor Serval on his way. Water isn't so bad.
The cub continues to splash, getting soaked in the process. He takes a seat in the water and starts to lick on of his paws.

K'tinka sat there.
Looking like a drowned rat.
He was NOT happy.
"... Kijibwa....." He growled, standing up and starting to walk towards the lion, not bothering to shake himself off, nor admit that the cub was a small bit larger than he was.
But, he WAS determined to teach this cub a lesson.
