The cityguard's punch DISMEMBERS an alley cat!
An alley cat is DEAD!!

ClaudiaJade Okay...someone explain to me how MUD clients work...PLEASE! gonk Okay, I'll tell you what I can think of at the moment. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. First, you download the client. Find where you've downloaded it to, unzip it if necessary, then use the .exe file. If you're using Portal (this is the one I'm familiar with) the easiest thing to to is use Quick Connect every time. It will ask for the Host, Port and Trigger. The host is arkheimwinter.com, the Port is 6666, and the trigger really isn't important. 'elcome' is the default. Click 'ok' and you're in! You're free to make a new character or play an old one. Clicking 'Play Now' on the homepage will always bring up Telnet. Don't use it. It sucks. It doesn't even scroll! Always use a seperate client. wink ...That is all.

And for me it took an hour to download the program the first time I thought I downloaded the right one . . . but I was wrong so I downloaded a different one. . . another hour later it finished downloading and didn't work >.> then I downloaded another one another hour later finished downloading and didn't work . . . then I downloaded the final one and it was in the right program. . whee
