Attention turned away from Huan Yi, Julien's parenting instincts, such as they were, had kicked in the moment Tsuji had darted off into the crowd. He kept his face pleasant, but there was a faintly worried cast to his silvery-blue eyes as he scanned the crowds, searching out every crack for a glimpse of the younger girl. "She's very fast, isn't she?" he asked genially, then paused as he heard the man's directions to Tsuji.
"Sounds like a demonstration," he suggested, nodding toward the crowd. His tall form was able to see over most of those surrounding the cordoned-off stage, and it was because of that very height that his eyes picked up on the sight of Tsuji preparing to dance. Relief settling into place as he recognized her, his lips quirked into a half-smile. Oh yes... she was definitely an Ashe...

"I.. I suppose so." Huan Yi felt a little shocked herself when Tsuji had darted down the hallway, and by Julien's comment it seemed that he had felt some sort of similar reaction. But now that they had found her again, standing proud as a peacock in front of everyone, she felt a little relieved. As well as a little embarrassed at her charge's brazenness.
Oh Tsuji, what you do for a crowd!
The Ashe child, on the other hand, kept her smile wide and bright as the dancers stood to either side of her.
"What's your name, dear?" the ballerina asked as she placed her hands on her shoulders. Tsuji felt a strange squirming inside as the audience watched her carefully, with these two instructors lavishing attention on her, and with Huan Yi and Julien watching as well. It was.. a weird sensation. She felt a little nervous.. but she liked it, too. Such a strange mix of feelings, she thought, but she decided to ride the enthusiasm while it was high.
"Tsuji!" She said it happily, proudly, and the two instructors laughed softly at her enthusiasm.
"Alright then, Tsuji." The man smiled kindly at her, placing one hand on her shoulder and turning to address the audience. "Tsuji here will help us demonstrate how to do a fundamental stretch, to show that anyone can do it. Any one of you can dance, if you set your mind to it." The words encouraged the child, and the squirming inside intensified. "Now hold on to Linette's hand, and stand on one foot, raising the other to the side." Tsuji nodded, taking the ballerina's extended hand and raising her leg up. The woman gently looped her hand in the crux behind her knee and straightened the leg and raised it so that it had matched the demonstration earlier, and she slipped her fingers away and let the child hold her own - her leg made a perfect angle with the ground.
"Very simple, you see?" the man said, and a few of the children and adults clapped politely. "Thank you, Tsuji. Well done." Her leg came back down and she felt her face flush in excitement, and she happily smiled and skipped back into the crowd, making her way towards the back where Huan Yi and Julien watched. She had done it, and done it well - and she felt so very proud of herself! She hoped they were just as proud of her. "Who wants to try next?"
"Did you see that? Did you see?" When she reached them, she couldn't contain her joy at having aided the demonstration.. and so well! "I did it!"
