Nino smiled and nodded at Sue, then ordered a salad with chicken and tomatos on it. She'd never eaten this well back on Elibe. Especially when she and Jaffar were on the run...
She didn't need to think about that. Instead, she tried to keep her mind focused on the happy times she was having here. "Meeting new people is always good!" She said.

"And there's never a better place to learn about each other than the lunch table." Sue nodded. "People begin to talk while they're eating out... it's social. That's what I've noticed."

"I agree. I really do. So... Um.." Nino didn't really have much to say. She thought for a moment, but all she could think to say, ironically, was "So how are you, Sue?"

A small, delicate flower, fluttering in the breeze...... A petal, claimed by a gentle wind, floats away... ☼ JYOTI ☼ ¤▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬¤Jyoti had remined quiet the whole way over (she somehow resisted the wonderful opportunity to laugh at Teifi), occasionally glancing back with worry. In all the excitement of arriving back in Eyris, she had forgotten about Misura! Shame on her! So, the valkyrie kept an eye open for her, preparing to shout and wave if she saw Misura.
They arrived at the restraunt and Jyoti didn't see Misura at all. A small frown came to her face. Did she just miss the sword general? Or was she simply not there? Either way, she followed the others in and made her way over to the table with ten seats, sitting down in one of the chairs. She rested her tome on one of the chairs next to her, reserving it for Misura in case she arrived. She then turned to Amelia and tilted her head slightly to one side. "Why don't you sit down, Miss Amelia? Here, you can sit next to me if you'd like!" Jyoti smiled softly, patting the empty seat next to her with the tips of her fingers.¤▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬¤... Amelia turned her attention from Sue and Nino, who seemed to at least be somewhat comfortable talking to each other, and over to Jyoti. The little valkyrie was gesturing for her to sit. Who was she to say no and be impolite? "Ah, sure," Amelia agreed with a smile. She rested her spear against the back of the chair, paused, then placed it under her seat, making sure the head couldn't hit anyone before sitting, smoothing the fabric of her skirt under her legs so it wouldn't look unladylike next to these people. "And it's just Amelia. You don't need the miss."

"Ah, I'm just fine..." Sue replied to her Captain joyfully. "I've been training hard... and I see... you have too, Amelia. You look stronger somehow. Like... more muscular. As for me... I've gotten faster, much faster." Now it sounded like she was bragging... but she was Sacaen. No lies, right?
I hope General Roy took care of Ninian. I'm worried about her too. Having such a headache..

A small, delicate flower, fluttering in the breeze...... A petal, claimed by a gentle wind, floats away... ☼ JYOTI ☼ ¤▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬¤"Just Amelia? Alright." Jyoti nodded quickly, the smile not fading from her face. "So, Amelia... tell me a bit about yourself! You use the lance, I assume?" She pointed to the spear she rested ever-so-carefully under her seat. Her gaze then focused on Amelia. "How long have you been doing so? Did you use anything else before that? I bet you're pretty strong... But what else do you like to do? Activities, arts, anything like that? How about--" The valkyrie was beginning to ramble when she slapped her hand over her mouth, stopping herself from continuing the questioning.
"... Sorry about that, Amelia." She laughed sheepishly, looking away. "I, er, tend to ramble a bit when I meet new people... forgive me."¤▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬¤... Detached from its home, destined to wither and die alone in an unknown land.

"Do be careful, my dear--I haven't got any thread on me, I'm afraid, so if one of your limbs happens to come apart, we must simply carry it, and that would be rather unpleasant for us all, now, wouldn't it?"
Domanova cautiously stepped into the restaurant, leading his rather decomposed companion Charles behind him, to the abject horror of the owner. He smiled sweetly in his direction and walked inside.
"I wonder if--ah!" Domanova caught sight of his companions, seated at a long table with some young newcomers, and waved happily. "How is everyone?" he said, approaching the group. "Would you believe that Charles is here, too?"

Amelia nodded once. Jyoti really did seem like a cheerful kid so far. That smile hadn't really faded yet, and she--
"So, Amelia... tell me a bit about yourself! You use the lance, I assume? How long have you been doing so? Did you use anything else before that? I bet you're pretty strong... But what else do you like to do? Activities, arts, anything like that? How about--"
"Wait, what?" Amelia questioned, trying to keep up. Jyoti apologized while Amelia spread her napkin into her lap, trying to keep up with proper manners required when dining with company. "Okay, uhm... in order. Yes, I use a lance. I've been doing it for a long time, actually." Amelia thought of her village in Magvel and shook off the thought, going back to the conversation. "It's the only weapon I've really trained in, though I've been recently trying to learn how to use a bow. All I can handle properly is an Iron Bow right now, though. And... I guess I am strong. I'm at least General-rank." Amelia rubbed the back of her neck.
"Uhm... I like cooking, actually," Amelia admitted, looking at her knees. "I don't get many chances, though. Tibarn tends to do most of it around Fefga's manor."
Amelia glanced up at the new arrival and looked to the zombie next to him. Her eyes widened a little, but she shook it off. She'd seen worse things... Amelia looked back to Jyoti and laughed sheepishly.

Nino looked up at the newcomer to the restaurant. Her eyes widened and her mouth dropped. "Sue..." She whispered. "What is that?"

" Maybe that's the reason why" "You can't ever fly..." Cαsτειιo "Take away the blue..." ______________ Castello blinked, raising a brow at the Entombed that walked in with Domanova. "Well, it's good to see you, Dommy, but are you sure this is really--"
Wait. That hair. The way he carried himself. The way he talked.
"Oh my god, it's Charles! I thought you died in all that mess with the-- well, I suppose you clearly did, but you look great for being dead for five hundred years!" The raven had stood up and crossed the room to greet them, still holding his wine. The owner of the restaurant, of course, was already on his way over at the sight of a revenant in his store, but Castello casually held up Annis' full wallet without even looking away from the pair in front of him.
A timeless rule. Money says more than any words ever will.

Nino watched Castello cross the room toward the Entombed. She was, of course, speechless. Did they know this zombie? And apparently they still recognize him and don't seem to mind that he is... an Entombed. Nino shook her head again.

A small, delicate flower, fluttering in the breeze...... A petal, claimed by a gentle wind, floats away... ☼ JYOTI ☼ ¤▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬¤Jyoti blinked. A general?! Amelia didn't look like a general at all! She kept her shock back as Amelia continued to talk about herself. A general who can use lances, a bit of bows, and likes to cook? Impressive!
Jyoti looked up when Amelia did, twisting around in her chair to see what caused her eyes to widen in the first place. She gave Domanova and Charles a slight nod in greeting and then turned back to Amelia. Her head tilted slightly in confusion. "... I thought you'd be more startled by Charles' appearance." The valkyrie stated, gesturing at the Entombed. "And... uhm... what's your favorite thing to cook?"¤▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬¤... Detached from its home, destined to wither and die alone in an unknown land.

Amelia shrugged sheepishly. "Uh, I'm from Magvel, see. I kind of had to fight a lot of zombie-like monsters to stop the Demon King... but if he's apparently a friend, I don't think I should worry about him. Right?" Amelia ran a hand through her hair and looked away for a moment, fiddling with her silverware as Castello gestured with something. She wasn't paying much attention to the raven.
She looked back to Jyoti. "I'm not sure. Usually stew... you can throw anything in and with enough work, it ends up good." Amelia smiled sheepishly. She definitely wasn't the most refined cook. "I like making pot pie, too."
[[Amelia: I-I'm not THAT impressive! D:"]]
