our BAND mascot is a squirrel that inspired him. I think his name is pedro or something like that, maybe Andre so now we have a stuffed squirrel hanging on our wall

My teacher is such a goof. He is so lame and always, I MEAN ALWAYS SAYS, 'be where you're supposed to be when your supposed to be there' AND he once accidentally threw a baton at the bass section. He's balding and wished he could sing like the Little Mermaid. Yup he's a freak... sweatdrop

Aww, man... I love our band directors! They're crazy in a really good way. Like, they always joke around with us, and you SERIOUSLY feel like you're one of their kids!
I mean, there are about 250 of us and they love -almost- all of us. They're like our parents, I swear. B is the short, motherly one. Todd is the taller, not-so-thin, father one~ And when we get awesome student teachers... It's like adopting an uncle or something XD
I love band. So crazy and fun... But they really are my family! heart

Crazy is an understatement for my BD. At the winter dance, she actually dance with us xD Also, she has this office, seperated by a door and a glass window, that she always works in. the band nerds always stick their face agaisnt the window when she's working on the computer in the morning and she'll never notice XD

My band director likes weird reed instruments like us, Bassoons and Oboe players.
Even though he likes us... We are neglected by him most of the time.
Anyways.
Here's a couple of crazy.
1. He threw a conducting stick-thingy at the Trumpets. (LMAO!!!)
2. He scared the crap out of us, Bassoon players by telling us that our crappy 160-180 bassoons are worth $8000. (After when he told us that, I asked the chorus assistant director how much this was, and he told me that it was $3000.)
3. Our band has an imaginary kazoo section.
He uses the kazoo section to describe how sucky our section is.
That's the gist of it.

Even my director calls himself crazy.
He forgets things half the time. I swear, if we didn't have our chief band parent who organized everything, we would never get ANYTHING done.
If he puts anything down, it automatically gets lost.
And he makes the weirdest analogies. I'm not even going to go into the blender-truck stealing = pirating music one. @_@
It's...ridiculous.
He once called me 'Becky'. Which is nowhere near my name. At all. And I do not play the instrument that Becky does. o_0
And to top it all off: He's getting worse too.

some of my teachers suck like heck..........
my band teachers ok, but wen shes mad, u have to stay away from her.
and she gets too competitive when it comes to battling with other "band teachers" from other schools O____O

Crazy is incomprehendible for my BD.
The precussionist was having a hard time with one part and he got all mad and everything. While we were playing he try his baton down and ran over the the precussionist and litterally put a hole in the drum he was beating it so hard. (when he was running he lloked like a bug gorilla xD) Everyone just kinda stopped playing when he did that. He kinda scared the s**t out of all of us.
Also once the trumpets and clarinets had the same part and he kept on yelling at the clarinets for the trumpets mistakes. Even after both the trumpets and clarinets got it right he was still yelling at them. I kinda felt sorry for them.
You never want to be around that man when he is mad or frustated. Though you can never really tell if he is mad or whatever. He looks mad all the time. He always has a "poker face" on.
Once he scared the crap out of me. He pulled me in his office (soundproof). And started yelling at me for nothing. I mean I had just got in the class. Then he asked me something and I told him yes. (I had no clue what he asked I wasn't paying attention) He wouldn't take an answer untill I looked at him in the eye. (very,very scary,I never wanted to do that again) And that was all. He went out and looked at me like I was stupid. =/ ( I wonder what he asked me)
He's also cool though. He gives us popsickles and icecream. >w< And during concerts he cracks jokes with us like right before we play and it takes a while to stop laughing to play. the audience just kinda looks at us. xD

My band teacher has so much hair, he looks like a flippin' hippie.
Whenever he tries to play his instrument, his hair gets in the way and we tell him to shave it, but he'll just scream and start crying, saying how everyone hates him.

I've had a couple of crazy band directors.
Mr. Hendry was funn, strange, and crazy for sure.
Miss Turgeon is crazy-scary during marching band, but crazy-fun for concert band.
