I dunno...I had mentioned him because I saw Ishtar's name. One of my friends who used to be Pagan was close to her and in her story, she has these clothes that protect her from harm and she's just a priestess. She desended to the underworld and had to take off her clothes at each entrance, so she was eventually naked. Death started beating her and she was almost dead and this glowing sword came down and into her hands so that she could triumph. Then, she ascended to the upper plane. Every time he told me her story, he said that she was pretty much a female Jesus.

ARe you sure that is correct. Because Loki is the norse god of mischeif.. My friends can't is named loki and he is a mischeif maker.

yes i am sure loki is the greek go of mischief but loki is the angel of death in another religion that i cant really remember right now sweatdrop

Catholicism . . . Loki was the Angel of Death; one of gods highest of battle angels. ^_~ Your all right though, just depends on the culture.

Um, because it's debatabe upon Jesus' authenticity. Depending on how you were raised. Jesus was just a man who suffered an ill fate ((a lot of people were crucified as horribly as he was back then. But his story happen to be blown out of proportion.)) Don't want to offend anyone, but I don't think he counts as god/demigod or the like wise. Jesus was just a magician, one who got caught and tried to have a good alibi and a back story (( oh dear, I know I'm going to hear about this. lol It's not ment to offend anyone; just what I believe basted on historical reference))

wait a min. i thought Loki was the trickster God of the Norse peoples

he is he isnt a god he is a demi-god the greek "trickster" he is second in line for the throne before him his fatherbeing god of thunder

er... No... He said it in a Saxon context which means:

Loki is the Germanic/Tuetonic GOD (he was a Fire Jotun made to be a full fledged god/blood brother by Odhinn. His children., both the two by Sigyn and three by Angurboda, are demi-gods)
And he is not evil or demonic, so I see no reason for him to be on this list.

NOR do I see why Hela, Loki's daughter, is on this list.

Also, Loki does not free Fenrir. He and Fenrir are both bound till Ragnorak. The endless winter (first sign of Ragnorak)brought on by Fenrir's offspring (Loki's two grandchildren) makes it easy for Fenrir and Loki to break free.

Celtic's post is the only one damn near dead on (thanks for looking it up)

Thor is Odhinn's son, not brother. Thor is not related to Loki.

In my book about Reiki. It claims that Jesus was a shaman( A healer Obviously). They had proof that a man fitting jesus's description was in India with a woman described as Mary madinline.
He has scars on his hands, feet, and his stomach had a huge a** gash. I believe that jesus was a teacher. But he wasn't God like everyone else has said. If they prove that is right. Way to go! But that shouldn't stop others from believing what they always have believed. If they want to believe Jesus was god. Go right ahead.
