Faolan reached over and pulled Rhian to him, holding the young Essentic in a loose hug. "Tryst, have you met the newest edition to the family? She's a treasure. Absolutely." His eyes got comically big and he spoke in a serious, dead-pan tone. "She never shuts up really." He passed Rhian over to Ellandra, and gave Trystan a sly look and a wink. "Ain't nothin' wrong with Elle's height, neither. Makes it more fun in the bedroom."
Pulling back a bit, Ziazan smiled at Crux. "Why did you and Trystan come to visit?" It sobered a bit, raising one eyebrow. "There's not trouble with the families, is there?"

Ellandra hugged her flutterby to her with one arm, and smacked Faolan lightly with the other. "You are not going into details about that, hmmm? Certainly not while I'm right here," she said, making a face at her husband. Rhian wriggled out of the hug she was held in and repositioned herself so that she was perching on her owner-mother's arm.
"Thank you for the fluffy treat before," she said, flicking her antennae at Trystan. "And I can be quiet, Ellandra-husband! It's just more fun to talk, that's all!"

Blinking at the girls change of heart, Trystan grinned a bit and ruffled her hair in some sort of semi sibling type motion and then waved his index finger at her. "Either way, I'm taller then you." He shrugged, smiling passively at her. "My apologies, miss." He said in sultry manner, his bartender mannerisms coming into play for a simple moment there. About to say something else, Trystan jumped a bit at Rhian suddenly appearing in his face, and despite his calming demeanor, he couldn't help but twitch a bit at being lectured. "You -" He started, entirely set on correcting the giant butterfly. However, soon enough, there went Faolan, yanking the Essentic to him and introducing what looked to be the morphed form of a giant bug.
"Not all treasure is silver and gold." Trystan quoted, putting a hand on his hip at the mention of the new Essentic. "Though this one looks like quite a mouthful." He said in a dry tone, but the sultry smile on his lips gave away that he wasn't offset by the new addition to the Grady family. Then his eyes glittered in the slightest and he almost let out a sigh. However, he bit it back, not wanting to ruin Faolans night. "I never said there was anything wrong. Just that she's... petite." Trystan bit back a small laugh. "I dont even want to know what you two get up to in the bedroom." He said, giving both Ellandra and Faolan a suspicious glance. "Especially if it isn't as innocent as playing card games." Looking back as the butterfly started to talk, Trystan cocked a brow and shrugged his shoulders, blinking in a bit of astonishment at the antennae flicking. "No problem." He said a bit loosely, waving a hand at the butterfly. He purposely left out that it was an effective way of making her stop ranting to him.
Crux glanced at Ziazan, a hum leaving his throat for a moment. "No reason." He said with a nod. "We were driving by... decided to stop." At the mention of families, Crux shook his head. "No news nor trouble really. Trystan has been contacting his father for, but he wont let me know for what." He paused, humming a bit. "There is also a friend of Trystans living in the same building now... Trystan has considered asking him for help, but other then that, there is nothing new." Crux tilted his head at Zia. "Though, what about you? How have things been at Farstep?"

"Oi, lass, I know enough not to be tellin' about our bedroom lives to others," Faolan chuckled when smacked by his wife, feigning being hurt. He grinned at Trystan. "I wouldn't tell you, even if you asked. Well. Maybe if I was really hammered, but otherwise, no."
Zia grinned. "Things have been interesting, as usual. Life here is often . . . amusing." It sobered a bit and sighed. "I hope Trystan can help Da out with this. I worry about him."

"Do you really?" Ellandra asked, quirking an eyebrow at her much-taller husband and shaking her head in an amused manner. She stroked one of Rhian's wings gently and watched Faolan's interactions with Trystan. She wasn't really sure how to take the man just yet - he had literally kicked in the door of their home and just walked in, after all - but he didn't seem so bad, really; at least he wasn't doing or saying anything cruel. She wasn't exactly frightened of him now, per se, but she just. . . . didn't really know what to say to him, either. Hm... how awkward. An embarrassed blush crept onto her face at her inability to think of something to say.
Fortunately, Rhian was always eager to fill in conversation gaps. "You have pretty eyes," the butterfly said, her antennae flicking at Trystan. "And since you brought me fluffy treat, I like you! Do you get t ogo out and do lots of things? I don't get to go outside much, Ellandra says it's because it's hard to hide me, so I like hearing about when other people go outside - what do you do when you're out if you go outside a lot? When did sibling-Zi and new-Essentic start going kiss-kiss? Was it a long time ago? I think it's nice but I don't have anyone to go kiss-kiss with." rhian paused for a moment, then fluttered her wings excitedly. Maybe when I grow I'll get to go out more and find someone to kiss-kiss! That would be wonderful!"
Ellandra traid vainly to hush the flutterby, her embarrassment rising with everything spilling out of her excitable proto's mouth, until she gave up and just buried her flaming-red face against Faolan's shoulder.

Faolan's eyes went a bit wide at Rhian's words and he gave an apologetic look to Trystan. "Ehehe, ignore her. Elle dropped her on her head a few times when she was still a spark." He looked down at Ellandra. "Of course I know, wife. You'd kill me in my sleep otherwise." He gave her an affectionate kiss to the top of her head.

Trystan cocked a brow at Faolan briefly, about to say something incredibly stupid to him about the disinterest he had in hearing about bedroom expeditions. And that he was now rather scared of being in the same room while the other was completely hammered. But then a butterfly literally flew into his face. Jumping, Trystan instantly put his hands up as if they would protect him from the questions. He waved them in front of his chest a bit, as if that would somehow manage to ward off the comments and questions. Coloring at the mention of "kiss kiss", the young adult faltered and diverted his eyes for a second before turning back to the young proto.
"Do I now?" He commented dryly, his eyes flashing even though the sclera was white that day. "I'd beg to differ. And I believe its a good thing that you like me..." He paused, drawing out the end of the sentence as he mused over his plausible options. Run for the door, stay his ground, or drop dead. "Yes, I go outside a lot. Yes, I do a lot of things. I interact with people a lot." Lie. "And when I'm not doing that, I'm bartending. Do you know what alcohol is? Mixed drink? Straight up?" Truth. "The new essentic is Crux. Like crooks. They - Ziazan taught him that. I do not approve. At all." Trystan huffed a bit, rolling his eyes. "Its not as nice as it seems - dont get too excited thinking about it." He paused, poking the Essentic on its head gently. "Just be careful with who you're doing that with. Or else you might stress someone out."
Leaning back, Trystan smiled, satisfied that he'd been able to answer at least some of those questions. Turning to Faolan, he cocked an eyebrow. "Faolan, you do realize that they are rocks during that period, right? I dont think they function like humans in the long run." Trystan rolled his eyes. "You can damage a baby when its in the womb - I'm not sure you can damage an Essentic when its a rock." Then he shrugged. "But dont follow my words, I'm just guessing."
"I see. It sounds... fun." Crux admitted, watching the alter with a guarded expression. A previous conversation with Mikhail still stood at the edge of his mind, holding him back from raw emotion. "I hope he can as well. Though, there have been some... interesting issues back home. We might not be able to visit as much for a little while." By this he meant the new arrivals back home, the family troubles, and certain devious things occuring.

Rhian flicked her antennae excitedly, thrilled that someone had actually answered all of her questions. "Thank you for answering, Pretty-eyes! And I think I know what that stuff is - the smelly yellow stuff that ellandra-husband and sibling-Zi drink!" the butterfly paused and tilted her her. "Why don't you approve? Sibling-Zi and Cr-...... Crux like it, it makes them happy, I feel it!" Really, how could someone disapprove of something that made her sibling (or anyone) so happy as Sibling-Zi and its kiss-kiss partner?
Ellandra sighed. "I am so - so very sorry, she seems to have absorbed Faolan's big mouth," the brunette said, teasing her husband a little - but also serious.

ooc ;; sorry for the epic!late of this. x _____x
Trystan stared at the little bug, quite possibly considering why he wasn't bolting for the door. "I dont have pretty eyes - my name is Trystan." He insisted, putting a hand on his hip and flinching at the stretch of torn skin. "Its not always smelly and yellow. Sometimes its colorless and looks like water. Thats beer - and wait, did you say Ziazan drinks?" Looking a bit astounded - well, as astounded as Trystan could get - the obsidian haired man sent a wry look of amusement over at the man before turning to the butterfly again. "Its dangerous." He digressed dryly, waving a hand, not bothering to elaborate.
Turning to Ellandra, Trystans ice blue eyes glittered with interest. "She seems to have absorbed a lot of things." He responded, motioning to where the cotton candy used to be. "Its alright - I've dealt with worse. Much worse." Something dangerous glittered in his eyes as he stretched his neck, the wound reminding him of what 'worse' meant in his world. "Much worse."

Ziazan tilted its head slightly. "But . . . I'd miss your visits." It leaned over and clung to Crux, hiding its face against the other's chest, wings drooping. "I want you here."
Faolan shrugged. "I don't let Zia do it in front of me, so it usually does it behind me." He gave the other halfbreed a wry grin. "Kids, what can you do, eh?" He noticed the wincing and flinching, narrowing his eyes a bit, and was sure he saw blood as well. "Tryst, I got a first aid kit if you wanna make use of it."

Rhian tilted her head and flicked her antennae. "How is something that makes them happy dangerous?" The butterfly wasn't meaning to pry, really, she was jsut curious and wanted very much to know what was so wrong about Sibling-Zi being happy.
Ellandra nodded softly, echoing Faolan's sentiments. "Please. . . I know you brushed it off earlier, but that looks painful. It really should be at least cleaned up a bit."

Crux thrummed a bit, patting Zia's head as much he could. "Its alright, we wont disappear." He reassured loftily. Pausing a bit, he tilted his head down, trying to cheer the other up a bit. "I'll still visit. Once I grow, I'll be able to to go out more on my own." he paused a bit. "I'll be able to visit you more." He tilted his head, examining Trystan for a moment. "There are some internal matters going on right now, that is all... once its settled, everything will return to normal."
Tryst watched Faolan for a moment, a wry grin coming onto his lips. "Same as ever, aren't you?" he commented with a shrug, wondering if Crux would sneak into his alcohol once he grew a mouth as well. "Kids." Trystan snorted. "What cant you do?" Blinking at the sudden concern, Trystan tilted his head to the side, stretching the wound a bit and bringing his fingers up to test the raw, cut skin. "Do you have anything to disinfect it?" He asked Faolan carelessly, wondering if it was already infected or not. It didn't feel like it.... Then again, Trystan was stupid when it came to fixing himself. "Or bandages. Its not that painful." He shrugged it off, bringing his fingers away from the wound and putting a hand on his hip. Despite his 'its not that painful', it would probably seem excruciating to any normal person. Well... a demon learned to live with pain. Wasn't that something?
Turning to Rhian, he tilted his head, flicking his finger lightly against her antennae in an almost playful manner. "Because love can rip people open and make them hurt really bad." He said absently, thinking back on Kaosu. However, the uncertainty that mauled him was soon forced back into the corner of his mind. "There are a billion things that can go wrong, and only a few that can go right." He tilted his head, grinning a bit at her. "Its like gambling, but with emotions, not with cards and money."
