Rika pauses to consider a moment, then nods. "If you think that is best," she says. "I can bring a thick cloth if you think it would protect you or soothe her, though."
... Since, though, this means that only Tenryuu and Kaya will be working, Rika steps back... then moves to the door to close it in case the cat makes an insensible dash for freedom. Though it is true not many drive around the Minishops district, Rika is still concerned about the Gaian phenomenon of cars...

"Please do, if you think it will help," Tenryuu agrees, shifting so that Kaya can properly hold the cat. While she has suffered far worse than cat bites before, it doesn't hurt to take precautions.
"Ready?"

"A cloth would be good," Kaya agrees, moving forward to gently place her hands on Byou, who's now making unhappy, rumbly growl-noises. In response, Kaya coos quietly to her, hoping to calm her down. After all, these people just want to help her leg feel better- it'll be okay, really it will.
"What're you going to do to her?"

It only takes a moment for Rika to retrieve a fluffy bath towel from the bathroom and return to hand it to Kaya.
"I cannot heal myself, so it is up to you, Tenryuu," she murmurs with a bit of a worried smile.

Once Kaya is in place, and the towel is brought out, Tenryuu tries to get closer. With only a moment's hesitation she gently puts a hand on Byou's shoulder, above the injured leg. While it might startle her patient, Tenryuu would feel better about this if she could feel what she was doing.
"It's just a bit of healing," she explains, starting to focus her magic. "She should be better in a few moments."
With that, she stops paying attention to the others, and makes Byou her sole concern. She can do this, surely!

Kaya continues to make soothing noises, even as Byou hisses and begins to try and squirm free. She's having a little bit of difficulty holding her, but it's nothing that she can't handle. She is, after all, used to this, but...it would be good if it is nothing more than a few moments.
"C'mon, Byou, hold still," she requests softly, not wanting to speak loudly for fear of breaking Tenryuu's focus. "It'll be over soon.."

While Tenryuu is aware of Byou's squirming, she doesn't register Kaya's voice at all. Everything else is blocked out while she utilizes her magic, applying it to the injury.
She is quiet for several long moments before she blinks, slowly drawing her hand away. "That should do it, I think."

Rika is relieved at the short time the healing requires. "A sprain, then?" she asks. Privately, she thinks to herself that it is a good thing it was not a break; then they would have been in quite a pickle...
She glances at Kaya. "What should we give her now -- water? food?"

"Both." Kaya replies, smiling a little bit in relief. She's glad that it was nothing more than a sprain- Byou really should be alright now.
Taking her hands away from where they're restraining the dragon-cat, Kaya is not entirely surprised when Byou shoots away to find somewhere to hide. She understands, though. This is a strange new place, and to be held down even for such a short period of time..she'd be scared too, if she had been in Byou's position.
Ah- maybe they should just leave the food and water out. Byou would come and get it when she was good and ready..

Rika goes to Setsushi's kitchen to look for some durable-looking bowls...
... though, uh. sweatdrop
"What would be good for her to eat? Rice? Raw meat? Cooked? I understand that seafood disagrees with some land-predators..."

Tenryuu also thinks they're lucky it wasn't broken. While she wouldn't like to admit it, she isn't confident enough in her skills to try mending a break in an animal she's almost completely unfamiliar with.
The question of food is a good one. "If she's a barn cat, probably meat," she suggests. It probably doesn't need to be cooked, for a cat, but she waits for Kaya's opinion.

Meat, yes. Specifically, Byou is a barn cat, soo..
A mouse, maybe? Byou prefers living prey for her to eat. She's a very good mouser! If there're any pests in this house, they'll be gone before long- either to become meals or presents. Once, Byou left a decapitated mouse on her pillow while she was sleeping! It was gross, but sweet too. Byou was just sharing her kill!
..Or, uh. You know. Other meat would work too.

... Any strange reactions Rika might have had to that suggestion are unknown; her face remains blank and calm.
"We have no pets, and I do not think we have mice," she says, moving to the refrigerator. "Though we have... a bit of fowl?"
Rika eyes the tupperware container of shredded chicken breast -- would something so clean and bloodless, and on top of that cold from the refrigeration, be appetizing to a semi-feral animal?
...
"Perhaps I'll boil it a little," Rika mumbles, taking the container back to the kitchen.

Tenryuu also remains calm, having expected the answer, though the bit about the present was... mildly unsettling. She's a bit relieved that Rika and Setsushi don't have any pets, just in case.
While Rika takes care of the food, Tenryuu looks at Kaya seriously. "We're taking care of Byou. Is there anything you need? Are you hungry, tired?"

Well...it's not as good as mice, but she's sure that Byou will eat it anyway if she gets hungry enough, especially if it's warm. She doesn't think that Byou's very picky, anyway.
They're taking care of Byou? They're taking care of her? Byou doesn't even know them! No, no..she'll take care of Byou. She might as well since they're both seemingly stranded in this strange place..she's fine. She doesn't need food, and Byou needs her. She appreciates Tenryuu asking, though, she has to (grudgingly) admit.
