Jesus, seriously. All I can remember is basic greetings, "How do you say ______ in Gaeilge," and "I/you/he/she/we/they/you(pl.) have a ___."

o_o Sad?

I'll update this as much as I can, every time with new words. Usually they'll have a theme like weather or family. This is Irish Gaelic (As opposed to scottish or Welsh).

(Since Gaia doesn't do accents very well, I've omited the fadas)

Basic Irish Words

My name is Bob
Is Mise Bob (Pronounced: Ish Misha Bob)

Welcome
Failte (Pronounced: Fallcha)
Rhina: borrowing this for the game XD

Hello
Dia duit (Pronounced: Deeya Gooch)

Slainte (Pronounced: Slanta)

Bye
Slan (Pronounced: Slawn)

Good
Go Maith (Pronounced: Goma)

Very Good
Go-han Maith (Pronounced: Go-han ma)

Thank You
Go Raibh Maith Agat (Pronounced: Go-rev-ma-haga)

Please
Le do thoil (Pronounced: ley-du-hull)

Excuse Me
Gab mo leithsceal (Pronounced: Go ma lash-gail)

I'm so happy you took the time to post this although I have to make a few corrections:

It's Gabh mo leithsceal with a h and dia duit is pronounced deeya guitch and the pronounciation of is mise is...is mise not pronounced with a h sound.

Yes, I've seen some variation from what I've learned as well. I'm still a VERY early beginner, but I think the differences you all are seeing here is due to dialect, not so much correct or incorrect.
Also.....OMG your sig! I luffit!

I'm doing irish in school now for the leaving cert and i don't think it's too bad.

we have to do poety, pros, do comprehentions, stories, letters etc.
I love it, but, as its mandatory and i've been studying it since i started primary school, there can be days when you feel like killing it, but i guess thats the same with any language.

I think i'll head to the gaeltacht this easter to improve my irish for the all important LC (the gaeltacht areas are areas in [mostly but not all] the west of ireland where a large percentage of the population speak irish as an everyday language. they're great if you want to improve cause there are collages there which aim to make you interact more using irish in dances [ceile], games, classes and trips around the area. they're v popular with tourists)

Scrait The Great
I think after highschool Im going to go backpacking around southern Ireland, That would be so badass.
Wicklow is the best to me (I'm in a scout troop) The hike I've been on is in Glendalough (glaciated valley) I camped over night there (which is illegal so shush)
