"Mhm," he hummed out, resisting the urge to rub his stretched stomach. He wasn't used to a lot of food, after all. He would have to re-adjust his stomach to more food after a while. "I spent a lot of time walking... I didn't really pay attention to having to eat..." He told he in way of explination.

Ylva tilted her head but nodded. Most of her life she had a silver spoon in her mouth. Being raised by humans had its up moments for sure. But she attempted to as they say, take a walk in the others shoes. Ah well, she was just happy he was fed.
"You must travel around alot?" She was trying for a conversation. Not something the hyena did normally but hey, if they were going to be neighboring each other for a short while didn't hurt to know who he was.

Xx'ami gave a small smile. His stomach hurt now. He'd have to eat more, he vowed to himself. This pain was entirely avoidable - he just didn't stop to scavange or hunt when he was walking - he didn't see a point! He did now, though...
"I do. Ever since I was little," He shook his head a bit. He didn't really have a choice when he was little - simply abandoned and left for dead.

Ylva tilted her head. His life sounded like it was full of stories if he had traveled since he was young. Though, she supposed many none travelers also had stories. Ah well.
" Sounds a bit rough." Her tone was matter of fact and flat. " Your free to stay round these parts as long as you feel fit to. .. I ' m not much of a traveler my self so if you need anything I'm usually pretty close by." She didn't want to say where her den was hidden to Xx'ami. The dens where abouts was one of her biggest secrets. Only Asa got to see it the first time they met because, well, Asa was so badly hurt he couldn't walk let alone move much.
"I'll take you to the extra den." She got up and eyed the piece of meat, "You want to take it with you, its yours." Ylva figured she could find another piece of meat. As big and as fresh as that leg, maybe not, but the stranger seemed unaccustomed to such meals. Ylva was a softy whether she'd ever admit to it or not.

"A bit," He agreed completely. He gave her a heartfelt smile. He was extremely greatful for her assistance. He probably would have died in the matter of weeks how he was going along.
"Thank you for everything," He bowed his head to her a bit, in a show of respect that he had learned.
However, with the gift of meat, he hesitated. Again, he didn't want to take her meal... "Are you sure...?" He asked with his nose to the meat. He wouldn't decline her generous offer, but he didn't feel right just... Taking it.
"You're very kind..."

"Yeah.. Im sure," The female gave the other a nod. The compliment on her kindness made her grit her teeth a little but she made mo comment about it. So she was a soft heart and hated to see others hungry and with out shelter. So what... right?
The hyena started off with out taking the leg with her. She wasn't going to carry it. The leg wasn't all that heavy but she figured if the traveler wanted it he could carry the load.
"You coming?" Ylva tilted her head and looked back. Her face unreadable.

The dark blue hyena gave the female a small nod. He clamped his jaws around the leg and started after her. His bones ached slightly from pausing in his walking so long, but it would fade with each step her took.
He hoped the den wasn't too far.

The den was just up ahead, but it wasn't visible from behind the brush it was cleverly hidden behind. Ylva liked her privacy even if she was going to be in her spare den.
She stopped for a moment and turned around giving the other a small smile.
"Its right up ahead." She pointed with her paw to a small bush at the start of a hill. Not a bad place for a den.

Xx'ami-da tilted his head a bit, the leg still in his mouth. He titled his head at the brush, and simply nodded. With that, he started towards the bush. "Thank you..." He told her again around the leg of the prey-beast, and he walked towards the hidden den.
