Riv smirked at Sev's admission that he could at most flutter. "I guess I'll be jumping out after you if you fall, then." Not that Rivener minded; he'd rather miss the ride than let the blue-haired Raevan get hurt. "Hopefully neither of us will fall out."
Riv's smile was plastered on constantly as they waited in line, amused by all the blatant stares they were getting. This place was crawling with a younger crowd, and the young humans were usually a lot more honest with their amazement. Riv liked the attention, so he didn't mind at all. The two Raevans' trip through the wait line was over in no time flat, and barring the small argument withe the attendant the two floating half-bodies were allowed onto one of the cars. Riv gripped at the bar with the same tenacity as Sevilin, grinning playfully over at the other.
"We'll see, Sev! Hold on tight, though, okay?" Tucking his wings tightly against his back to prevent them from catching on the wind, Rivener waited for the ride to start.
Once everyone was latched in properly and the attendant checked all the bars were locked in place (raising an eyebrow disapprovingly as he noticed Sevilin didn't even fit BEHIND the bar), the cars lurched and started forward up a very very high hill.
Rivener's pulse raced already and he grinned and laughed, eagerly awaiting what came after this first big Up. "Ohhh, this is gonna be fun, this is gonna be fun! This is gonna beeeEEEEE!!!" As they crested the rise, the cars began picking up speed and careened down towards the first of the twists and turns and loopdeloops, Riv's two long locks flapping behind him in the wind, the Sigel's fangs showing as he screamed and laughed gleefully.

"Dun worry, I w--whoa!" The sudden jolt left Sevilin's teeth clattering shut and he watched the roller coaster ease out of the entrance smoothly and slowly. So far so good. Nestling down into the seat, the little frei looked over to Riv and mimicked his caution, tucking his frail wings securely behind him. His little hands slid back and forth across the slick rail, trying to find the best grip.
As the roller coaster edged around the first turn picking up speed, the sea nymph's nerves started to get the better of him. It was going to be okay he told himself. He wouldn't wimp out now, not with Rivener sitting right beside him. With the cart rolling up hill notch by notch, Sevilin continued to just chant. "It'll be fine it'll be f--ahhhHHH!" His little hands tightened immediately as he felt what little of him began to lift out of the seat. It was a very strange feeling, actually it was a really exciting sensation. His startled yowl eventually changed into laughter as the wind whipped his face and sent his long hair flying up like a streamer.
Finally, the cart hit the bottom and moved into another turn and he took the time to reloop his hair. "I don't need it to snag on anything..." That would be bad. "Oh gosh, another o--wahhhh!!" It was easy to go up, but as they whirled through a loopdeeloo, Sevilin had to grit his teeth and concentrate on his hold as he slid into Rivener on the last loop. "Wooo... ahhh that was cray haha"

Rivener was laughing brightly the whole time, focusing half on the ride and half on the frei beside him, ready to jump out of his seat to catch Sev if he happened to fall out. The first steep drop had made the sea fairy lift nearly out of the seat but he'd stayed mostly put, and a handful of loops later Riv was convinced it would all be okay. He turned all his attention to the ride, enjoying the feeling of the wind zipping past and whipping his long locks around, causing the ruby eyes to tear up at the corners.
"Whooo!" Riv cheered as they looped and spun in sideways circles, climbing hills and zipping down others at break-neck speeds, his laughter echoed by everyone else on the trolley. Even when Sev slid into him, Rivener didn't stop laughing, just waiting a moment and then both Raevans sliding the other way on the next turn, Riv nearly smushing Sevilin against the side.
It lasted all of three minutes, but Rivener couldn't remember ever laughing so hard for such a long time. By the time the cars pulled back into the station, Riv's sides were aching; something he'd never felt before. Grinning from ear to ear, the Sigel floated out once the locked bars lifted, turning glinting eyes at the blue Frei. "WOW. Holy crap that was fun. Let's go again later; I wanna see if the other rides are this awesome! Let's go try that spinning thing over there!" He pointed to the huge circular thing that people were strapped in sideways.

"Ahhhh!" The little frei laughed, tensing as Riv came close to squashing him. "H'ooo my gosh! Hahaha that was... a blast! Ahhh!" Sevilin threw up his hands and squealed at Rivener, following him out the exit to their next destination. What a bloody rush! He could still feel the pull on his face and hands. He just HAD to come back here with We`rika and Riv again!
Floating beside his friend, he followed the scorpion's line of sight. "Whe--Oh! Hey, I've seen those on TV! LET'S DO IT!!" A nice guttural battle cry escaped the frei's pretty cherry-red lips as he floated determinedly toward the swirling cup of doom.
Thankfully this time, the security straps went across his chest and kept him in place. "Ooooo I'm exci~ted!" His hands rattled against the handlebars with glee!

Rivener's grin was permanently affixed as the two Raevans floated enthusiastically to the drum ride, the attendant strapping them in with the same kind of unsure expression the first one had worn. Well, whatever! Riv knew that if Sev could survive the rollercoaster, he could surely survive this! The strange squealing noise Sevilin had made on the way to this ride had made the Scorpion laugh so much that he was still giggling slightly as he was strapped in place. "You're crazy!" Riv accused playfully, watching his friend wriggle and shake against his handlebars.
Soon after, all the people were strapped in and the machine started. The spinning and tilting began after the machine lifted itself off the ground high enough, once again sending Riv's hair flapping to the side. With one hand Riv batted the long blue locks away, Sevilin's hair whipping around the Sigel's face from the wind. "Gah, Sev, your hair!" Rivener laughed and cheered as everyone else did when the tilting began to get rather extreme.

When the ride lifted off the ground, Sevilin squeed lightly, laughing back at Rivener for the comment. He'd been called many a thing, cute, sweet, innocent, girly, but crazy was a new one. He decided to take it as a compliment. "Ahh here we go!" It started gradually with a sudden jerk as it began to spin, but eventually it picked up speed and the little frei was so thankful he was actually strapped into this ride.
He was sure his hair was securely tied but when he heard Rivener's complaint, he strained his head back to see and laughed. It must have come out of its scrunchy. "Ahhh, sorry!" All he could do was yowl at the sight of his friend being strangled by blue tendrils. The sea nypmh tried to twist his head and pull the deadly hair away, but it in vain. Hopefully it wouldn't last too long so Rivener didn't die. "Hoogosh, I am so glad I don't have a stomach!" He just prayed no one started to blow junks while this baby was still in motion.
Finally, it began to slow and the cheers and echos began to fade as everyone waited to be lifted from their security straps. "Wooo! That was better than the roller coaster haha! Hooo! My hair!" He watched his thick long head of hair fall down into a crazy nest around him. "Ahh! It's.... it's a mess! Ohh maan!" Sevilin looked to Rivener for moral support. "I'm still pretty right?!" In his panic, his big blue eyes lifted to the dimming skies. "Ehh maybe we should start headin' for the exit.... We`rika can only sit and drink so much beer..."

Rivener laughed the whole time the machine spun, wondering if this is how the clothes felt in the tumble-dryer. The hair whipping him across the face wasn't particularly painful so he didn't mind it at all. The machine wound down after a while, leaving the Scorpion panting and chuckling still with the rush of it all. That had definitely been fun! And better than the roller coaster, Riv agreed quietly with Sev's statement.
As the two left, finally unstrapped and set free, Sevilin turned to Rivener to complain about the blue hair, asking if he was still pretty. The cerulean locks were all askew and wild, Sev looking like some kind of ... Well, Riv wasn't sure what, but he grinned nonetheless. "Sev, you always look like a prettyboy. Only this time you look like a wind-disheveled prettyboy. But it works, ya know?"
Without really agreeing out loud, the Sigel was floating towards the exit now. Like Sev said, Werika was bound to notice their absence (if he hadn't already) and that might spell disaster. They'd had fun though, so leaving now wouldn't be that bad. They could come back some other day, maybe.
"I hope you feel better now about whatever was bothering you, though. And if Werika ever says it's alright, we should come back he- OH MY GOD. Look!" Suddenly excited, Rivener flapped his wings and pointed at a booth, where hundreds of tattoo designs were plastered on the rickety walls, and a man was sitting at a chair painting a design on someone. "Wow! I always wanted a tattoo! Let's go get one!"

"Like... like a rockstar, right?!" Like in the 80s! Like Motley Crue! Without the.... failure and the STDs. Sweeet! With renewed vigor, Sevilin followed along with Rivener with no physical equilibrium to keep him from floating in a straight line, looking back and forth through the gaudy booths. And for once, Sevilin didn't need another plush. He had plenty and he was starting to run out of room.
"Yeah... I do, actually..." He was much more comfortable being himself, albeit a wee bit less girly. The sea fairy still needed to work on that. Maybe We`rika could teach him how to pick up girls again. "Huh?" Seeing his friend pull away, he followed shortly after. "Tattoos?" He eyed the booth warily, knowing how much We`rika hated them. The shaman had a few, but he said they were gang tattoos and because of them, he was always in danger of getting shot on the street. Sevilin didn't want to get shot. "They--Are they permanent?"

Rivener had expected Sevilin to jump at the chance to get a tattoo, so the Sigel was already half-way there before he noticed the sea fairy wasn't right behind him. The Scorpion turned and waited, frowning in mild confusion but smiling at the same time. "Permanent? No, I don't think so, look; he's using pens and stuff! And would kids be getting tattoos at the amusement park? They're rub-off. Come on, come on, nothing's manlier than a tattoo Sev! Let's both pick the same one, then we'll be badass together." Knowing this had most likely convinced the little Frei, Riv turned and continued on his way to the booth, stopping in front of the walls of designs and lifting a thoughtful finger to his quirked lips.
"Hmmm, not something too tacky or cliche. No skulls or roses with MOM written on them... Any idea what you'd like, Sev? I'm partial to just black tribals, myself, they look so cool..." Riv pointed to a few, grinning from ear to ear.

"Uhmmm..... hmmmm...." With his delicate fingers pressed gently against his pondering cherry-red lips, his blue eyes flitted back and forth through the list of tattoos the vendor offered. Most of them were pretty sissy, like unicorns and rainbows and faeries...... Ohhhh faeries!
No! Must be a man! Men don't get faerie tattoos!!
"A wha?" Not familiar with the name, the little sea nymph looked to Riv and at the strange bands of tattoos. "Oooo those are pretty cool! Where should we get it? Needs ta be somewhere everyone can see it so they know how badass we are!!" Sevilin fluttered his wings vehemently from his budding pride in his manliness.

Rivener saw Sev oogling the Faeries out of the corner of his ruby-red eyes, and the Scorpion was damned glad when his frei companion moved away from there. Matching tattoo promise or not, there was no way in hell Riv was getting a faerie tattoo. Sevilin came over and seemed to approve of the tribals, however, so that settled that. Riv busily scanned all the pretty, meaningless patterns.
"Hm, shoulders are a pretty common place for tattoos, and we're both showing enough skin there that it would be a good place. You'll just have to lift up your sheer sleeve for a bit. Is that alright? Here, help me pick one! Let's find one that would like, wrap all around."
Rivener's wings were fanning slightly, the leather rustling as he excitedly looked through the drawings for that one perfect tattoo.

"Weelll--Oh! What about this one?" Sevilin tapped softly against the laminated sheets, pointing to one tribal arm band. "It kinda looks like barbed wire! Yyyeeah! Get that one! Get that ooone!" Soon, the sea fairy's excitement escalated into a childish whine as he wiggled his hands up and down.
"How much are they?" He looked to the vendor who was not surprisingly gaping at the two of them. Sevilin had long ago gotten used to the odd stares and didn't think anything of it anymore. "5? Is that alot?" He looked to Rivener, eyes big and blue and looking to be appeased.

Rivener observed the tattoo Sevilin picked out, rather pleased that it did look pretty badass. Barb wire. Riv glanced at himself in the flattened aluminum-covered mirror nearby, imagining that barb wire pattern on his arm... Hmmm, yeeaaaah, that looked very good. Riv would wear the crap out of that tattoo.
Sevilin's whining was quickly drawing the attention of not only the now-waiting tattoo artist, but a few passersby as well. Very unmanly, but Rivener wasn't about to tell his friend that. Chuckling, Riv just placed a hand on Sev's back and guided him to the tattoo chair. "No, five isn't too much, it's fine. My treat! You go first though."
While the sea fairy was getting settled in the chair, Rivener beckoned the booth keeper over and showed him which tattoo they chose. "I'll be right here waiting for my turn!" Riv said as he stood next to Sevilin again.

Sevilin's excitement paled as Rivener guided him up to the chair. "Wh-what?" Sevilin sorely wished he had feet to stomp in the ground to stall his friend's push forward. "First?" Ugggh. This was not fair!! Pouting gracelessly, he rested his torso in the chair, gripping the armrests with all his strength.
It was going to be just fine! It was only paint right? Nothing serious. Caaalm down. He had to be a man! Men weren't afraid of anything! Pursing his lips into a flat line, he channeled his inner-We`rika and sighed, ready for the vendor. Lifting his arm as instructed, the little blue Raevan watched with squinting eyes. "Ooohhoo thas cold!" Chortling lightly, the sea fairy began to relax and waited as patiently as he could for the man to finish.
After a few adjustments and wipes later, Sevilin was painted and satisfied. "Oooo lookit! I'm... I'm so badass now!!"

Rivener nearly laughed at the face Sev was pulling just before the tattooing began. He looked like he was about to be tortured or something! Thankfully the Scorpion managed to keep his snickering to himself, and waited patiently beside his friend. Soon enough the tattoo was done, and Rivener grinned as he made room for the blue-haired frei to get up. "Yeah, look at you mister badass! Hahah, go look at it in the mirror over there, and I'll take my turn now. I'll be your tattoo-twin in no time!"
Riv turned and sat in the chair, smirking at the tattoo artist who was slowly getting used to the idea of half-bodies floating in his kiosk. Paints and wipes were lifted and the booth keeper resumed his craft, drawing the same pattern on Rivener's arm.
Five-ish minutes later, Rivener was done as well and floated over to Sev, showing his shoulder. "Look! Nice, hunh?" The Scorpion turned to the mirror and admired himself, looking rather smug. MAN he made it look good.
Clearing his throat to rid himself of the vanity for now, Riv paid the tattoo artist and began floating to the exit with Sev in tow. "So? You happy now? You're not only manly now, you're BADASS!"
