Oukou didn't know where the time went, she didn't understand how it happen. But it been six months since she arrived in this strange place called Gaia. Six months since her life was forced to change on her without permission.
Six months since she seen her home...and her brother....
Taking in a deep breath, Oukou stood on the step of her home. Her hair wasn't up like normal, but down around her face. Her eye gazing over the little community that was being created by Rika. Was this to be her new home? Her hope of actually ever returning home was fading.
Out on her front lawn, she watch her two felines chase one another. Meko, as she finally stated calling the dragon cat, had found the basket on her steps two months ago.
A small little kitten the color of smoke and ash, with bright blue eyes stared up at her. She didn't want another animal running around her house, but it seem that this Rinny girl once again decided she needed another gift.
Chayo was her name, and Oukou found that this gentle feline meant alot to her. Both of them did, and she wouldn't trade them for another.
Looking up at the sky, Oukou frowns as she see the dark clouds rolling in. It was suppose to grow cold, maybe even snow. The thought made her pull her dark purple kimono closer. She didn't take to cold weather well, as it was proven with all the candles in her home, and the closed windows.
Her tailor business was going slow, but she didn't mind that one bit. It just meant she had more time to herself. More time to hide away from some of the others, like the young man across the street.
Hitsuga.....
The very thought of the name, it made her heart quicken. Which she hated more then anything right now. She didn't understand it, but somehow, she ended up liking him. Was it his strange behavior, or simply his shy demeanor? Whatever it was, it made Oukou stay hidden inside.
Looking at the home across the street, she frowns alittle. He was married, to a rather beautiful woman she saw. Far more beautiful then she was at least. Looking down at the spots all over her skin, she shakes her head as she looks away from the home of Hitsuga.
It wouldn't have worked anyways, she was way to strong, and she needed a man who could handle her. She knew now, that in the end, she would have scared Hitsuga off.
No, she learn that even though she wanted it. She would never find someone to love. Someone who would actually see pass the act she puts on, to the real her. The one who does want to be held, and cherished.
Tapping her side, she motions for the two felines to join her. The chill in the air was getting worse, and at the moment, she wanted nothing but to lounge in her bed.
Bed and tea...the same thing I do everyday......
With a sigh, she shuts the door behind her, once she is sure her felines have joined her inside.
