Fooo, we've had rain all night so they canceled the picnic, and I'm bummed about that. I'm going to go get us showered and dressed though in case they reinstate it, as the rain seems to have stopped for now.

So, did the picnic happen? Was yesterday without the girls wonderful?

They did reschedule the picnic for the next day, but Jade and Amber didn't get to go because they were already being picked up by Jason's mom for 4 days in Albuquerque while I was in the hospital. After the picnic, I did all I could think to do with my free time, including dishes and packing and last minute cleaning, and reading outside and enjoying the peace, and then I got fidgety and impatient and didn't know what to do!
It's nice having them home again, and I missed them, although sometimes I wish I could get a moment's rest again!
