Giza watched him, grinning wildly... it only seemed to grow when he spat. "What a nasty temper you have... you should really keep control of that. Makes you look like weak when you lose your cool." She mentioned, a coy laugh following soon after. Giza knew her own berserk button very well... and it took knowing her much more personally to be able to press it. Her father would have eaten her alive for showing weakness to an enemy. And anger was always a sign of weakness, as far as she was concerned. "And I always speak for myself. Would it be any fun if I let anyone else say what I wanted?"

Thona never really lost his cool too much. At least not enough to look stupid in a fight. Anger wasn't the way of fighting unless it was with two friends of course. "Don't let yourself worry about my temper. It won't effect anything" He spat at her again. It almost amazed him on how many stupid creatures were in this world. At least he couldn't say she wasn't totally happy go lucky in the sense of good. Which wasn't nearly as bad.

Thona didn't fight angry, he knew it wasn't a good thing since you could lose more easy then anything. Thona had his own little spots of dislike that popped up here and then, but he never let it get a hold of him. Unless it was with his sons, where he could just beat them and get all his anger out. Or have a little brawl with what was as close as a best friend as any leopard like Thona could have.

Thona spoke for his pride, even if they didn't want him to. But that was their place. "Speaking for other's is what I do being king." He grinned. He loved the power of telling other's what to do as well as speaking words they'd never say. " Given that most have the intelligence of a beetle." Which for some he could say that was true, though he had some hope in most of his kids..... maybe.

Giza only laughed when she spat at him, getting a kick out of his superiority complex. In a sense, he reminded her of her father. Except less impressive... so far as she was concerned. But then, in the young lionesses mind, no one was better than her father was. Certainly not the leopard in front of her, who while amusing... mostly came off to her as annoying. How could anyone put up with him? Honestly she would have liked to pull off his ears... see if the horns were attached.

"King? Of what little hill?" She asked, leaning her head on her shoudler, "Some nice little place with your family? How quaint." She said, not caring much for kings or leaders. They just sent their mercenaries and bounty hunters after her father, and they always failed. What a bore to be a king... ordering a bunch of idiots around and never doing anything yourself was all she could think of on that subject, and it didn't appeal to her in the slightest.

"But I suppose if those you rule are as smart as bugs... it must be a terribly boring job. I'd be rid of anyone I saw as that incompetant. They just hold back stronger people." Giza giggled, her good mood never seeming to wane. It never really did. Her other emotions were almost missing entirely. "I'd rather hear what others have to say than speak for them... and I make my prey tell me everything they know about... everything before I'm done." She giggled.

Thona didn't attack prides who had ideas such as his own. He took of the weaker ones that would be in his way of watching everything suffer. Of course that meant every pride that was against any evil act that could possibly happen. Thona wasn't afraid to do things himself if need be either. He snarled a bit, but let a smirk cross his face. "You could always come by and check it out and say for yourself. " Of course that'd be the death of her if she did indeed come. Which was what he was hoping to see. He lashed his tail back and forth making his bones hit each other. He loved the sound of his accessories.

"The less brains they have, the easier they are to control, my puppet." He said with another smirk. Of course that meant the had to tell them what to do most of the day, but he also had kids that did that too. There were some that weren't too smart, and other's who were too smart for their own good. "With lack of intelligence isn't always what makes someone strong. Just give them an idea that they like, and they will do as they are told in hopes of getting that said idea." Thona was very good at manipulating his pride. And it seemed to work for the most part. Or at least as far as he could tell.

But Thona didn't pay much attention to his pride when he didn't need to. He didn't know who was involved in what, or who hated who in his pride. But if he found any mistrust or hatred in it, he'd fix it as soon as it started. Thona was not going to tolerate those who made the pride unable to work.

"Control?" Giza asked, looking skeptical as she sat down on a nearby rock, "Why would I want to do that? It's no fun if they don't struggle or scream. I don't see how seeing it would matter much... That's just a big group. And seeing how you act... you might just have me killed. That's what I would do if I were inviting you to see my family." She giggled, clearly finding the concept amusing, "And as fun as it would be to see your blood spilled from one end of the forest to another... I'm not really into that kind of thing. I'd want you alive... and writhing in pain while I sliced your eyes out of your skull... and I'd leave you blind for your whole pride to find... A blind king leading the fools." Now that sounded like fun. She would have to try that some day. "Death is never worth it because you never get to see that look of anguish... I love anguish. It's my favorite emotion."

She grinned, "The key... I find... is to separate the creatures who I like to see in such pain... and the ones who love it as much as I do." And she already had one of those. Someone who just loved to watch her hurt things... and now he would let her hurt him too. And he did look so pretty when she used his body as a scratching-post.

"You can control as many people as you like against their will... but the problem is that some day, someone will decide that they don't like what you think anymore. And they'll try to stop you." She giggled again, never seeming far removed from bursting into tears of laughter. "I look forward to when that happens... because I have people who know all my dark little secrets and can hardly wait to see what I do next. But you? You trick idiots into doing whatever you like... and the thing about idiots is that any time... someone like you could come around and convince them you're wrong... or evil and dark, and twisted. That you're someone just like me. And if they didn't know that before... You're the one who gets to lose everything."

She fluttered her eyelashes sweetly, "And personally... that's something I'd love to watch. Self-destructiveness is one of my favorite traits in a person."

"You could try to give me pain, and blind me, but realize that you'd fail." He said with a smirk. "You see nothing but yourself, no bigger picture in your mind." He said with a dull voice now. "Which makes you nothing. You have the power to perhaps help rule the lands. Maybe even torture those who you please how you want it. See fear in other's eyes from just glancing at you." Thona dreamed of power more then anything in the world. He would do anything to get it. "See, that's where we are different. You only see yourself, torturing things that don't matter." At least that's what he got out of her. "Someone who thinks they are great just because you have the power to take unimportant lives nice and slowly."

"Where I..... I see something much bigger." Indeed he did. He'd love to rule the lands, even if he was co-ruling it. Much, much bigger then this female could ever dream of seeing. Her mind was too closed to everything but her self and the one she tortured. He couldn't explain anything to this young narrow minded female. He couldn't listen to her nonsense anymore. She was driving him crazy. She hadn't attacked him, and he wasn't going to attack unless she attacked him first. Seeing as she knew what she was doing for the most part.

"Who said it was against their will?" He smirked. "See, they have the same idea's I do. They just need someone to lead them, to tell them how to reach the goal." He smirked as she went on. "Well if that's the case they'd just die. I'd see to it personally." He laughed, what was more of an evil laugh. "I don't take kind to those who object me in my pride." He laughed again at her stupidity. "You think I'm an idiot? Just let anyone walk into my pride." He laughed some more. " You have much to learn little girl, much to learn"

Thona wasn't an idiot, and he wouldn't let just anyone walk near his pride. Anyone who did was examined, then jumped if proven a threat. Sure, he could be tricked, but his pride was afraid of him as well as any. He beat most of them if they disobeyed him. Fear was power. Fear was the greatest power when it came to this type of pride. It served it's purpose well, and when one tried to define him, they all got to watch what happens.

Giza leaned forward, intrigued and amused, "You and I aren't so different my spotty little friend, even though you think we are. The difference is, I don't care what anyone thinks of me." Except her father, but she'd leave him out. "I'm free to do whatever I like, because I only have to please myself. Bigger picture? Bleh, who cares. We all end up dead anyway. I don't need to be validated by controlling others... I just like to torture people. Because then I'm with them, to terrify them and everyone they meet for the rest of their lives." And she grinned, stretching out and giggling, "You think I'm stupid... and that's fine. You don't mean anything to me. So you go and be the king of your cute little pride where everyone sucks up to you... Me? I just need me."

Well, she did like other people, not to make that mistake. Her family she liked just fine, and her "friend" Doto who liked hurting things as much as she did. But staying somewhere just so you could rule something? She'd much rather be free than have to deal with telling them what to do.

"When people are stupid, they're easy to convince of anything. Not to trust you, not to love you... not to believe a word you say. And you can't watch everyone and your own back at the same time. Sooner or later, everyone betrays you or leaves you... That's what I like about people. That's why I love to hurt them."

She waved her paw at him, resting her head on her shoulder with a small giggle, "Do as you like. I certainly won't try and stop you... though maybe one day I'll come by and try to get a claw in one of your pretty little eyes." She did like eyes... but she doubted she'd return. She had places to be... and someone to kill. "It is so fun... that absence of fear in your eyes. I'd love to keep that kind of arrogace nice and close. A good reminder of what it can do... the moment you think you're bigger than just you."

And she liked being herself, and just herself, without anyone else, quite a lot. He was a fool for trying to reach for more.

"You say that now, little girl." He went on "But eventually you'll see the light. Everyone needs something besides themselves. It's only a matter of time on how long it takes them to figure that out." Greed and power were the things that Thona long for, being worshiped and fear was just a bonus. It made him feel good to be known through out the lands. Causing fear, or perhaps maybe something else threw the lands seemed so.... so magical.

"But I am done here with this conversation, for it's boring the both of us I can see." He said eying the female. Too bad she didn't see the same things he did. She could have been very useful to him in his pride. Though, her ignorance was a bit annoying to him, so it was probably best that she stay away. Stay away from his pride and his dreams. And go about the land torturing those who didn't matter. "Perhaps one day We'll meet again. But I wouldn't hold your breath." Normally it was bad for those to meet him again, but if this female came looking for him. Oh.... he could see uses for her that he'd have her do.

"It's not a matter of watching or not. Fear makes people listen to what I have to say." He said his last words to her before watched her for one last moment. Listening to all that she had to say... Kinda. Well, to say it was going in one ear and out the other. He was good with selective hearing. Though, most guys seemed to master that well. He didn't see anything that could go wrong with the way he was. He was perfect in every word of it in his eyes. Arrogant, and egotistical.... Of course. He hadn't lost a fight in a very long time.

"It's time I go now" He said at last and seemed to stalk away from her. More of a kinda trot. He didn't think she'd be stupid enough to try to attack him if he showed her his back. It'd be her one mistake that would cost her her life. He loved it when those tried to attack his back. It made things so much fun.

Giza didn't attack though, she just watched him go and waved goodbye as she did so. "See you around then." She said pleasently, though she still thought him a fool. The more you gathered up in life, the more you had to lose. Even her own small family had already proven that... so she was happy for now with what she had. And what she intended to get back. But it would be awfully fun if she ever did run into the leopard in front of her again. He did have such a different view on life than she did. Though she did believe they were still very similar, if only because they liked to cause each other pain.

"And I hope everyone keeps fearing you... because on the day they stop, you're in for a real treat." Whether he won or lost, anyway. You couldn't control people with fear for their whole lives, she was fairly certain of that. Though she did intend to try, by leaving her victims alive and screaming, to let others scatter in fear of their presence. Because her artwork showed how much you could destroy a person without killing them... and she had always loved that.

But oh well. Maybe if she came back in this direction she'd see him around... but she had a long way to go before she would be back here. She had someone who she wanted to destroy... and they were tricky to find. "Have a nice day." And then she dissapeared into the brush.
