KiraLight yeah, it was somewhat obvious that raito would come up with some plan to kill L I'm just kinda annoyed at what's her face's stupidity, or extreme love for raito I really liked L he was really smart and i liked the way he sat... Yes the way L sat was great.
Hmm... makes me wonder if L was burried in some weird position...

Where was L buried btw? Was it in some random place like egypt or was it at Whammy House?

The Missing Puzzle Piece Wuu Where was L buried btw? Was it in some random place like egypt or was it at Whammy House? God knows where. I hope it's a nice place though. Surrounded by confetti candy 3nodding

I was greatly sadden when L died. He was my favorite character and him and Raito back and forth was really great. Right now with N and Mello it just isn't interesting to me anymore. But hey, i'm still reading cuz L is not dead. He's in a better place. 3nodding

DN lost its touch after L died. Ive been on chp 75 for a month because.. its boring now.

I initially thought it had lost its touch as well; but once you get to know Mello and Near it really is just as amazing as before L's death.

Well, maybe the reason why DN in't as interesting anymore is because Near, Mello and Raito never meet. So there won't be any tennis matches etc.(I loved the Raito vs Eru tennis match)

Inane Whimsies L was just too damn infectious. I wasn't traumatized by his death, I was expecting it because like you said, Raito is the main character not him. I do still miss him a lot though. Death Note lost it's edge when he died, even with his little clone-boy Near and the insane chocoate atic Mello taking his place. yes, but didnt light get elected into ls position, i find that a tad bit twisted, but as light said, he would get a throne atop the world," what better positon than l is there that compares to that? anyways not the point, i agree wit inane whimsies, l is too damn infectious, hes, well .... hes L

I can see Near and Mello not meeting Light in person being a reason. There isn't as much of a 'sense of danger' without having them meet and stuff. Well, for Light there is since Near knows who he is. There is also for Mello a bit too since his name is known.
With them all heading to Japan though. We may just get to see them finally meet.
Ah by the way. If you're gonna call it boring, it's best to of read it all up to date instead of just reading some, stopping, then declaring it boring. Since you know, waiting a week between 19 pages of manga could just cause it to become boring also. Or rather... tedious actually.
Also even though DN is different then it first was... I would hardly call it boring or not interesting...
I have to admit I can really feel 'the saddness of L' now, and it definitely isn't that he's gone. It's that his being gone caused people to loose interest in a good manga. One character isn't the whole manga. Sure L is my favorite character... and he would of been interesting on his own in any manga, but he isn't the only reason I started loving Death Note.

Um... a position that compares... one that has actual power now? L did loose his power somewhat 'cause of Near. Not to mention, with the world turning more towards Kira, someone like L who is known to be trying to stop him isn't a very good position.

Allow me to sit back and admire those words for a second. I couldnt agree with you more. If people were truly fans of Deathnote, they would continue reading into the next stage after their favourite characters death. I dont understand how people can simply go 'OMG SO'n So's DEAD! I can't read this anymore...' and then just give up on a manga. Don't you want to see that character avenged? Don't you want to see if that characters work or goal is completed in some way? This is how I was with Eru. I can sympathize with those who feel its gets boring though. Deathnote lacks a wide variety of characters to get attached to. If you're mad about L chances are you're going to dislike Raito a fair bit. Sometimes the plot can be a bit slow as well if you're not heavily into this kind of manga too. But in Deathnote's defense! After L's death it is a bit slow since its establishing the next scene, characters and situation. After that its a wild goose chase again.
