Not really. This time he's genuinely concerned. According to his 'Gear Second,' her grudge against him has intensified to the point that it's starting to warp her personality. He's trying to get it over with so she can let go of her anger against him.

Chapter I
{As a child, Herai was born into myth and legend. She was a one of "God"'s many children and was raised with her mother in a harem on the Vearth. From watching her father closely, she mimicked his behavior so she would one day be able to posess the title of God for herself. When she first ate the Windy Windy Fruit, she was tempted to act immediately, but knowing that a good strategist would wait for a proper moment, she kept her abilities underwraps and was the silent, almost invisible daughter. Finally, when her father became ill, she was able to quickly assassinate him in a very discrete manner as his illness was black lung, and she withheld air from being inhaled. He was diagnosed of dying from natural causes, and Herai was able to easily bat off her siblings to become Skypeia's new God, at the age of 11.}
Chapter II
{While a very dangerous God to Skypeia, Herai knows that to win over her people she must make herself lovable to the people, and often contributed to the needy. However, she had one public execution to 9 rebellious preists who tried to threaten the young monarch by revealing her part in her father's death. She swiftly had them beheaded in public, as a reminder that she would not tolerate treason. While this frightening act still hovers over the people of Skypeia, they live in a tense, but stable peace with Herai.}

P e r s o n a l i t y : {Asa is extremely shy and incapable of interacting with people normally. Due to a pressuring childhood, she often tries to flee anything not pertinent to her job, like social gatherings. She likes to go out and collect bugs as a hobby, but gets extremely embarassed when people "catch" her doing her hobby. When in a situation that needs her immediate attention, she becomes serious and quick-witted. However, she is terrified of severe violence, and when confronted with a fight, she usually flees, only to mope about it later. She is prone to melancholic and depressed moods, and often berates herself out-loud.}

Chapter I
{As a small child, she was pressured by her mother and father into seperate job options. Her mother, from a family of bounty hunters, tried to convince Asa to becoming one as well. Her father, from a family of Marines, tried at the same time to convince her to join the Marines. Neither of them often succeeded, as Asa would normally flee, intimidated by the violent nature of both. She took to visiting an old witch who lived in their town, who taught her what she could of medicine and herbs to give Asa enough knowledge to start learning on her own from practice and books. She soon left to find suitable work as a doctor.}
Chapter II
{Sometime after taking to the seas, she immediately found difficulty in finding work. Her over-timid personality made it impossible to go against the tide of fiercely competitive doctors, to the point where she almost gave up. But by the sheerest stroke of luck, she encountered the sick men of Herai while they sought a Poneglyph on the island she was on at the time. Impressed by Asa's skill, they brought her back to Herai, the same age as Asa while she ruled Skypeia, and she set her up as her head doctor and food tester for poison. It is reported that immediately after this complete turn around of fates, she was forced to stay in her own infirmary for a week as she developed a bad headache from having bowed to hard and knocking her head on the floor.}
