The android looked about in an observing manner. Taking in everything he saw it wasn't hard to see that he was ...not alive. Just small things like how he would linger far too long on one object and then just catalogue the rest in his computer brain.
He payed particular attention to the door frame. He stood before it watching as random images shifted and contorted beyond it. He moved to look at it from the side and then he shrugged. He noted his processor was buzzing...off the charts. The room was filled with a strange energy but he wasn't sure what it was and couldn't pin point it down in his logic.
He didn't blink often...and only did when it suited the mood. Like when moving to look at a different object. He settled on Wylde and then walked up to him.
"I am ...ready to accept the responsibility, I am what is the feeling...joyful? Happy? that you would consider me to take care of a child." He said with a slight nod of his head.

Wylde watched the figure in the room with him and stroked at his chin. This being was odd but it didn't bother the wild mage. He nodded as the attention fell upon him and he gave a small chuckle, "Like I said before, if I can take care of a few kids without them being too bad off, anyone can do it." It wasn't the most ringing endorsement but that was the best he had to offer. He pursed his lips a moment before he moved closer to the portal and peered into it and put a hand before it hovering just inches above the surface. For a moment the image flickered and stayed upon the view of something that looked rather like Feudal Japan.
The hand began to glow as he made a pulling motion and the doorframe portal began to physically vibrate a moment and the edges glowing with a bright white vibrancy for a short time before in the mage's hand was a polaroid photo with that first started out with nothing until the images and colors began to form, but they were still blurred beyond recognition.
"Give this object two days; try not to leave it alone if at all, children hate that, usually." Wylde said calmly as he moved to offer the Foto to the synthetic man. "For whatever reason it always happens like this, but I guess it gives you time to further prepare yourself!" The mage gave a chuckle as he waved another hand and a set of papers and a pen came floating toward them. "If you'll just sign these, you can be on your way, my friend!"

He watched in silence as the mage when in front of the door...he only caught a glimpse of the setting it was stuck on before it contorted and bent beyond recognition. Though a milisecond was enough for him to register the era of the setting as well where. When the photography was offered to him he took it and looked at it capturing the image in his memory.
"This...is the child?" he asked sounding a bit confused.

Wylde shook his head as he took the pen and paper in hand and gestured for a small desk to waddle closer to volunteer its surface to be written upon so paper work could be signed. He placed the papers on the desk that was now still and offered the equally strange man the pen that he had called over. "It is and it isn't, really. It is merely a vessel from which the child will arrive. Not sure if that explains it any better. I am not sure what happens when they come into being as the first ... two I managed to summon came in a similar way but I didn't get to see their manifestation first hand, I'm embarrassed to say."
Well, only a little embarrassed.

Liam only analyzed the photo in his hand, after a moment he figured that he may as well just accept it. Magic was beyond his logic. He moved the photo close to his chest noting that Wylde had mentioned the children didn't like being alone.
"Okay." He accepted what Wylde had to say before moving over to take the pen and after doing a once over scan and logging the info away he signed the peice's of paper despite using his wrong hand. It..apparently didn't matter which hand he used he was skilled writing with either. He wondered if the photo desired body heat...if that was the case he would have to figure out how to keep the photo warm.
"Is...there anything special I need to do with the photo to keep it happy? Besides keeping it with me at all times?" He inquired.

Wylde quietly scratched at the side of his jaw thoughtfully for a few moments when the question of anything else came up. The mage shrugged quietly, "Just feel free to find me if something is wrong or the child seems ill somehow. I'll try to help you but I can't promise miracles."
As much as the mage wished they could just go off and have a happy life together it probably wouldn't possible. He quietly gathered up the papers that were signed and with a wave of his hand each object he summoned went back to their original spot. "If there is a need to keep an extra eye on them because of something that happened here, I will of course let you know. Not that I foresee any real emergency cropping up any time soon," Wylde said cheerfully as he moved to file the papers away.
"Just remember to feed it and look out for it and all should be well. Are there any other questions?"

Liam looked at the photo again in his fingers and then nodded his head slightly. Feed and take care of it made sense...but it was a photograph. He had a sneaky suspiscion that he was missing something rather vital in this transaction but he didn't want to bother the man further with his endless questions.
"Okay then... I best prepare then." He went to turn away his gaze locking on the strange door for a moment before he fully turned away.
"Thank you. I am sure you will hear from me again."

Wylde nodded with a seemingly understanding expression on his face after everything was sorted out and in their place. The set up this mage was considered what could loosely be termed as 'controlled' chaos. He chuckled lightly at the figure's parting words and grinned, looking much like a fox as he did so.
"Not unless I contact you first, friend. Then you'll be hearing from ME again. Good days and good luck."
