It bothers me when I go to the pond at our park and see bread packages EVERYWHERE. I don't understand how people can care enough to go out and feed the cute little ducks, but be careless enough to just litter their bread packages everywhere. Usually once I month I used to go the pond with a plastic bag or two (recycled from groceries! ^^) and a big stick and fish out all the wrappers, cans, styrofoam, and packages from the pond. It's disgusting, and I wish more people took the effort to do so.
I also hate it when people make comments like "The only good ____ is a dead ____" To me, that's just completely naive and bothers me to no end. don't know why. I just hate the general disrespect towards things that did nothing to a certain person.
Sorry, had to rant. surprised

It's not that hard to walk to the garbage can and drop a plastic wrapper in there. stare And I also hate the dissrespect so many people have towards other species.

Hate. ignorance, intolerance, disrespect to animals, pollution. And humans who support all or some of the above.

When humans destroy a part of Nature, they are destroying a huge part of themselves.

It's interesting to see that America, the biggest and greatest contributor to all sorts of pollution is getting beaten by Nature. You would think that with all of this going on, people would get the picture. In fact, a couple of hours ago, there was a 2.3 earthquake in a city near me. And Massachusetts rarely gets any earthquakes and as far as I know, they've never had one at such a level.

Humans think that they're greater than nature, so they ignore nature's warnings and teach their young to do the same until everyone is innocently ignorant to the environment and there's hardly anyone left to teach them to love it.
I dunno...that's just my theory.... sweatdrop

Look at the Tsunami that hit Thailand last year. You just hear about them more when they hit Amrerica because we like to whine. I don't mean to bash America, but it's true. Anytime something bad happens we blow it out of proportion and try to seek as much international sympathy as we can. But human "progress" has intensified and provoked many of the "natural" disasters of our world. For example the expansion of the Sahara. I don't remember exactly what is causing that, but it is expanding, I remember reading that.

I'm beginning to suspect it's a willfull ignorance these people harbor, they're just smiling as their planet goes to hell. question
