Distractedly, the Hawk King looked over his shoulder, then waved dismissively, "Yeah, fine. He can sit in the back, on... my side, I guess. Just don't make a fuss." Tibarn glanced up as he spotted Alihi approach with Amara, all dressed up in the most adorable dress you ever did see and carrying a basket of flowers and petals. It was getting to be about that time, so as he passed them by, Tibarn paused for a quick man-hug with Janaff, which was followed by an intricate secret handshake. "Okay... ready," he murmured, turning to Sophia. "I'll head up now, then." He glanced at Amara and smiled warmly, then looked back to Sophia. "I guess... yeah, once I go up it's pretty much all scripted for me." He grinned, then looked past her and smiled, shifting his damn scarf a bit.

Serra was up at the altar already (gah, that pink hair was just garish against the background), so Tibarn stepped around between the pillars and made his way down the aisle, pausing to offer a few close friends little waves before he walked up and took his place to the right of the altar, watching the back to wait for his bride.

Ganon was already in place with a few other musicians off to the side, tuning his violin in preparation for the wedding march. They just had to wait for Sophia's signal, and they'd all get paid nicely for a good job.

Ganon was good at good jobs, and he glanced back as he took his seat, nodding to the pianist.

"Of course, the wedding will be fine. Now quit worrying and get married. Leave the worry part to Hat." Isadora reassured as she opened the door.

Finn bowed, and made sure Lance bowed as well, as Tibarn allowed Lance into the wedding. The moment Tibarn left them, Lance was already about go hit on some of the girls (at least, that's what Finn assumed he was about to do), but with a quick glare, Lance quickly hung with his head and went to the far back, sitting down on one of the seats at the end.

Breathing a sigh of relief, Finn was about to go to his seat when a tall woman brushed him aside, sitting down next to Prince Leaf, right on Finn's seat.

Walking up to the very intimidating woman, Finn cleared his throat as he spoke up. "Uhm, excuse me, Milady, but I believe you've taken me-"

Prince Leaf, on the other hand, had some very different words to say. "Uncle Finny. I can see her boobies."

Finn froze all over at the Prince's comment, hoping the woman hadn't heard it.

Ephraim looked up and noticed the others start heading inside. He stood up and followed the others inside. The front seats were already taken, so Ephraim sat somewhere in the back, probably far away from the people that actually knew the couple better then he did.

Rei wandered the paths of the forest, lightly tossing a small box in his hand. The wedding was due to start soon, but he had the time to wander around, for at least a minute. As the box tumbled through his fingers, Rei thought of the small gold band inside, quickly putting the box in his pocket, so his fidgety hands wouldn't mess it, or the other one, up.

Adjusting his fancy, new coat a little, Rei approached the chapel, a rush in his steps. His royal purple coat flowed softly behind him, gold trim reflecting in the sun, his green vest shining like an emerald.

As Rei reached the door, a slightly awkward look crept across his already stressed face, eyes slightly widening at the authoritarian-esque Sophia standing almost menacingly by the entrance, as if waiting for him. His pace quickened as he reached the vine-covered walkway, a nervously casual look seeping from his eyes as he gave a sheepish smile.

"Heh, sorry I'm late. So... how's all this going to happen?"

Amelia adjusted her own bouquet of flowers (considerably smaller than Ayra's, no need to upstage the bride at her own wedding, no sir). Her hands weren't clammy anymore, and she still couldn't figure out the real reason why she felt so damn nervous. She liked to assume it was her bad luck streak when wearing these stupid dresses -- though she had to admit she did like how she looked in it, especially with the styled hair and make-up she rarely touched -- but as Ayra laughed, her own voice nervous, Amelia couldn't help but echo her. Everything would be fine, even if she had to turn a chair into a weapon and beat off some would-be attacker.

Though she'd probably get beaten by the Hawk King and enraged bride if that actually happened.

Amelia paused as Ayra mentioned a double wedding, her face burning a bright red to clash with the blues and whites of her dress and flowers. Double wedding. It could have been, but it wasn't. Amelia thought of Rhys for a moment, her expression relaxing, but as soon as Ayra spoke once more, her body snapped to attention. Still a job to do.

Amelia released a long breath. Time to go. "Don't drop the ring," Amelia whispered with a grin as she heard the pianist begin to play. She wiggled her toes in her tights and breathed in again, steadying what remained of the nervous tension. Amelia arranged a small, calm smile on her face as Isadora and Janaff moved down the aisle at the lead. Once their part had been played, Amelia came out as maid of honor, skirt and styled hair rustling with the breeze as she took her place at the pulpit; somewhere in the middle of that walk, the smile had become less forced, more natural. It wasn't about her, it was about Ayra. So much less pressure that way.

With her job pretty much done, Amelia lowered her flowers against her stomach and watched the processions continue, still smiling. It was a perfect day for a wedding.

Blossom had been sitting at the pews for a while now, hands clasped in her lap, legs kicking slowly as she waited for the ceremony to begin. She'd thought to dress up too, coming in a pale green dress embroidered with little pink flowers, matching shoes, and gloves. She had taken her place at Tibarn's side of the foresty area where they'd decided to hold the ceremony and waited.

And waited.
And waited some more.

Ten minutes had passed and they still hadn't started? Weren't people usually anxious to start these things? Blossom had kept herself busy watching the others speak (not to mention Finn's rather... interesting comment towards Vaida, whom Blossom fastidiously avoided) but before she could see how the woman reacted, the music played and out came Amelia, only recognizing her from the hair color. People looked really different when in armor and when in a girly dress, after all. Blossom sat up straighter and smiled. Finally.

Ninian watched as people began to enter. Though there were some she didn't know, others she recognized right away. Vaida with Tori right behind her; two men and a little boy, who was quickly getting into trouble; a girl; Ephraim; Sophia acting as usher; Ganon and the other musicians at the front; Rei just entering in a rush; and Tibarn making his way up the aisle, looking nervous.

She giggled. She had been as nervous as she could possibly have been on her wedding day. The nerves had disappeared the moment her eyes met Eliwood's; that was the moment she knew she'd made the right choice.

The processional began, and Ninian turned, smiling at Amelia as the general walked down the aisle, looking nervous herself.

xxxxx"If you're worried about surviving, xxxxxxxyou can worry about it after you're dead!"
"The wyvern riders of Bern sit atop the heap of all other forces on the continent!" xxxxx "You will see our power soon!"

Vaida turned her head, after the child spoke. Not when the adult spoke, mind you, since she had full intentions of blowing him off.

"Ehhh? Oh, you see em' eh, you little runt? Want a closer look?!"

At that, she grabbed the child harshly by his collar and buried his head in her chest, cutting off all oxygen supply.

"Well, good, you can look all you want!"
Tori sat there, and giggled.

Sue walked inside, or rather rode inside gracefully and dismounted Andre. She left him near her, as he loved to be. She'd showed up in her traditional nomadic clothing that she'd normally wear to tribal weddings, where all the women would give the couple a blessing from Father Sky and Mother Earth. Her sword she carried was ceremonial, a replica of the legendary Sol Katti her mother once wielded. It was said that those who pass under it would have good fortune. As Sue was the only nomad here at the moment, she'd have to do that part of the ceremony. Surely, Rath would be proud.

Surely.

She noticed Amelia, one of comrades gave her a friendly greeting. "Hello there... hm... Amelia. You... look lovely." the nomad smiled kindly.

Victoria didn't think she would make it, being so busy healing up the Castle Guard and the others from their injuries during the events of Spring. Somehow, she managed to come in her usual Bishop robes, only this time, she donned a veil for this special ceremony. It was the only time they'd see her covered: for she wasn't a bishop of a true Order.

They weren't monks and clerics here, they were everyday people, some of them believers. She was okay with that. And she was just fine with wearing the cover. The blonde did wonder if Father Renault, Arashe, and her friend Tristai would show up.

Even when faced with unexpected circumstances, Sophia remained calm. It was strange how, unlike a few others, she didn’t seem to be out of it or have a hangover even though she had also been at the party, and drank quite a lot for that matter. Despite her looks, Sophia was actually quite old, how old however was a mystery, but she had drank her fair share in the past and had thus developed quite a tolerance to alcohol.

The Arcadian girl let out a small sigh as the moment all of her planning was for was fast approaching. A light smile touched her features as she nodded in understanding as she watched the groom leave for his position. Most people had arrived by now, and it was about time they got this show on the road. The music would signal the ceremony would soon be beginning, so without any further waiting, she motioned with her hand towards the musicians to begin playing, before she flipped a page over on her clip board. The new page had on it the schedule of the procession.

Luckily, the best man and the flower girl were here with her, as for the others, Sophia had been informed that Ayra, Amelia, and Isadora were now ready and waiting to proceed. The only one missing was one green haired magic user… who had just happened to show up, much later than she would have liked. “Glad to have you join us…” the lavender haired girl said as a slight frown pulled at her features. She would have liked to ask what had taken him so long, but such an unimportant detail didn’t need to be figured out now.

“Tibarn is already waiting… the order will be Janaff, then Amelia, followed by you… then Amara and finally Ayra.” As if on cue the procession had begun and Sophia shooed Rei away so that he could get ready and proceed without delay.

Arashe Nyilas

PostPosted: Fri May 15, 2009 3:18 pm

Arashe had made his way through the door a ways back, waiting in a remote corner for someone... interesting to arrive. After the flood of oh-so-bland attendees, Arashe's interest piqued at an unfamiliar face. A beautiful woman, eyes as fierce as the carnage of bloodiest wars, hair the gold of the heavenly sun. Her dress, though appearing torn, appeared to be elegantly crafted to look battle-torn, making it all the more appealing. And the way she bowled through the commoners like an angry bull was... something else. Just the... life... that exhumed from her body, moving rapidly in time with each step she took, her seemingly-fragile frame looking ever closer to an explosion. Arashe couldn't just let the woman alone, it's hardly a chivalrous thing to do, especially after watching her try to hide a child in those supple reservoirs of human life.

So, he walked over, taking a seat next to the angry woman, peering cautiously over at the pink-haired young one at her side.

"Well, aren't you... enchanting. I believe that I've not seen you around here before. My name is Arashe Nyilas, marksman extraordinaire. Now, may I have the pleasure of the name of such a ravishing beauty such as yourself?" While Arashe introduced himself, he had to stifle hints of laughter at that poor boy. Maybe he shouldn't have tried to take a look in the first place... And all the while, he had yet to notice Victoria make her way into the area, though he'd surely been wondering why she wasn't playing the role of the holy man, instead of the spastic, pink bar wench that was up there now.
PostPosted: Fri May 15, 2009 3:22 pm

"Arashe!" Victoria saw those features and almost instantly recognized him. "I already know what you're going to ask by that expression on your face. I've been busy healing those... reckless guardsman." She signaled to a few of the Castle Guard, whom were in charge of watching over the procession. "Honestly, do you have any idea how hard us healers work? It's hard to make appointments when we have such long hours. You sharpshooters are lucky to choose your own schedules!" the bishop exclaimed.

After walking down the aisle and being seated from Janaff, Isadora looked back to see Amelia and the rest to walked down the aisle. Suddenly she heard a muffled cried.

Turning her attention, she noticed Vaida had arrived and she was smothering the child toward her.... chest. When and how Vaida came to the wedding? She would never know. However, it was nice to know that Vaida was still alive.
PostPosted: Fri May 15, 2009 3:27 pm

Finn sure didn't expect THAT. Of course, it wasn't the most prudent woman he had seen, but smothering a child with her cleavage? They didn't teach you how to deal with situations like these in the army!

And now the procession was starting! Finn started panicking. This was a really important day to Lady Ayra, a friend he had served with in Sigurd's army. If he ruined her big day, he'd never forgive himself!

Deciding on an all-or-nothing act, Finn managed to wrestle Prince Leaf from the woman's grasp. In the process, however, the momentum carried on and he flung the little Prince into the face of a blonde man that had suddenly appeared, and with quite the force as well. Wincing as the toddler made contact with the man's face, Finn spun around and in one movement sat Leaf down on an empty seat next to him, while Finn himself took the seat Leaf had just sat on. Leaf was red as a tomato in the face, partly from blushing but mostly from lack of oxygen. Now very anxious as he'd have to sit next to this scary woman the entire wedding, he just prayed nothing would happen until afterwards at the least.

Meanwhile...

Lance had gotten quite comfortable at the back. He was eyeing the seats now...quite a lot of interesting people here...Alright! He had decided! Today was the day he'd make friends! Preferably cute girl ones...that way, he could feel satisfied from a more male point of view as well.

He was laughing quietly at what was transpiring over at Finny's seats. It wasn't often the cool-headed knight looked that panicked, and it filled Lance with a brief feeling of satisfaction.

Amelia turned as she heard a familiar voice next to her, windswept-looking hair falling across her face, obscuring parts of her vision. Enough was left clear, however, to let her see the nomadic woman next to her. The rather native-looking dress she had really complimented her build, Amelia decided, short-sleeved to show the wiry arms, airy but not baggy. It looked pretty on her.

"Thank you. You do, too," Amelia whispered. She didn't want to speak too loudly or do something to take the attention from Ayra or Tibarn. She wasn't sure if she was supposed to be silent now, anyway.
