Jysayne slowed, taking a deep breath as he left what could be counted as the slums and entered what could be counted as middle class. More colors would confuse the stalker but the crowds would slow him down. More witness more time needed to finish the upcoming chore. He arched on his feet, movements becoming more of a glide, smooth, gentle, and slow. No use busting a foot or stepping on something.
His fingers slipped inside the sleeves, letting the long fabric cover his hands as he worked loose the thin delicate needle from the catch. One, two, three…that was the house. He continued to sing the eerie little melody walking pass the house. Take a left next road up and circle the building. What is the guard count, where is the best place to plant the little spelled needle? One chance, circling twice will give the game away. Was that a weak spot in the stone?
A wrist flick and the thin strip of metal whirled and stuck. One down…two to go, Jysayne brushed hair falling from the clips and continued. I wonder if he is enjoying the show?

Xar'zith was rather wary when "Kai" made his way into a more populated area of the town. He watched from atop one of the rooftops from outside the crowd and decided to descend to the ground, as it would be easier to wander through a crowd than on the rooftop without drawing as much attention. He slipped down from the roof silently landing on his feet and edged his way through the crowd, his eyes affixed to the purple robed fellow.
When he was only a few yards away he couldn't help but notice that the fellow was walking slightly different than before. He was more so gliding in a slow motion...making him seem as though he were walking on air. Xar crept a little closer..but made sure that he was safely out of sight as he watched the other go about his work.
Despite the sound of the crowd Xar could still make out the eerie little melody that "Kai" was humming. he couldn't help but smile at this habit the other had. It was almost something of a tell. he was now sure that the other was an assassin of sorts, and was going about some sort of list of targets that needed to be taken out. This would indeed prove an interesting day for Xar. He had never seen an assassin at work before, and it would undoubtedly be something he could learn from.

One device set, two to go. Jysayne pushed his hair back moving on, resetting one of the tiny hair clips. After this I think I’ll head for home, perhaps allow this stranger to meet up with cousin. The melody broke of slightly into a small purr sound of contentment. He took up the melody again at the coda. He hummed the last few bars of the melody a few times till it ended in one high note.
He was getting more and more into the hunt. The slow way to the targets, the circling and then with a flick, embedding the thin device. His eyes narrowed and he breathed deep, teeth clench and then…one of them had to have guards. Well truth be told, all of them have guards, this house was more of a moving patrol. Tricky.

He was planting needles in the bricks of the building. Xar was rather curious as to why, until he realized what they had to be. Oh lord...he was going to blow up the building like that bar earlier. Only..with a different sort of device. Xar couldn't help but wonder where the "Kai" had gotten them from.
While Xar realized the danger he was in being so close to a building, he increased his pace making sure not to appear too alarmed or in a hurry and followed after "Kai" as he continued on. Now..he was deeply ingested into the busy crowd and was starting to feel overwhelmed by all the faces surrounding him. He finally managed to free himself and once more locate "Kai" in the crowd. He made his way over quickly and managed to get within ten feet of him, keeping his sight zoned in on "Kai" as Kai glided through the crowd.
He heard the melody "Kai" was humming break off into a small purr. Xar'zith couldn't help but smile at it..knowing that the other was in a good mood at the work he was doing. Was this how most Assassins felt when they were working? Xar'zith couldn't help but long to experience the same feeling when he went about his work. Most of the time it was dull, and very dreary work. Perhaps he should try making his work more enjoyable by turning it into a game, like this "Kai" fellow did.
He watched rather impressed when with a single concealed flick of his wrist unleashed yet another needle into a drow standing on one corner of the street talking in a subdued tone with another who was surrounded by an entourage of guards. Xar managed to hear with his sharp ears mention of a fire that had killed off three nobles earlier that night come from a couple from behind him. Xar drew in a sharp breath in shocked realization that "Kai" was picking off nobles of three houses. He couldn't help but wonder what had brought this about.
Xar'zith's attention was suddenly pulled away from "Kai" when someone discovered the dead drow and shouted a warning. s**t! This wasn't good. Xar knew that usually when a noble drow died..they would first go after any outsiders and since he was one..he knew that if he didn't get moving he was going to be detained for questioning. The type of Questioning that he may not survive. He dashed after the now disappearing "Kai" and cried out, "Wait for me Kai!" figuring that if he appeared to be trying to catch someone they would leave him be.

Jysayne blinked slightly. Well that was a mistake; he had meant to hit the wall not the drow though he doubt Shiraz would be unhappy. He would have to move and fast now…before his house instigated the emergency plan. It would be messy.
He started off before turning at the voice, swiftly masking his shock. Oooh, it was his stalker. He motioned the other to come quickly, smoothing out the fabric of his hakamas as he waited.

Xar'zith could tell by the other's expression that he hadn't meant to hit the drow..and couldn't help but chuckle slightly under his breath as he joined the other male. Or perhaps it had been shock of hearing someone call his name? Xar couldn't really tell and didn't think it was a smart time to start asking questions..not when the patrol was already swarming towards them and stopping all the drow that were trying to get out off of the street.
He easily matched the other's gait as they managed to elude the guards and sneak off into an alley way close by. Now that Xar was close to "Kai" he was struck by how tall he was. Most males were five foot or so.."Kai" was a good four inches over. Xar was more around 4'8...so he was on the short side. He felt rather safe with a tall drow around him, at least for now. He still wasn't sure how this "Kai" was going to react to having him following him for the past hour.
"You're not..uh..mad at me are you?" Xar asked looking up at the male with big blue eyes.

Jysayne shook his head, moving quickly down the alleyway. “No, but we have to keep moving.” He muttered. He wanted to get home as fast as possible before the high from early dropped and he crashed some where unpleasant. Such as in range of unpleasant people with murderess thoughts, he did not want to die let alone made into some sort of zombie puppet.
“Anyhow…what is your name? I can’t keep calling you stalker.” He grumbled as he led him back into the warrens.

"Good." Xar replied with a relieved bob of his head. He followed the other, keeping silent and moving as fast as he could. He knew that it would not be wise to get caught by the guards that were now crashing down the streets in search of the culprit that had murdered their charge.
"You can call me Xar," He replied with a shrug of his shoulders as he quickened his pace as his hearing picked up footsteps behind them. "we might want to lose the people who are following us. I would like to leave the city intact."

Jysayne hissed. “I know, I know…ahh!” He tugged Xar quickly into a building, ducking the guard at the door. “Quickly, head for the stairs,” he snapped out, twisting on his feet to throw a handful of senbon needles out the doorway. Amber rose eyes meet the guards in a quick communications before he turned and ran after. “My house owns this building, he’ll buy us a little time to get out of here.”

Xar'zith stumbled a bit as "Kai" pulled him after him into the building. He managed to steady himself, only for the other to snap at him to get a move on. Xar frowned..but did as he was told. He sped up the stairs flying as he went, going over two..three stairs as he went. It had been a trick he had learned from one of the mercs in his group. He was rather grateful for the trick now that he was being chased.
"How nice..." Xar sneered slightly, as "Kai" caught up with him. "Question..how are we going to get out of the building? You didn't happen to note that there are no other buildings close enough for us to leap onto did you? What exactly are we going to do once we get to the top?"

Kai ran swiftly stairs flying and shook his head. "We are not going out the top. We are getting reinforcements.” He spun on his heel on a floor. “This way!” he called walking towards the crates, pulling a hinged mirror from his sleeve. He opened the largest hopping in. “We are going to hide. By now the guard would have called in my eldest brother. He can rant for hours without anyone cross the threshold of his domain.” Jysayne’s brow wrinkled. “It is quite scary.”
He opened the mirror biting his thumb till blood flowed and smeared it over the top half of the bone, breathing over the bottom. The object gave a pleasant hum, glowing slightly. “And now, we wait for an answer.”

Xar'zith was a bit surprised by this turn of events, but was rather relieved by it. At least he wouldn't have to worry about breaking a leg by trying to drop to the ground below. He followed after the other drow towards the back of the floor they were on and amongst crates of various sizes.
He was rather surprised by the other's insistence of hiding in the crates. Xar wrinkled his brow, and slightly turned as if to go back the way he had come. Was this fellow loony or something? How was he going to get reinforcements when they were obviously no where near any means of communication? Then he caught sight of the mirror and stopped himself. Ah..of course.
Xar finally pulled a crate open a few feet away from "Kai's" hiding spot and slid inside and waited for "Kai's" mirror to get a response.
"It's not going to take long is it?" He asked rather anxiously hearing the footsteps of the guards coming closer and closer to them.

Jysayne smiled as the mirror lit up. "No, not at all. Hello Illy, could you come down to eldest brothers warehouse to do some clean up?" He sounded quite cheerful. "Sorry to be a bother of course...some...mmm changes happened."
He paused, listening to the footsteps before smirking as his eldest sibblings voice rang though the stairs. "Eldest brother always had a mouth on him." He winced slightly at some of the language used, imaging his brother rearing up and tearing into the pack of guards much like a matron mother on PMS. "Things I have to put up with..."

As Xar could not see what happened..and only the expression on the other's face he surmised that the other had gotten the answer he had wanted. His ears were suddenly ringing with the loud voice that rang throughout the building..rising in indignation at what was occurring below them. Xar slapped his hands over his ears, and grimaced in pain. "That's putting it lightly! He's worse than a shrieking banshee!" Xar swore angrily.

"Mostly it is the echoing of the hallways that builds his voice to such a noise. I have my cousin to thank for that," Jysayne poked in his sleeve coming up with two sets of ear plugs. "Here," He offered a set to Xar, snapping his own in place with a sigh of relief.
Illiamaste walked slowly to the building, a sly grin on his face as he heard the bellows. "Someone already beat me...Ahh, this won't dooo." He sang, stepping inside, eyes gleaming in amusement. "Shyn'ar! I can't work if they can't hear me!" He called cheerfully, drapping over his eldest cousin shoulders. "Pleaseeee, pleassee! Let me take if from here!" He called, poking the other in the nose.
Shyn'ar snorted, turning swiftly on heel. "If you say so cousin."
