The older girl had been spreading the section out on the floor and blinked up at her. "No, honey, that's something that needs to stay clean. That's a cooking apron and if it's nice like that, your Mom probably only wants it for cooking special things." she explained.
Carefully, Ebony stood to see if she could help the littler girl find something she could use.

"Oh..." Luska frowned a little out of frustration. She quickly threw the apron over a chair and rushed into the large bathroom where a pile of clothes were sitting by a washing machine. She waited for Ebony to enter the bathroom before she began digging into a pile.
Though at first, the search seemed rather fruitless until finally, Luska pulled out a wrinkled blouse. At first glance, it seemed like nothing was wrong with it. But upon closer inspection there were several holes in it.
"How 'bout this?"

Ebony inspected it a bit. "All right. That seems okay. It's a bit too worn out to be worn anymore. Though if your Mommy turns out she wanted to save that for something, I'll have to buy her a new one. But that's okay." she said gently, patting Luska's head gently. "What did you want to color with the glitter?"

Finally getting the 'okay', the child lets out a very excited squeal. She tilted her head to the side as she thought of what she could use the glitter for. Glitter was pretty and sparkly, and what she really wanted to do was throw it around the room.
Of course, that would defeat the purpose of the newspaper. Plus, even Luska knew that Rein would be displeased with that. Although it wasn't necessarily with glitter, the toddler knew from experience how upset the woman can get when Luska drew all over the walls at an attempt to make them more "pretty".
"Can we use the glitter for the coloring books?"

"Sure. I have glitter in different colors." Ebby assured her with a smile. "Or you could use markers and then make the pictures you color sparkly." That could be fun. "And maybe if you're good, we can put a bit of the washable glitter in your hair or on your wings so you can feel pretty. How's that sound?"

"You'll make Lulu pretty with glitter?!" Once again, she lets out yet another excited squeal. "Okay! Okay!" Luska replies while nodding her head with great enthusiasm. By now, she was happily skipping back into the living room. Not being one to sit still when excited and happy, Luska was hoping around from one spot to another as she waited for the fun to begin.

Ebony giggled a little, watching the girl prance about. Sitting down, the older female carefully took out the coloring books and the markers. "Do you want to color the pictures in the book or just draw your own?" she asked with a sweet smile to the little one. At least the girl was easily pleased.

"Color~!" Was Luska's immediate answer. She had tried drawing once...on the walls. Rein was not happy about that, especially since she had to clean up the mess. Her reaction wasn't all that pleasant either. Besides, the little girl wasn't much of an artist anyway. Coloring was easier and more fun in her opinion.
"Lulu likes coloring best!"

Ebony laughed quietly, nodding as she put the other books back and set up the fairy one for her. Reaching into her bag now, she pulled out colored pencils, markers and crayons, all in large sets. "Which would you like to color with, Lulu? We can put the sparkles on top."

"Ah, these~! The markers~!" Luska exclaims. While things were still being set up, Luska took the time to flip through the pages until she finally found something that attracted her interest. The toddler smiled when she found a picture that looked like a group of fairies dancing together with musical notes surrounding them.
"Lulu likes this picture!"

"Okies." Ebby agreed, giving her the markers and cleaning up the rest of the stuff. "If you like that picture, go ahead and color it. Have some fun." the older girl assured her, patting her charge's shoulder. "You can color as many pictures in there as you want."
