"It's not the humming it's the song you're humming!" Nek yelled, trying to force her nightmares back again, "They-they-"
She stopped, panting, unable to speak anymore without straining her own voice. The images of Byrnar's unseen death and the mourning of his children filled her eyes more than the sight of her sword hilt in her hands right in front of her. When she was finally able to speak again she attempted to calm her voice, aware that she was probably frightening the other Namir, "I am part Water Nymph, it makes me react... Differently to different things that affect water than flesh..."
Leaving the sword embedded in the stream, knowing that it wouldn't be able to be washed away now, she crawled through the shallow water and to the shore. She collapsed half in and half out of the water at the edge of the stream, her rereleased rage heating her enough to stop her shivering but exhausting her so that there wasn't much else she could do. The watery quality faded from her eyes and she simply stared straight ahead, afraid to do anything lest it make the nightmares come back, leaving her only to hope that the other Namir would go away.

"T-they what.. the music makes you react differently? I-I didn't know that was possible.. they're only random sounds that I make.." She shifts still afraid and not knowing what was wrong with the other.. not to mention she was trying to get over the distractions so she could at least 'see' the other namrah.
"Does it hurt you.. Should I hum something happier? Because I can't move right now.. and I feel useless." She lets out a small noise, trying to hold back her humming though. "Is there anything you want to talk about..? I could try and help.. I know I'm not the best one to be saying this but I can try..?"

"I don't want to talk about it!" she said, a little too harshly, "Zomzger... Could you just... Try not humming at all?" Still stranded on the edge of the stream, she would suggest that she would go away herself if she could move. She sighed heavily, too tired now to be angry yet not tired enough to fall into another dreamless sleep, and unwilling to fall into a sleep with dreams.
Trying to change the subject she asked, "What can I do to help you be able to move again?" It was a forced question, as she didn't want to appear nice to the other, and didn't really want to be nice at the moment. She again gritted her teeth, doubting that she would be any more help than the other Namir could be to her.

"O-o-okay! You don't have to.. a-and I'll stop humming, for now at least.. I can't stop humming forever. It's more than a hobby now to me.. I thank that strange boy I met.. very artistic.. I just wish I knew his name" She sighed a little in contemplation as she thought about the encounter. It was a good day and that seem to make her feel better and distracted from the fear that caught her before.
She shifted from being on her hind legs to lay down on all four, feeling at the ground. "You would have to not scream.. and you can't stab another tree.. anything else is fine, they don't scream out into the wind." Her ears twitch lightly as she smiled and listened to the nice sounds of the forest. She almost forgot about them in the state of frenzy.

Nek sighed, "So long as you don't hum, I wont scream..." Her eyes were threatening to close on her and she was having difficulties keeping them open.
"So," she said, her voice tired and sore from the yelling she had done before, "Uh..." She didn't really know what she wanted to say, only that she wanted some sort of conversation or something going to distract her from sleep, not wanting to return to the realm of nightmares just yet. "Why wont they leave me alone?" she muttered darkly, breifly closing her eyes for a respite only to snap them open again at the feel of sleep tugging at her consious and her hair being tugged by tiny hands.

"I won't hum then.. and I'll leave you alone.." She murmured casually ears twitching softly*
She closed her eyes and placed them on her paws before she lifts her head up again and blinks confusedly. "What won't leave you alone. Is my presence really that bothersome?" She mumbled this a little low, but full of a somewhat sad emotion.

"Byrnar... Rani, Coy, Anly, Tan, Shinib..." she whispered, not really wanting to answer, but wanting to talk, "Kuit..." A shudder passed down her spine as each name was said, "The nightmare... It wont go away..."
Sleep was beginning to claim her now, making her speak without really thinking, "I didn't mean for him to die... He should not have tried to... I can't stop Kuit, that's why I have to run... I'm such a coward... I'm sorry..." Her voice grew fainter with each fragment, until she finally dozed off, wincing and grimacing in her troubled sleep.(If you want to continue, Mint can simply wake her up by calling out to her)

She was confused to hear any of these names, wondering what the female was talking about.. 'Nightmare..? Is that why she's been screaming..' The kuit name scared Mint slightly, making her blink a few times before she pulls her head up and stumbles forward a little.
"What...? Coward.. They say many heroes are called such because they ran instead of fighting! I-I'm sure whatever happened wasn't your fault, I doubt it.." She Didn't here anymore talking and wondered what happened. "Hello..! Are you okay..?

"What-no-stop!" she breathed quickly, blinking awake at the sound of the other Namir's voice, "Of course it's my fault, if I had stayed he wouldn't have died, none of them would have, and the kids... They blame me... I know they do... He shouldn't have chosen me over them..."
She had slowly drawn herself into a sitting position, letting her hands fall into the water where her knees rested. Her eyes followed the ripples that sprung from her hands and she was almost entranced by the way they danced along the top of the water, "If I was only able to stop Kuit, none of it would have ever happened..."

She comes close to the other, but not too close. Her stumbling made her fall down to her face and wince in pain. She never does get over distractions well enough. It could put her into a very horrible situation...
Mint's ears twitched quickly at the sound of her voice and made a noise. "Nothing is anyone's fault, it never is.. If you stayed.. What happens if you both died? Have you thought of that possibility? Fate is fate. He was bound to die sooner than later. If you stayed you would have just died with him... At least that's what it sounds like, that .. Quit person.. what ever they are, sounds very horrifying.."

"That's the point," she said, her voice falling into a lame monotone, "He died for me, because he said he loved me..." This was her third time admitting that out loud, at least she thought it was her third. Either way, she was getting tired of it, of the same thing over and over, she just wanted it to leave her alone.
Not knowing what else to do she slowly stood up, walked over to pluck her sword from the streambed, and ram it into its sheath without even drying it off. She turned back to the other Namir, her emotions finally pushed back for the moment, "Who are you anyways?"

"But even if he didn't love you, he would still have died.. It's fate. You should be glad you had someone die for you, someone to love you." She sighs softly from this and turned her head, following some steps of hers.
"Me? Oh.. I don't think I'm too important you shouldn't worry about my name." She laughs a bit weakly. "Besides I'll be leaving soon, and you'll forget about me soon enough! I'm like.. I guess the songs I sing in the wind."

"I did not love him in return," she replied, her voice now cold as ice, "His death was meaningless, there is no such thing as Fate; they are a person, an entity that likes to toy with the likes of others!" Shaking her head to avoid falling back into her rage she took a few steps of her own.
"Just like memories, everyone's name is to be remembered, whether it be good or bad," she said softly, shivering slightly, "Whether it be from the wind or the water..."

"But did you like him? Even a bit.. did you consider him a friend..? No death is meaningless.. each one has a meaning. If something happens, it affexts another, there must be some reason as to why he died.. other than the person toying with your life.."
She lets out a sigh and disagrees. "If that's true than how come people still forget? Many people forget my name, I find no reason of speaking it anymore..!"

Nek frowned, "Tell me your name, I do not forget; if you see me again and I do not remember it then you can give up your name." She turned around again to stare oddly at the other Namir, "You tell me no death is meaningless, if each death has worth, then each death has a name to be passed on, which means yours should be, too." Sighing, she decided to start by giving her own name for once. "I am Nekoyitolani," she said, though her voice lacked the prode with which she once would have said it.
