"Well the one I was in was in ruins. But the parts that weren't falling apart were grand and gorgeous. Those humans really did put a lot of effort into making it." Lloyd said skirting around a small puddle, "A forest huh? I've been in forests before.... but I must say, this is a jungle. Far more dense and vast than a forest. Plus the temperature here makes it very humid when you enter the trees." He was watching where he was going and noticed a certain plant. "Ah a pitcher plant. It's not dangerous to us but for frogs and insects it's deadly." He said pointing to the plant. He then kept moving slowing down when they reached more vines. "Careful. Snakes like to hang down like a vine."

"Oooh, I don't think I'd be able to abandon something like that if I'd spent so much time on it." Sophie blushed slightly at being jently corrected. "Well...I havent been in a jungle either so." She giggled a little bit, and barley missed stepping in the puddle while she looked at the beautifully dangerous flower. And was just as quickly on gaurd for snakes, squinting at the vines and listening for and peculiar sounds. "Is there any thing in the jungle that can hurt us?"

Lloyd nodded and chuckled. "I don't blame you. I don't think I could leave something if I spent a lot of time on it." He said smiling kindly, "Well it's a perfect time to experience something for the first time." He snaked his way through the vines and paused to let Sophie catch up. "I've heard that there are some small predators in here but I've never come across them." He said with a shrug.

"I couldn't agree more. Nice days were ment to be spent exploring." Sophie giggled at her sentence. "I kind of rhymed there for a moment." Blue eyes inspected every thing and took in as much as they could and ended up lightly bumping into Lloyd. Her atention snapped back to the helix in front of her and her eyes widened. "Oh! I am so sorry. I didn't hurt you did I?" She walked around to his side so she could see his face.

Lloyd nodded and chuckled. "Couldn't agree more. And yes you did kind of rhymed." He said letting out a small oomph as Sophie bumped into him, "It's quite alright. I'm not hurt at all. Something that small wouldn't harm me." He smiled at her and moved forward. He glanced around seeing if there was anything interesting to point out.

"Lloyd?" She questioned, pausing for a moment at a bush with plump, red berries she'd never seen before. "What kind of berries are these? Can I eat them?" She turned to look at him over her shoulder in question when she felt something smooth sliding across her paws. Her body went rigid as she slowly looked down to see a snake making its way over her paws. It was a large snake. A high pitched, panicked whisper escaped her. "Lloyd?....Lloyd!"

Lloyd looked back at Sophie and then to the bush. "Hm.... I can't remember what they're called but I do believe you can eat them." He said facing forward and taking a couple of steps. He stopped when he heard her panicky voice and turned to her. "What?" He said eyes zooming in on the snake, "Oh dear. Stay calm. Don't panic. Slowly take a couple of steps back and try to gently get it off your paws." He was carefully stepping towards her in case he needed to take care of the snake.

"Its touching me!" Sophie whispered, having to tug her paws from under the snake. She felt its smooth scales shift and brush through the fine hair on her paws. One both paws were free she jumped away from the snake, scurying over to Lloyd. She looked at him with wide blue eyes. "Thank you." She looked back over at the snake, who seemed very much comfortable to make its way into the berry bush. "So...um about this temple?" Sophie was ready to forget the passing ordeal, looking at Lloyd a little longer before she faced the direction they had been going when she got distracted.

Lloyd tried not to smile or laugh at her freaking out over the snake. "It's alright." He whispered back as she moved away from the snake. He smiled and nodded at her when she came over to him. "You're welcome. I'm just glad it didn't get violent. I hate having to fight." He said moving away from the snake and heading towards the direction of the temple, "Yes? What about it?" He looked back at her with his head tilted.

Sophie was blushing over the ordeal, or maybe it was the odd fluttery feeling she got when he whispered at her. She wasn't sure. "Um, how long untill we get there?" Here eyes darted around looking for cammoflauged snakes or any thing like it. She shyed away from some rustling, but it turned out to be a rabbit, which made her ears go forward. Blinking and shaking her head she grinned at lloyed. "I hope you aren't bothered by me being here...though I suppose if you were you wouldn't have invited me in the first place." She looked at her paws, wich were definatly going to need cleaned.

"Hm....." Lloyd said looking around, "It shouldn't be much longer. We should be there soon." He was starting to move forward again but stopped at what she said last. "Bothered by you being here? Of course I'm not bothered." He said looking at her concerned, "Why would you think that?" He looked at her waiting for her answer before moving forward.

"I have a horrible time misunderstanding others and their body language, so sometimes I have to ask. The last time....well the last time I ended up with my shoulder bitten." Sophie grinned and trotted on, happy that she wasn't causing this helix any trouble. She was also very happy that he was so nice to her. Things were easier with nice helixes.

Lloyd frowned as he listened to Sophie. "That is a problem. One really needs to understand body language if they want to survive." He said, "Otherwise situations like what happened to you happen." He was still frowning as he began moving on. He passed a double tree with one trunk before speaking again. "I can tell you about basic body language that others will have but I won't be able to tell you anything more than that." He said. He winced and squinted his eyes as he walked out into a bright shaft of light. It seems that they had reached the temple.

"Well I guess it should have been obvious when he was so nervous and jumpy, but I figured he was just lonley. Besides he was half starved and didn't smell very nice." Sophie narrowed her eyes to squint against the sudden burst of bright light that assulted them. She blinked furriously trying to grow accustomed to the light, her tail swaying to the bursting excitment in her chest. "But I can't help but try to be nice and helpfull to every one." She shrugged, it was in the past and really, it was no big deal. She turned and looked at Lloyed with a grin on her face.

"Well you really can't change that about yourself if you want to be nice to everyone." Lloyd said smiling, "At least you can learn from the past and apply it to future experiences." He blink a couple of times before growing use to the light. He looked at the old crumbling building and then at Sophie. "Well we're here. What do you think?"
