"Not really. Well, I can make assumptions, like... if there's snow out, I know it has to be cold outside, but other than that..." Sei shook his head. His predictions were rather hit-or-miss, as he had just demonstrated. This was a rather odd subject - in fact, he had never told anyone outside his guardian's family. He was pretty sure not even his mother knew, and he had no idea how the two would really react to it.
"Im a bit... different on that front, you could say."

Raven didn't seem to mind, or think it was that odd at all. She just grinned, pointing to her own skin. "No worries. I think we're all a bit different, don't you? I have fur... you can't tell the temperature." To her, it was all the same, really. No one was truly "normal" in her mind.
"She's right," Omi stated, smiling to him.

"I guess so." Sei couldn't help but smile at her analogy, turning to look at her and, at last, looking down to see that she was holding his hand, one eyebrow rising slightly in surprise, and giving two little twitches of one finger in acknowledgment. Overall, he didn't really seem to mind.
"Beside, if anything, fa'e are far from normal, aren't we ?"

"Some are," Omi said, looking down at the plain skin of her hands.
Raven huffed, frowning softly. "Oh don't start that crap again, Omi," she answered, reaching to tug on her sister's arm without letting go of Sei. "You're still far from normal, you just look more normal than you did. I still don't know anyone else who can tell where I went when I left the house by touching the doorknob."

"You can do that ? Really ?" Sei perked. "That's awesome ! More useful than what I do, at any rate. I just make shields, amuse little kids with the orbs, and play remote Warcraft." He shrugged.
"Though... Maybe it's weird, but, most days, I think ill'd rather be normal, to be completely honest. Even if only for one day, just to see all im missing."

"I'd kill to be able to play remote Warcraft," Raven muttered, but the smile came back to her face almost immediately. "Then my brother could get off my a** about being too slow when I'm doing five things at once."
"You two and that game," Omi chuckled, shaking her head. She never did get the hang of that thing. "And yeah... I can touch things and tell what's happened to them recently." Sometimes, also not-so-recently, but that didn't happen as often.

"So it's like objects have a memory of those who touched them ?" The blonde seemed definitively interested into knowing more on the matter, looking at Omi with wide, curious eyes. "I had no idea."
"It's not really that useful." He grinned at Raven. "I can't concentrate on anything else when im doing it, so multitasking's moot."

"Everything remembers," Omi said, smiling a bit. "It's just a matter of how long it's been. The longer since the contact, the less clear it is. I sometimes see things before they happen too, but it's so vague, I can't ever really tell what it is." She remembered when she had gone with Riven... and the resulting confusion she'd felt about herself and her abilities when she'd returned. That was something she needed to try and work on again. So much had faded when Levi had been born, and it wasn't just physical.
Astaroth was another that she would have to find... the dark Fa'e had started her training in weaponry some time ago. Hopefully he hadn't forgotten her.... or thought she'd given up.

"That's really interesting." He answered her explanation, along with a nod of the head. "Though I figure it could get annoying if one can't control it too well... Ill'd probably go nuts."
The blonde gave a laugh, then stopped, eying a small clearing along the wood path they had been following. "Do you two want to stop and sit for a bit ? Im not really in a hurry myself, and well... if the day is that nice, you two should take advantage of it, no ?" A smile crossed his features.

Raven stopped, blinking as she peered into the clearing, then a smile spread across her face as well. "Sure!" she answered, the scent of water in the air. Pools were nice... but this would be much better. "C'mon Omi!" She started forward then, tugging on Sei's hand and her sister as well.
Chuckling, Omi just shook her head and followed. "Crazy," she muttered fondly, knowing full well that when the foxcoon got something in her head, it was harder than hell to remove it. Besides, they'd been planning on hitting up the pool later, they DID both have their swimsuits on. "Hope you wore something you don't mind getting wet," she told Sei, following along behind them.

Sei gladly allowed himself to be dragged along, though he was helping himself a little, to be completely honest. It was doubtful the foxcoon would have been able to pull him along otherwise.
At Omi's statement, however, his attention darted to the lake nearby in the distance. Surely they did not mean to have him go in here, didn't they ??

"WOOHOO!" Raven finally released Sei's hand... only to strip off her top and out of her skirt. Underneath was an orange and yellow bikini swimsuit, but it was a relatively modest one. As Youko was fond of saying: 'At least it's not a hairtie with string'. Kicking off her shoes, she turned to Sei and Omi, reaching up to start braiding her hair. At nearly waist-length, it tended to get nasty pretty quickly when she went swimming... or slept with it down. "C'mon!"
Omi was laughing by this point, picking up the discarded clothing and setting it aside as she did the same with her own. Her violet coloured suit was a bit more modest, but there was only so much you could do with a swimsuit. If you didn't want to be seen, there were always t-shirts. It was a one piece, with what appeared to be a 'tug' of fabric around her waist and a clasp at the side. It would be a bit before she was comfortable enough with her body to wear a two piece... but then again, she HAD just had a baby.

Oh dear gods she ain't....
Oh, whew. There was something underneath. Though, for once, Sei could probably be very glad subconsciously for his naturally vacant stare, because, well, no matter what, a man was a man, especially one that was seeing a woman in a bikini.
He enjoyed the view, of course.
The blonde somehow managed to let his bag tumble on the ground, and take seat on a large rock, which... he apparently seemed intent of staying on.

"Oh hell no." Raven started towards him then, tying off the braid and flipping it over her shoulder in a style reminiscent of her father. "You are not sitting on a rock when it's this gorgeous out. C'mon."
Omi watched, bemused with a tiny smile curving at her lips. Her gaze flicked between Raven and Sei, sticking for a moment on him. Her face is up about another foot, she mused inwardly. Even though his eyes had no pupils, Omi could tell just about where he was staring. Well, well... he WAS a bit more human than he maybe thought he was.
Raven had reached him by that point and tugged at his sleeve. "You're coming in too."

"I... don't think that's a good idea." He somehow managed, sending a glance at Omi, practically begging for help - not aware that it was a lost cause.
"Im fine here, really !"
