-Vanilla- eXe Jeepers. I wish I had a car. And deer. And Netflix. At first I thought it was stupid because mail takes forever, but then I stayed at my boyfriend's house for a week while his parents were gone and they really get those movies to you quickly. I'm sick so I haven't really gone anywhere or done anything all weekend/week except today I went to the dollar store with my mom and got these two amazing tupperware things that I'm gonna use as bento boxes.
Sorry about your car and your nephew!
You'd like a car, a-and a deeeer, but they don't play well with each other. sad Don't think too much about it, you'll have the car in a little while. smile Netflix is pretty great, but everybody gets cabin fever--the real kind of cabin fever, not the Jack-Nicholson-hungry-dog kind, though. I hate not going out a lot, but thank god for the internet. Nephew's cool, car will live. I'm searching salvage yards next week for a rear tail light to replace the bad one. Yay fishies, by the way. What kind do you have??

Horror Inc.I used to have 2 betas, but they've passed. I stick to the fluffy things. Emeraldisdead has like twelve cichlids and they're fun to watch when we're hanging out. They change color when they're pissed, so sometimes more fun to watch than TV.

That's awesome. I'm getting cichlids I just can't find the ones that I want anywhere. Fish are def. more fun than tv. That's why I keep so many. I just set up my brother's tank today and I'm trying to convince him to get Kuhli loaches.

Just bought a new iPod classic! Woot! It's only got 120g, but my old MP3 was only 20g so in way I'm really, really upgrading. My old MP3 player's software became obsolete with the upgrade to Vista and I found it a pain in the a** to try and coax my old/dying computer into running for more than fifteen minutes in order to put music on. Of course when I wanted to transfer the bulk of my music library I had to go through the same process and THEN transfer it to my external hard drive, then to my computer, then to iTunes. The whole of the process took about three hours. But did I mention I got a shiny new iPod?
It's the pretty matte black one. But I ended up buying a case for it because the back is so shiny and shows fingerprints like crazy. This bother me. My shiny computer does the same and I am constantly wiping it down with to remove the offending fingerprints. Must have clean electronic devices! The case is of course Crimson red. Nice.
I know what you iPod people are thinking, "Why didn't she get the touch?" I've heard this question one too many times and it's starting to frustrate me so here's your answer. I don't want a touch. The touch costs twice as much as the classic. Plus I'm one of those weirdos that likes buttons that you can click. I own a DS (and I'm not upgrading to DSi because you can't play gameboy advanced games) and I play the games that use the buttons more than the games that use the stylus. I don't know....I guess I'm old-school. PS2 rules!
Okay, maybe I have a Wii, but that was a Christmas gift. But I do play it a lot, but I play my PS2 more. Strange.....

My two nemesis'. Apple and Vista. -Hisssssssss- When I first got a laptop, it was vista. I hated it. It was slow and laggy. Then I accidentally punched it because I was mad at my boyfriend and the hard drive crashed. So I got another one. More memory. More Ram. Also vista. Even slower and laggier than the first one. So then I went back and said to the computer guy 'Hey, why don't you find me an XP like I asked you MONTHS ago when I first came to buy a laptop?" And he did. And it works. And it works FAST. With less memory and ram than the two Vistas had. But it's fast. I'm not fooling myself, it's 3 years old. It will die soon. But I love it.
Regular DS is better. The only difference worth noting with the I is the inclusion of two cameras. I'm with you on the buttons, they rock. And ps2 beats out nextgen systems any day. I have one of those and a 360. I like them both but I wouldn't waste any money on a ps3.
My stupid crayfish ate one of my guppies today. She also clipped some finnage off my remaining guppy, so I moved him back into my main tank. I'm selling the crayfish and buying my poor guppy a new brother, maybe a girlfriend or two. I used to hate my guppies but they kind of grew on me and now I'm really sad that the other one is dead.

I don't mind Vista now that I've figured it out. And turned off some of the more annoying features. My laptop is actually a quite expensive one and works a lot better than my old one. Of course my old one was a Toshiba.
Poor fishies. I used to have beta fish. My mom cleaned the bowl a few times and killed the first two. That's when I told her only I was allowed to clean the bowl. Then one day my beta that I'd had for two years was missing. The bowl wasn't upset, the plant in place and everything. My cat looked very suspicious as she sat in the corner and cleaned herself.

Aww, poor fishies. We keep all "prey" type animals in rooms where there are no cats allowed.

Smart idea. Some fish are just bitches and can't fight for anything. Emerald can't put the cichlids in with any other fish because they'll kiss the poor creature. She had to replace the first sucker fish she put in the tank because the cichlids pecked its' eyes out. The same with the second, so she decided she didn't need to have anymore of those. . . >.>;;; They're like rabbits with sharp, pointy teeth!

It's kind of funny to see twelve fish crowded around one corner of the tank. They won't do that to anyone else in the house though. When I'm gone they just hide when someone else feeds them.

What type of cichlids do you have emerald?
=3 I feed pond snails to my Dwarf Puffers. They go nuts whenever I drop one in and suck them right out of the shell.

Horror Inc.They are African Cichlids. To be more specific I have 5 Labidochromis sp. "Hongi" (SRT) and 6 Cynotilapia sp. "hara".

Emeralds fish are fun to watch late at night, in the dark, while watching a horror movie....or was that The Dark Knight. I don't remember. But they change colours. Kind of like a LSD trip with out the bad side effects.
