While Chris was trying to find a way out, John had sheathed his blade and was now slowly looking up and down the rows of books in the old library. If we were in Ally's subconscious, then all of these books must be her memories. Makes sense, right? Frowning a bit, he reached for a book, but stopped himself. If it were him, he really wouldn't want other people peeking around in his own memories. Still, he wondered if there were things here that even Ally had forgotten...

Tenkou mitsuru tokoro ni ware wa ari, yomi no mon hiraku tokoro ni nanji ari! "Oh come now...don't tell me you want to leave us," a voice as smooth as velvet said from an aisle near where the vampire stood. From the shadows stalked yet another form of Ally...one with laced, heeled boots and a magenta skirt that was a just a little too short. A seductive smile tugged at the corners of her lips as she strode with confident steps, hips swaying with every movement. "Please," she cooed in a pouty tone, "stay with me, baby." Delicate fingers stroked Chris' scarred cheek.
"Oh, brother...not again, Lyr," Tel sighed, pressing her index and middle fingers to her temples. She was growing slightly annoyed, to say the least...
Icy blue eyes peered up at John from a shelf level with the floor, studying him silently. Despite her quiet and reserved nature, the mute slid out from the shelf--against her better judgement--and stood behind the raven-haired intruder. She hesitated, wondering whether or not to tap him on the shoulder... Ideyo, kami no ikazuchi! Kore de owari desu! INDIGNATION!

[I'm not a bad person...]"Ah..." Chris recoiled slightly and brought his right hand up to his face; he wasn't accustomed to physical contact. His expression flickered for a moment, and the discomfort was gone; he was still a little skeptical of his surroundings, but the shock of the immediate encounter had worn off. With a renewed vigor, he turned to address the pink-skirted woman who had touched him. "Well," he replied slyly, "Lyr, was it? It's not that that I want to leave, per se..." Chris paused for a moment, lowering his cutlass to a less threatening position as he thought out his approach. "I just like to know the lay of the land. This is partly your mind, right? I know I wouldn't mind getting to know you inside and out, your entrances and exits... so please, just indulge my curiosity for a moment." He made a careful allusion to his first question, glancing over at John with a pleased expression. This was certainly quite a discovery... [...I just have bad luck.]

John thought he felt eyes watching him, but he disregarded the feeling as he studied the spines of the books. They were all written in some ancient scripture that he could not for the life of him decipher. They must be Angelic. It would make sense, considering Ally's heritage. As he saw the different books, the urge to read them made itself known even more in his mind, what would the point be?
Chris had been doing a lot of studying with Lyndexer's Journal. Maybe there would be some similarities between that and the books in this library.
"Hey, Chris. Any chnace you help me-" He turned his head over his shoulder, only to see someone that liked a scantily-clad version of Ally getting all up-ons with his best friend. John's eyes widened as his face began to turn a shade of red. He wanted to tear himself away, he really did. He really, really did. With a bit of effort, he turned his gaze backed to the books and locked on one random title. Hopefully, they'd stop soon or maybe... maybe he could lead himself away.
Keeping his gaze on the shelves, he sidestepped a little further from the intimate encounter...

Tenkou mitsuru tokoro ni ware wa ari, yomi no mon hiraku tokoro ni nanji ari! A delighted smirk graced her lips, and she let out a short laugh. "You want to know me, hm?" she hummed. "You can explore all you want..." Despite the vampire's reaction to their previous contact, she leaned closer and closer, her eyes fluttering shut as she attempted to place a kiss on his jaw line.
"That's quite enough, Lyr!" Tel shouted, finally losing her patience. She would have doused the pink-clad seductress with a nice cascade of ice cold water...but her close proximity to Chris prevented the aqua mage from casting said spell. Curses. "I'm sure what you're thinking is not what this fine gentleman had in mind!" At least, she hoped not...
"C'mon," the lazy one spoke up, speech slurred as per usual. "Let 'er do wha she wans...," she muttered, dozing off once again, wrapped tightly in her green blanket.
The silent one shied away from the captain's movements, hiding away in an abandoned shelf once again. Still, if she could at least find out what he was looking for, she may be able to help him. Her lack of speech could present a problem, but...
A shaky hand extended from the shelf, poking the stranger shyly on the foot. Ideyo, kami no ikazuchi! Kore de owari desu! INDIGNATION!

[I'm not a bad person...]"Sorry," Chris said to Lyr, holding up his hand. "Can you hold on a moment...?"This was all rather interesting, but the lack of an exit was making Chris increasingly concerned. He didn't want to end up stuck here, after all. It seemed like none of the girls could stop fighting long enough to give him a clear answer, though. The avoidance of the subject was causing him to feel uneasy... Somehow, Chris didn't think that repeating the question would get him an answer. He turned to John, who was looking over some of the books - perhaps he could deduce how to get out of here. "Hey John," he quipped, calling over in his comrade's direction. "Not that I'm in a hurry to leave, but can you figure out where the exits are or something? I don't want to be stranded here, is all..." After passing the buck to his captain, Chris felt a little more relaxed. John could look into it, he told himself. No worries. His attention had once again been captivated by the pink, seductive incarnation before him. "My apologies... where were we?" [...I just have bad luck.]

Sure. Of course. How was this any different than any other day? Let's just throw the problem at John and go and get all cozy with the ladies! Scowling at Chris again, who was becoming increasingly familiar with Lyr, John turned back to the books, only to feel a nudge on his foot. Looking down, he found a robin's egg blue cloaked individual poking his shoe.
"Uhm, hello." he said to the girl quietly. "Are you another side of Ally, as well?"

Tenkou mitsuru tokoro ni ware wa ari, yomi no mon hiraku tokoro ni nanji ari! Lyr let out a sound similar to a purr, snaking her arms around the vampire's neck. "So, your name is Chris...a wonderful name befitting of a man like you." Oh yeah...thanks to John letting slip his companion's name, Lyr decided to use that as ammo in her big charm guns. "Being here with all the others is so trying sometimes...but now you're here...," she murmured with a slight pout of her lips.
Emily, the mute, nodded her head in response. She tapped her throat with her fingertips, hoping John would get the message that she couldn't speak. The only person she knew of who could understand her completely was Tel...but the water mage was off trying to calm Ira and Llama down, as it were. Idly, Emily began to wonder where Mony and Trice were at the moment... Ideyo, kami no ikazuchi! Kore de owari desu! INDIGNATION!

[I'm not a bad person...]Chris sighed. Looks like his name was out of the bag... so much for anonymity. He shot a glance over at John, but it was too quick to be noticed. Ah well, there was no point in getting worked up about it now; there were other matters to attend to. "Now that I'm here... now what?" He raised an eyebrow at Lyr. Usually John was the one getting all the female attention... this was a nice change. Still, it was a little suspicious... he'd have to keep his wits about him. But, he rationalized, perhaps entertaining Lyr would get him some information, or something along those lines. Truth be told, he didn't need a lot of convincing to play along... Since this was her domain, though, Chris thought it would be wise to let Lyr do the leading. [...I just have bad luck.]

John saw the girl tap her throat. Ahhh, he understood.
Sore throat. Pity.
"Uhm... okay..." John said a little louder. "Do you have a pen and a piece of paper? Or maybe someone could talk for you?"
Geez, why was everyone here so difficult to communicate with?

Tenkou mitsuru tokoro ni ware wa ari, yomi no mon hiraku tokoro ni nanji ari! Lyr sighed lightly, her mood suddenly shifting. Her magenta eyes glanced toward the floor as she leaned into Chris, resting her head on his shoulder. "I don't want Ally to take you away," she muttered as her fist tightened on the fabric of the vampire's shirt.
"Don't get your hopes up, you whore; she's going to do it anyway," a new voice, laced with cynicism and bitterness, snapped from a distance. Atop a bookshelf was perched a figure clothed in a rich indigo cloak. She removed her hood swiftly, shooting a scowl at her promiscuous counterpart. "It's happened to her so many times, after all."
A shy smile tugged at the corners of the mute's mouth. Why hadn't she thought of paper a long time ago? Well...she wasn't the brainiac of the group, anyway. Emily crawled out from the shelf, only to cower back in as Trice's sharp voice echoed through the air. She couldn't help but shiver at the sound. Cyan coloured eyes glanced up at John, almost pleading. Ideyo, kami no ikazuchi! Kore de owari desu! INDIGNATION!

[I'm not a bad person...]"Whoa..." Chris felt the tension coming from Lyr, and it caused him to stiffen as well. He shifted, trying to get her to loosen her grip. "Watch the merchandise, please..." He turned up to acknowledge this new person. There was another one? How many girls were around here, anyways? "I'm afraid I'm a bit lost," he said with such plain honesty that it almost pained him to voice it. "Can someone elaborate, please...?" He looked over at Lyr. What had caused this sudden mood shift? Women were unpredictable, but there could be more to it than that... [...I just have bad luck.]

What was she looking at him for? John didn't carry around writing things on his person. How was he supposed to communicate with her?
But all that went to the recesses of his mind when he heard that voice pierce through the air. Geez, who pushed her off the wrong side of the bed. Smiling reassuringly at Cyan, John walked back to the group, listening to what would happen between all the Allys...

Tenkou mitsuru tokoro ni ware wa ari, yomi no mon hiraku tokoro ni nanji ari! An unsettling smirk slid across the bitter one's lips. She still remained the only one of the personalities that could actually shut Lyr up--something she made use of quite often. In fact, every one of her counterparts held some sort of fear of her...even Tel, though she didn't show it as much as the others. "You want answers, hm? Why should we tell you anything, scum?" she asked Chris, her tone venomous.
Emily crawled out from the bookshelf, standing on wobbly legs. She peeked out around the corner of said shelving unit, watching the scene unfold. When the brooding personality, Trice, showed up...things never went well. No one dared to stand against her. Ira's temper always dissipated, Llama became much less hyperactive...and Sue, the laziest of them all, even awoke from her slumber. Emily was afraid to see what would transpire... Ideyo, kami no ikazuchi! Kore de owari desu! INDIGNATION!

[I'm not a bad person...]Chris squinted up at the dark one. Charming. "I don't know why you would want to tell us," he said honestly, "and I don't know why you wouldn't want to tell us, either. At this point, I can't pretend to fathom your motives. We've only just gotten here, see, so I'm just trying to piece things together so I can figure out what's going on." He brought his free hand up to his chin, stroking it thoughtfully. "However, if you all are incapable of helping us, I understand. John and I simply thought that, this being your mind and all, you might be inclined to lend us your aid. Perhaps we can reciprocate the gesture, if possible." Chris cocked his head to one side. "You're sharp, I can tell - you know that it would be easier for all of us if we colluded." The nerve of this girl, calling him scum. However, Chris knew he had to bite his tongue and govern the conversation with rationality. He had to ignore her baiting and lead her to where he needed her to be. The dark girl's first impression had given him a snapshot of what kind of person she was... hopefully his careful dialoguing would have the desired effect. [...I just have bad luck.]
