Thanks Dr. Whatsit & Eirwyn, I'll have to try this BG thing out to speed up my gold production. Especially since I'm supposed to be working on another manuscript. ninja
But, heck, I'm not getting paid by the lab anymore, so it's not like they can fire me or anything.
I'm going to miss doing those acronym and haiku word games.
Edit: Booty grab did the trick. Mission accomplished!

O gosh, aquarium phishing sounds nasty... pun totally intended.
What on earth does GCD actually stand for??? Every time I see that all I think is 'General Common Difference' ... /math nerd FAIL.
I wish I could somehow get a load of gaia cash, the decorations and fishies are so cute!! At the moment my aquarium consists of everything given out by the daily chance D:
Also: YAY! Hairy Preist is Hairy Preist again! Also, I can't remember if it's spellled Preist or Priest... I'm guessing the former because of the 'i before e except after c' rule, but english has exceptions all over the place...

GCD = Gaia Community Discussion forum
You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy... no, wait, I think I'm getting that confused with something else. Nevermind.

Hairy Priest GCD = Gaia Community Discussion forum You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy... no, wait, I think I'm getting that confused with something else. Nevermind. ... I used to like the GCD. I still do, but not as much as a while ago. It's still rather friendly, but you have to know where to go. The GCP sub-forum is kinda cool. That's where the Gaian Theater Company (acting group) thread is that I'm part of. biggrin

^ Actually, that was a reference to Obi-Wan Kenobi's description of the Mos Eisley Cantina. I must be getting old if it's now passé to randomly use quotes from films like Star Wars, the Godfather, and Monty Python and the Holy Grail during everyday conversations! gonk

Those films are just as relevant to our everyday life as they were back when they came out!

^^ A kindred spirit at last! My faith in geekdom humanity is restored!
^ Don't worry, we all still love ya. It's just that a sci-fi fan who hasn't seen Star Wars is almost like a football fan who's never watched a Superbowl.

I will see it though. I'm determined to find time this summer. It's just that my family went crazy over it before I ever got into science fiction (just movies, I love books). And they like some things to the extreme, like country music, talk radio, and football games. I tend to go insane from overexposure, so I don't usually like what they do.

Not big on country music, but one of my former co-workers from Texas played this song a lot in the lab last Christmas: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P37xPiRz1sgWe kept referring to it as 'that redneck Christmas song'. Fun times. This thread sure has deviated pretty far from its original topic... sweatdrop
