Roarke regarded Azalaea thoughtfully.
"I was kidding about the pet names, but let's see how many I can think up. Hrm.. Shamefully, what immediately comes to mind are those generic embarrassing ones like cupcake and such."
Roarke shuddered.
"I prefer those that are more.. affectionate in nature.. Like if you're going to refer to your partner, referring to them as 'my love' or 'my dear', although I would rather use the former.
Hrm.."
Roarke glanced at Azalaea, curious and slightly embarrassed as to what Azalaea's answer might be to his next query.
"What kind of pet names would you like? More friendly ones, or perhaps, more...
...affectionate ones?"

Azalaea chuckled and nuzzled him. "Oh look at you, getting all embarrased..."
"Well, at least you're wanting to put thought into them. I think that's all that matters."
She grinned mischeviously and nudged his side. "So does that mean you're finally saying you like me?"

Roarke shuffled nervously before looking straight on at Azalaea.
"Perhaps I am finally saying that. What then?"
He watched curiously for her response.

((Don't worry bout it...Hey! You think I got most posts because DS checked before you could reply in here? I mean its not like I do much else in terms of RPing...xD ))
Azalaea smiled and scooted a bit closer to him.
"Why, then it would cut in to us being friends...But I think I can let it slide this time." She gave him a small wink.
"And if that is the case, you'll have to come up with a pet name for me, and quick...I don't think I can bear to be called by my true name by my one and only lover!" She said all this with an increasingly dramatic moan, but she ended up sputtering and laughing out loud. "I'm sorry," she said between chuckles, "I shouldn't be laughing, this is serious," and after a moment she calmed herself down.
"It is what it is, I guess. If you like me, then you like me. I definitely like you...But then again I haven't had much experience on dating." She gave him another small wink, then nuzzled him with her head.

Oh gosh, your post is hard to reply to.. Azalaea is getting poor Roarke all confused. Is confusedly a word? :3 Apparently it is, according to some dictionaries! Woahhh.. ))
Roarke stared confusedly at Azalaea, trying to process what she was saying. His faced began to clear as his began to get the jist of what Azalaea was saying.
"You know, I wouldn't want you to feel pressured into liking me, just because I like you. Of course, if you'd rather just stay friends... "

Azalaea lifted her nose indignantly, saying with heavy sarcasm, "You think I'd let some old man pressure me into liking him? Have you no faith in me?"
She smiled and scooted right up next to him, settling down with a sigh. "No, I would like it if we could be more than friends as well. And since you obviously like me..." She let the sentence trail off, as if it would complete itself.

(( Not good to know! Since I got so confused all I could do was leave Roarke ambiguous. ;w; Poor Roarke!!
We need to find out more affectionate actions than nuzzling, I think. ))
Roarke snorted scornfully.
"I'm not old. There is only a few months separating our births."
Roarke shook his head in annoyance, before settling down next to Azalaea. He eyed Azalaea mischievously.
"Are you always going to be this frustrating?"
He laughed before rubbing his head affectionately against hers.

((Agreed. ^^; But seeing as how their mobility is a little more limited than a human's, it might be a little difficult. Like Azalaea! xD ))
Azalaea laughed. "I know, silly. I was being sarcastic."
She glanced sideways at him and smiled. "Only when I'm around you," she said lovey-doveingly. (if it's not a word IT SHOULD BE!! xD)

Dragonfly Garden: (Hrmm.. I wanna try this action but I don't want it to sound wrong at the same time.. xDD Oh! Just realised, dragons couldn't lie on back, wings and spikes get in the way.)

Roarke laughed, nudging Azalaea slightly with his body. He glanced at her and stood. He nudged her curiously with his nose.
"Hrm... Where would a young lady like you, like to go?"

Azalaea chuckled a bit as well and got to her feet.
"Well, since you asked so politely," and with that she was in the air, racing away from Roarke. "You'll just have to catch me and force it out of me!" she called back to him as she flew away, laughing.

Dragonfly Garden: Roarke shook his head, before launching into the sky. He twisted and turned in the sky, stretching out his body and his wings, enjoying the feel of the wind against the body.
He glanced around for Azalaea, locating her to his left. He grinned and made for her, using an updraft to speed his journey.

Azalaea twirled about lazily in the air, waiting for Roarke. "Old age finally catching up with you, eh? Or are you just tired?" She teased.

Roarke rolled his eyes and within a few beats of his wings had caught up with Azalaea. He circled her lazily.
"Me? Tired? I could continue on for weeks. How about you? Tiring yet, Azalaea?"
