My opinion is that it's real. It'a a virus. People do get it. But for the most part it's flu. a flu that the media blew out of proportion.

Swine flu's been around for what, a month? And it's killed twenty-six people, si?
REGULAR flu kills around 21,000 people per month.
Still got a bit of a ways to go, hasn't it?
'sides, they're just sensationalising it to draw public attention away from the economic crisis and such.

Ummm... swine flu. Wow. When I went to the gym the other day, there were a bunch of signs up saying that you should clean the equipment up after you're done using them, because "the Swine Flu pandemic is nothing to laugh about". Judging by this thread, though, I guess it is, after all? XD
Personally, I could care less. I'd prefer to go about my daily life than worry about Swine Flu. And I usually don't check the news that often, so I went "O_O" when they first mentioned it.
Bit early to call it a pandemic, though. I mean, the outbreak started like... what? Last week? Two weeks ago? Three weeks ago? XD
