"But... If they did end up crippled, you'd have done worse than killing them." Othello spoke up at his explanation. "And shouldn't you keep your tail in good condition anyways?"
The painter calmly stood to his feet. "They can ridicule me all they want. I won't sink to their level. Or even lower, for that matter. They can wallow in their ignorance, or choose to become wiser." His eyes, once again, looked the way he'd been going. And his feet slowly started taking him there.

"Maybe so. But a bit of trauma helps build character does it not? I suppose that's another thing to find out whenever I go about with these experiments," he said with a bit of a laugh.
Kyuran watched as the pan'lun got up to his feet and started to slowly walk on off. For a moment, he pondered whether or not he should start off his series of tests right now. But he decided against it. He still needed to rest a little longer, and be in good enough shape to continue on his travels. Not knowing the strengths of this other painter, and outright attacking could lead to a few unplanned setbacks.
"An odd on you are. Don't let the trees attack you again."

Othello glanced back for a few seconds, but did not stop moving. The farther he got from this painter, the better he'd feel. Funny, how he hadn't even learned his name. Though, he could remember this one. Not just from his colors... But his attitude.
He said nothing to the tree comment. And, while he thought about wishing him luck, he decided it would be in his best interest not to.
