1-15-06
I made pancakes for breakfast this morning. Chae enjoyed it and ate three servings! Afterward we hung out in the living room. It was so nice. I love having him back at home.

Chae came home with a bloody, beat up face! He told me he ran into a tree, but I knew better. I hate being lied to, he could have just said he didn't want to talk about it.
Anyway, I found out that he had been in a fight with another pae! I asked him why? He knows I don't condone violence for no reason. He told me it was to see if he could protect me. I told him that he didn't need to prove that, I know that he can protect me.
I took care of him and watched over him all night. He said he wouldn't fight again and I really hope so. I won't tell him what to do, though. I'm not his Mom, I"m his wife and I love him and respect his descions.

I don't know why, but my relationship with Chae just gets harder and harder. I wonder sometimes if he really loves me or if it was just out of convience.
I hate those thoughts, but they pop alot lately. He wants to fight again, I would love to tell him not to, but I feel it's nice my place. If he loved me he would just KNOW not too!

2-3-06 A cute male fae child has stummbled inot my garden. I wonder what brought him here?spookyx7 "I bet they'll love the two of you. I do." He smiled and kissed her cheek. "We can get seeds to start our own garden and then we wouldn't have to get food from them all the time." He smiled and slowly stood up. He tested his foot. "I think I can walk if you want to go." Teigra Takeko blushed lightly. "Alright...that sounds like a plan," she murmured, standing quickly as Aspen did so. "Only if you think you can, love. I'm here to lean on if you need me, or you could fly again. Don't forget."Cabel grinned happily, jumping up and bouncing around the two adults. "YAY!" The possibility of meeting more Paes, especially Dada's parents, was irresistable to the child. He dashed over, taking each of his parents' hands and squeezing between them. "Let's go, let's go, let's go!" He giggled, brimming with energy as usual. spookyx7 "I think I'm ok. It isn't too far a walk. The live in the Fae Clearing, well, righ on the edge anyway." He put his arm around Takeko to help him walk. "We're going, calm down sweetie." Aspen laughed at the child's enthusiasm. Teigra Takeko nodded, helping support Aspen's weight as he needed her. "You're right...not far. Plus, it would be nice to see the clearing again," she smiled, thinking back. Was it really all that long ago? It didn't seem so.Cabel giggled, forcing himself to calm a little. He couldn't help it. He was excited. He tugged gently on their hands, urging them to get started.Laughing, Takeko winked at Aspen. "Guess we should be going then..." spookyx7 "Yeah, it's such a beautiful place." He loved it there, but also loved where he made his home with his family. Aspen chuckled at Cabel, "Yes, I guess we better."
Aspen slowly started to walk leaning on Takeko and holding Cabel's hand. It didn't seem long before they neared the Clearing. "I hope they're home." He said with a laugh, where would they be? Teigra She laughed as well. "I hope so too. I'm looking forward to meeting them." Smiling warmly, Takeko turned and kissed his cheek. "Afterall...they have such a wonderful son..."Cabel grinned, looking around and eagerly taking in all the new sights. He hadn't been far from the riverside yet and this was a fantastic new adventure for him. spookyx7 "You're sweet. I bet they love you." He said and kissed her cheek. "I'm sure Mom is in the garden. Her garden is amazing." He rounded the corner and there was the garden. It was in a greenhouse now, that was new. "Hmm....a green house."Ivy sat in the garden growing things and working as usual. She loved her garden so much. Not as much as her family that missed greatly. She didn't notice the new little family yet. Teigra Takeko beamed at the compliment. "A garden? Oh, I can't wait to see it!" So many other Paes that shared her love for plants and nature...it was almost unbelievable. She looked about eagerly, spotting the greenhouse and growing more curious. She'd never seen one of these before.Cabel blinked at this new building. It was big...and what was it exactly? He pulled away from the adults, curiosity overwhelming his young mind as he dashed headlong into the garden, giggling."Cabel! Get back here!" spookyx7 "It's a great garden. She has control over plants, which means she can growing anything if she asked." Aspen laughed, his Mom had long conversations with the plants. "I bet you guess hit it off real well." Aspen watched Cabel run. "Wait up!" He limped after with Takeko.Ivy heard a giggling and look up to see a fae child running straight for her. "Hello? Who's this, then?" Was she a magnet for children lately or what? Teigra Takeko frowned, torn between hurrying after the child and helping Aspen. She settled for trying to keep Cabel in sight and helping her love for now. "Careful, love. We'll catch up with him in a minute. There's nothing dangerous around here afterall, is there?" She was worried too, but she had to balance her worry between both her men...Cabel grinned, catching sight of this new Pae. Was this Dada's Mama? He skidded to a halt in front of her, tilting his head cutely as he tested out his improving communication skills. "Hello! My name is Cabel!" Then he blurted, "You're pretty!" spookyx7 "No, nothing dangerous." He laughed, "My Mother loves peace and happiness, no dangerous plants will be in there." He smiled and contunied into the greenhouse. He suddenly felt a warm tingling. "I must really be excited for Mom to meet you, I'm so warm."Ivy sat up and smiled at the little child. "Well, it's nice to meet you, Cabel. I'm Ivy. Thanks." She smiled and heard noises behind the Cabel. "Who did you end up here? Who brought you?" She felt a warm sensation rubbed her arms, weird. Teigra Takeko giggled, the warmth washing over her body like a blush, only accompanied by a slight tingling feeling. "Well, I suppose that makes two of us then." She leaned in, kissing his cheek and unsure why she suddenly felt so close to the Pae at her side. Perhaps it was because it was the first time they'd been alone even for a moment in a long time, but maybe she was just drawing from his strength to soothe her nervousness at meeting his parents. Who knew?Cabel smiled at the nice lady Pae. He liked her. "I came with my Mama and Dada!" He pointed behind him where Takeko and Aspen were just coming into sight. He shivered slightly as the warm tingle raced down his spine, then giggled 'cause it felt funny. spookyx7 Aspen smiled and stroked her hair. He looked up at his Mom, "Hi, Mom....this is Takeko and that is Cabel." He was suddenly nervous. What would his mother say?"Mama and Dada?" She looked up at her son and this other pae. She stood up and smiled, "Oh, Aspen! I'm so happy to see you!" She ran over and hugged him, "Takeko? It's lovely to meet you." She hugged the female pae with a smile.

A page of Ivy's journal seems to have been taken over by a magic force. Neat scriptive writing of an unnatural glowing gold slowly appears on the page, forming a message specifically for Ivy. It is a Quest, and if she so chooses to accept this Quest, she will be granted the ultimate reward; the rare and coveted Elder form.
The message reads:

Dearest Ivy,
We the Guardians have been watching you, and we are impressed by your prowess with your power! You are farther along than most Pae'il are in the use and strength of your abilities. So be happy to know that your quest will not be a test of your power, as you have already proven it!
It shall be a test of your character!
You need to seek out the estranged member of your family. Her life is in danger on the center of the lake. When you find her, your path shall be revealed to you.
At no point during this quest, may you use your wings or powers. All communication with your family is also prohibited until you find your daughter. Once you sign this page, you are not allowed to look at, speak to, or touch your family until that meeting.
You have only 3 days, Ivy. You must not delay, for finding your daughter is only the first step. The rest of your path to becoming an Elder will be made clear at that point.
We will be watching, and hoping for the best.

There is a space left at the bottom of the page for Ivy's signature. If she accepts her quest, she must sign the page.
((Notes: You will have 2 places were you will need to pause your RP and wait for a prompt. The first is right before Ivy makes it to the center of the lake. You must wait for the NPC prompt. Following that prompt there will be a short interaction with the NPC before you are solo in the quest again. The second will be explained during that time. A PRP thread has been created in the main guild forum to use for your Quest. It is preferred that your quest be RP'd there to make it easier to follow and read, and not disrupt the flow of your journa.))

Ivy sat down and opened her journal, she wondered what was so important that couldn't wait until after she met her son's love. She looked at the page, the one she hadn't wrote on, her heart started to beat fast.
At first she was excited and then she became devastated. "I can't do that! I'll die!" She through the journal and fell over on the bed raked with sobs.
She couldn't go in the water, the last time she did she would have drowned had it not been for Aspen. She cried for what seemed like hours. "Why would they do this? Did they kidnap poor Mal? How did Mal get into this situation?" She only thought of Malaika, she had repressed the memory of her other egg. Chae had made her give it up and it hurt so much she couldn't think about it.
"If Mal is in trouble, I'll have to help her...." She sighed and shakily picked up the journal. "I guess, I have to do this....even if I die in the process...." Ivy took a green pen and signed her name. After ward she ran out of the house and down to the lake, not glancing at her family, she knew she couldn't. I have to do this Chae, I hope I'll be back... A small, cottonball - like cloud can be seen puttering down from the sky, a gift for Ivy nestled ontop of it's soft whiteness. As it lands gently on the ground, the cloud dissipates, leaving the gift behind.

It's been a while since I wrote in here. I'm an elder now, and I had to work my butt off to get that way!
I was happy to be home and see Chae and Aspen again! I think Chae was happy to see me as well.
Aspen and Takeko had twins just the other day! They are both very pretty and I guess I'm now a Grandma.
Right now I'm watching Aspen and Takeko's other two children, Cable and Kane. Two different personalities there.
I wonder how Adriel is doing? Maybe I should go look for him...

I met up with Adriel the other day. He has grown so big! He is very hansome and I'm so glad that he's ok. We had a very nice time talking about different things. Reminicing on old times, like when he told me rolly pollies were berries! It was nice to see one of my adopted kids again.

I thought being an elder would be hard work for the rest of my life. Instead I hang out in my garden everyday. I miss my children and wonder what they are doing everyday. I'm really missing Chae as well. I wonder what he has been up to lately. Maybe, I'll find him?

Chae and I have been entertaining our grandaughter, Mei Lien. She's already falling in love, isn't that sweet? She liked hearing the story of how Chae and I fell in love. I liked hearing him tell the story too, it was nice. I really enjoy having company.

Chae and I had a lovely visit with Mei Lien. Now I'm working out in my garden as usual. I think Mal may come by. It will be nice to see my daughter again, I miss her so.
