A small, cottonball - like cloud can be seen puttering down from the sky, a gift for Mo nestled ontop of it's soft whiteness. As it lands gently on the ground, the cloud dissipates, leaving the gift behind.

Where Have They Been?
Catching up with Momoiro and Drucilla

Its been an incredibly long year for the former members of the Posse of Chaos. They did not leave the 'organization' but rather, it left them. After Mo's haitus from his family, he started realizing he needed them, and Dru needed her mother's. He knew he was selfish in what he had done; taking Dru and hiding from them. But when he was ready to repent, and he went searching for his former lovers and other children. He searched for the better part of the year, without success.

He made the decision that they were gone. Where, he wasn't sure, but he was angry enough with them that he didn't care one way or the other. Part of him hoped their death was gruesome, but the humane part of him hoped they just found greener pastures and moved on.

When the high winds hit Telrunya a couple months ago, Mo and Dru took shelter in the cave they called home. Despite the cave being connected to the only volcano on the island, it was still cool enough to keep Mo healthy.

It was when the island touched down in the sea, that near-tragedy struck the father and daughter. The cave they called home collapsed while they were sleeping safely. The magic that protected them kept the rocks from crushing them, but once they woke up, they were trapped. And now, the heat from the volcano was unbearable. More so for Mo, who's sensitive to heat.

It took the pair near a month to dig themselves out of the cave. They finally emerged, starved and in pretty bad shape. They'd survived on the food that was stored previously. It was quite by accident that they stumbled upon it, but they were grateful nonetheless.

Mo was very weak, and his colors faded slowly. Dru knew it was the heat effecting her father, so she had to find a cold place to take him. She herself was worn out and weak, but her father's life was on the line so she did all she could.

Drucilla found a cave in the snowcapped To'ul Mountains that was very cool and seemed like an idea alternative for them. It was far from her beloved Dragnid, but that wasn't as big a concern right now.

The pair settled in, and Dru took care of her ailing father till he was better.

----

Now that things are nearing a sense of normalcy once again, Dru's been venturing out, exploring the island and taking in the changes. She's not quite sure how to handle the change, as the salty air and water has changed a few of her poisons, and effects some of the boiling points. But, she's adjusting.

Mo has been able to get around again, but the heat of the new tropical setting is definately taking a toll on the ice pae. He's been venturing into the City since it opened, looking for alternatives to their housing. He knows Dru won't like it, but the City seems to be safe and cool enough for him, at least compared to the island.

(( yay climate controlled city ))

Powerless

Mo lost his power.

It's not exactly obvious why it happened, or even how it happened. Mo and Dru theorize it has to do with the climate of the isle changing, but its still hard to figure out.

As the days went on from the move that put the two pae in a dark, cold cave in To'ul Mountain, gradually Mo was able to stay out longer and longer in the warmth of the day. It wasn't something that even was noticeable until one day, Mo was out sunbathing; something he used to do with Letha before his power got stronger. He started reminiscing about those days and why he didn't do this anymore and it had dawned on him. He wasn't getting ill being in the heat!

To test his assumption, he returned to the cool cave and attempted to frost it over. Nothing. He tried freezing the ground. Nothing. He tried freezing some standing water and that didn't even work.

Mo first reaction was anger. Why had the Guardians taken away his power? He cursed their name in every way he knew how. The cave was trashed, and even Dru's make-shift lab was destroyed in Mo's fit of rage.

He was feeling useless. Powerless. His power, at his strongest, proved to be his greatest asset. He could defend or fight with it. But now ... he couldn't even turn a glass of water cold.

---

It was after a few weeks of moping depression over the loss of his power that Mo realized that now that he could be in the heat, he didn't need to live in that disgusting cave.

Weighing the options available, he presented some ideas to his daughter since he knew she didn't like that cave any more than he did.
