This fall I will be in a metal/jewelry smithing class and ceramics. I was wondering if maybe we could have sections for those or maybe not since it's probably not that common of a thing. When school starts again I probably won't be on as much since they are studio classes and will probably eat up most of my time.

Alas! our crafts section I believe, will be the place for all of that. I'm excited about seeing some action in that thread. I have a project that I may or may not be doing.. depends on how much in shape I can get because that's a big part of it.. after that comes the craftiness. I have until Halloween to get it done.. or else I shoot for halloween of next year. Hopefully I can do it this year though smile .

Pyramid Head from Silent Hill. I have to make myself a couple feet taller, fashion a giant sword for myself that is bar friendly, make the blood stained butcher's apron, the big metal pyramid helmet, and then I gotta get some body paints for the airbrush and figure out how to make my skin look cadaverish. But this all depends on what kind of shape I'm in here in a few months. No one wants a fat pyramid head.

Platform shoes might help you for the height thing. That's really awesome, one of my friends is a huge fan of Pyramid Head. I never had the system required to play it so I've missed out quite a bit. I have watched the walkthroughs on youtube.

I think I can make the shoes actually, wouldn't be too hard. I got some old boots that I can rig some platforms to. Be a whole lot cheaper. The games are a lot of fun, and I thought the move, although lacking a little, was beautifully done as far as special effects go.

Wow... Bri, you're a nucking futball dude. hehehe I so want to see this when you're done. Then I want you to come up here and help Eric and I with some DIY projects.
I'm going to be adding pics when I can afford materials for crafting stuff-- I make medieval jewelery and beaded wears, I want to get into low-impact metal working (actually, I'd love to forge and smith metal and learn swordplay, but I'm being practical at the moment). And hopefully once things settle a bit here, we'll be going nuts with doing nifty craft things.
Did I post pics of the modded Nerf guns we did? We need to redo them with plastic-adhering paint, but I can start the ball rolling with that.

Well I'm bummed.. I'm not sure if I'll be able to even get started on my Pyramid head costume.. kicking my shitty room mate out for various reasons(such as having to hound her for rent every month, and the fact she's a lying sack of [insert noun of choice here]) so money's gonna be stretched even further which means... no fun projects of that sort unless I win the lottery before october.
I..am completely drained at the moment. Mentally and physically. So I apologize for not being on Gaia much at all. I'd like for everyone to add me to yahoo or aim if they've got it, that way I can be reached a little easier maybe...

Damn hon, I'm sorry to hear that. I know you've been having problems for a long time. I hope it works out in your favor though.
If it makes you feel any better, we're having roommate problems too. We just got two problematic people out, but we have a stuck up, self absorbed drunken skank of a princess who's elitist and a slob on top of it.
Thankfully her daddy pays her rent, otherwise I think we'd be in the same boat.
Chin up my friend, it has to get better, right???

Well.. as for getting better or worse.. eventually it will. But according to the way randomness affects the world, we could be stuck on a "getting worse" streak for a little bit before that happens. Astonishingly our garbage disposal decided to...develop holes all thru the sides of it haha.
At least your crappy room mate has someone payin the rent. Mine we damn near have to break her legs Mob style to get anything. She's perfectly fine screwing us over all the time... and she'll string together lie after lie after lie like you wouldn't believe. (she took the screen off her window and was sneaking in and out of the house. This all started when we left on vacation. We came home, saw that.. were pissed.. first time I asked about it, she acted shocked and said the neighbor kids must have tried to break in. I didn't tell her about her garbage being thrown out her window... so I knew she was full of it. Well then she tells my sister she lied to me about it cause her cat ripped the screen, and it's hidden behind her dresser. She was at work, we retrieved said screen. Not a single freaking hole. she says she replaced it.. she has the receipt... we point out the splatter of paint on there and tell her how amazed we are that they sell screens with paint that matches our house.. next lie: I like to lean out my window and read cause I like fresh air..
It's 100 degrees at least during the day.. and at night there's no light at all outside on that part of the house. I honestly think she's a meth head.)
