Shen smirked slightly, the small sad voice was adorable coming from ivy, almost childish and funny really. It was cute, and yet it was sad to think that hed almost gotten himself tricked by her. Was he really so easy? Chee..yes, so insanely easy and gullible. "Lumi seems rather sweet actually" he sighed blinking in surprise.

It was hard to imagine but it made sense "I suppose opposites do attract, it must be fun having someone at your side to be with, to challenge you." he shrugged, making himself a place in the grass as he knelt down to rest "Honestly..I don't think I'd mind trying ivy out sometime. Mmnn, though I don't enjoy being a play thing.." he couldn't help it, he was curious, and she was interesting.

"I think I might, I'm not really the forceful type though, maybe if im lucky you'll come to me?" he said playfully, truly it was only a joke, that grin, it told it all if he wanted anything from ivy either hed have to work hard or play dumb..ahh..it made her appealing though.

"She was acting normal before?" he asked surprised chuckling slightly before taking a drink of the cool water before him, watching the two talk. It was like a little show, watching an angel and a demon snip at each other. "She does seem a bit cold..but then again you seem fiery, I cant say that I mind" he nodded slightly "Your welcome" he smiled graciously giving lumi a slight nudge "You two, your a confusing pair you know, I cant hardly read either of you"

Ivy snorted. "Not likely, I haven't COME to a guy in a long time, well with one exception, and you're not that exception. If you want me to come to you, you'll have to give me something I want, otherwise, no dice." Ivy then preceded to lower her head and groom at her back, bending her neck, making it curve. Everything she did, she did with purpose, curving like that made her look elegant, obviously why Shen found Lumi so appealing. "And as far as how I act, very few people ever see the real me, My mother, and Lumi are the only ones. EVER."She added in such a matter of fact way, but also in a way that it almost seemed like an after thought.

Lumi shook her head, tousling her hair as well. "trust me after a while..." She stopped, her ears catching the sound of Heret running through the brush. She lifted her head quickly and looked around, trying to listen for him. She smiled softly like a young doe in love, she giggled slightly, lowly, girlishly as she heard Heret call out for her and she felt her eyebrows crease slightly as she heard Balin was with him as well. When they broke through the bushes she stood up calmly and trotted over to Heret, making her footsteps loud and clear until she was right in front of him, a breath away and she nuzzled into the side of his head. "I'm right here Heret, don't have a heart attack." She rubbed her nose against his before pulling away and taking a step back, "Come meet a new acquaintance, Shen."

Heret sighed in relief and nuzzled Lumi back with a smile. "Tell me before you go off, please?" He asked her quietly before lifting his head and flicking his ear toward the sound of the other herlas. "Shen, huh? It's nnice to meet you." The herla said with a smile.

Balin meanwhile, gave Ivy a wink before he moved over to her side. "You being mean and stealing the poor boys hearts again?" He asked lightly in a teasing voice as he smiled at the green doe.

"Its nice to meet you too heret" shen said happily realizing that his smile was useless to the buck..oh dear.."A love doesnt seem like a ball in chain, heh cant be a burden if you really love someone right?" maybe ivy didnt have a heart, though he could tell she was only teasing, he couldn't help but look at the spotted buck again, so interesting looking...Blinking as she mentioned the leading part, wow he was blind and yet he'd managed to survive? Very interesting..

Giving a small nod to balin in greeting as well "Yes cute..I could say you were drop dead gorgeous, but I dont want to tempt that ego of yours, it may eat me." shen teased softly as he stepped closer "You cant say your not cute! All women have some cute quality's to them..ah..I think.."

Ivy scoffed at Shen and poked at Balin with her front leg. "Shen darling, if my eago ATE you, you'd thank me for the opportunity. and as for you Balin, you're just jealous that I don't show an interest in you. AT ALL." She smiled wickedly and walked up to shen before rubbing up against him and walking into the water, her back hips swaying provactively before she began to drink from the water again, completely ignoring Heret altogether.

Lumi sighed and shook her head. Nuzzling at Heret lovingly, "Don't you worry darling, I know you don't always fall in holes, you know you don't always fall in holes, and that's all that matters." She nuzzled at his neck lovingly and pulled away slightly. "But for right now we have to go and herd Ivy off from the pack kay? you take one side, and I'll take the other, come on." She motioned her head, not that Heret would see it, but it was just a normal thing for her to do. She brushed up against him innocently to let him know that she was walking away now and trotted out and into the water. "Do me a favor," She said quietly into Ivy's ear. "When Heret comes up, don't let him accidently walk into you ok?"

Ivy chuckled under her breath and shook her head. She would, but only becuase Lumi asked her too.

"Ego, Shen, ego." Balin warned before he rolled his eyes at Ivy. "Why should I care if you take interest in me? There are plenty of other pretty tails around. You're not worth being jealous." The buck stuck his tongue out at the doe before turning back to Shen. "Yes. I'm Heret's older brother and he and Lumi have been together for awhile now."

Heret laughed, shaking his head as he headed towards Ivy "Pissing her off isn't going to help anything Balin." The buck smiled and moved toward the green doe with Lumi at his side.
