"I'm awake," she mumbled, fidgeting her paws half-asleep, "'m 'wake..." Her thoughts drifted back and forth as she wavered between sleep and wakefulness and she finally snapped to her feet with a start, "'m awake!" She looked around anxiously, wondering if she had been out long and if the tide had come in.
Noticing that the sand her paws were nestled in was still dry she calmed her slightly panicked nerves and focused her searching gaze to finding where Faunus was speaking to her from.
"I hear the sea," she said, twitching her ears as she located him next to her, giving him a quick scan to make sure he hadn't gotten any more hurt while she had let her attention waiver, "We should be close te th' tide pools if'n it's out; maybe I kin catch us sum vikkles se we kin get sum energy back."

Faunus had leaned in close to listen to Savvy as she mumbled, he concerned. When she jolted he yelped and jerked back, scooting a foot or two away from her and breathing heavily with adrenaline. He blinked a couple of times as he tried to slow his breathing, and twitched his ear. He, now suddenly at a loss for words, simply nodded and scooted back over towards her.

"'M sorry," Savvy said, dragging herself to her feet and forcing herself to move forward, "'Tis my fault we're in this mess." If it was the last thing she'd do she'd get them fed and dry and back on their way home in no time. She should have been able to keep them safe somehow, she was the one who had jumped into stream and gotten Faunus wet. Her eyes hardened and her walk steadied as she determined to find food and find it now, "Are ye alright goin' on lyke this?"
