Badassi scowled and shook his head, his tattered ears flapping slightly as he did so. Clearly this buck was a few leaves short of the flayrah, or something or other. Still, he seemed harmless enough, if only a little eccentric.
"Ray it is, I am sure I remember. Keep on carrying on loudly and I'll have to scold you thoroughly, I'm sure.. And I hope you find our warren to be a pleasant new home for you, Amberstone. You seem to be a fine buck. If you ever have questions, let me know. How long have you been here?"
Annoyance was clear as he glanced towards Ray, away from the lightly hued buck to which he was speaking to.

The golden buck made a few hops around because he was beginning to feel his legs tingle. This always happened when he was the topic of a conversation. He didn't like it. He didn't like being the centre of attention at all. He'd rather just stay around and talk about others but talking about himself couldn't be avoided since he was new to the warren. He knew that rabbits could think many things about him and his family and he was the one to prove them wrong... and the best way to do that was a nice and friendly chat with well-picked answers to questions regarding him and his family and their arrival to Watership Down.
Amberstone smiled at Ray and then looked at the owsla. "Ahhhh, it is, it is, officer! Me and my family like it a lot in here! All of you are really kind!" then he suddenly went quiet thinking if he had any questions. He had none- this warren was truly a great home and everybody was so friendly. Stone loved being surrounded by friends and this definitely would happen in the near future. He just knew it.

Ray was still staring up at the tall tree that grew over the burrows, a small smile on his face as if he was being told a great secret and knew he wouldn’t be able to keep it to himself for long. Blinking slowly his ears twitched as he stared at the tree branches, watching the leaves move about in the morning breeze. Then suddenly, he jumped as if he had just sat on a thistle, and hopped around to the other side of the two bucks, smiling strangely as he did so, “Ah! I ask ye; What is it that is always found in water, but never gets wet?” Weather he had deliberately ignored the officer’s words or not was unclear but evidently he hadn’t taken any notice.
((In my next turn I think I might bring in one of my other rabbit's to liven things up a bit, if that's ok with both of you? ^^ ))

The sturdy, gray lapine was the pictue of utter confusion as he watched the striped buck that posed the odd question. He wasn't one for riddles. In fact, he found them a waste of time.
Not being able to answer one, however, made him feel almost inadequate.
"I am glad you and your family are happy here, Amberstone. Now, do you know the answer to Ray's odd question?" He danced around trying to answer himself, as he did not want to appear to be a fool.

Stone made a few small hops. The conversation with the owsla was going pretty well. The buck really wanted to give a good impression especially since he was so new to the warren and was always careful with what he said and did. Actually, he had always been the one who tried not to upset anyone but now he had to try even harder.
He had absolutely no idea what his new friend was talking about. Ray's words were hard enough to understand without him asking silly questions. Amberstone looked at him, then at the owsla and smiled trying not to look stupid. "Well... Honestly, I have no idea, sir!" then he turned his head to look straight at the storyteller's eyes "Can you please explain what you meant?. He was still trying to smile but he was a bit mad at Ray because that might have made the buck look stupid in the owsla's eyes.
