The brown lioness shook her head, sprinkling more water droplets onto the already wet ground from her soaked hair. She hadn't really met many males. Adults, that is. Just her father, but he hadn't looked very poofy or fluffy when she had met him.

"No, not really," Amanzi admitted. It wasn't her fault that Taku had been around her 24/7 so that she couldn't possibly go meet other males. "No, it doesn't look like shaking it more makes it better. Maybe it would help if it stopped raining a little bit," she giggled.

And then, miraculously, it stopped. Not immediately: the rainfall slowed a little, to a sprinkle, and then vanished all together. The sky was still its usual dark color, but the thunder now rumbled miles and miles away, taking the rain with them. Sighing happily, Amanzi shook her coat out to try and get herself as dry as she could. Water sprayed everywhere, even though she had taken a few steps away from him so she wouldn't get him even more wet than he already was.

As it slowed he looked up and then looked back at her. "looks like you have the voice of rain, or something. It seems to be dieing down." He tried shaking again, still it made him look funny, but at least now it could dry. "or the rain god heard you" Urza didn't beleive in gods, but he knew others did. He didn't care weather or not they were really, anyways.

The smell of rain still lingered in the air, along with the smell of freshly wet soil. Which was stuck to his fur near his feet. Though, he didn't notice, nor didn't care.

Her? Talking to the rain god? And them actually hearing her speak? There was no way. Amanzi thought that the gods were too busy and too...high and mighty to listen and humor the wishes of mortals. Even if they were the ones the gods reigned over in the first place.

"Perhaps," she allowed, humoring him. The sprinkle now slowed down to only a few drops, here and there, and then the lioness felt the sun coming out to the side. The warm rays flowed over her fur and she could already feel the water leaving her. But she giggled again at Urza's fluffy mane. "Good luck getting it to look as nice as it did before. Though I'm sure it won't be too hard."

He laughed. "A days cleaning, no doubt" He replied to her joke, or at least that's what he saw it as. His hair would be matted by the time it dried, which meant lots of work on it to get it normal again. Though that wasn't a big deal to Urza. He still didn't care that much about his appearance. Seriously, it couldn't be that important in life. He saw how stupid other's acted if even a bit of dirt gets on it.

They were fun to watch, anyways. Good for a laugh or two. Of course, the ones like that were a bit rude, and had a odd way of using cruel words that were suppose to hurt him. It just made him laugh more. "Guess it's good to not be me at the moment." He added with another laugh.

She giggled, nodding. As thick as it looked, it also didn't look like a fun undertaking to clean out his fur and make it all pretty again. That was going to be a job and a half. She once wished to have such thick fur (she saw many lions at the sea pride with the curls and she envied them) but now, she saw, it could also be a bad thing. She had no idea how the sea lions got their coats to dry so quickly and easily.

"Good luck with that," Amanzi teased, flipping her head up to mean his fur. She tilted her head to the side for a moment, eyeing him. Then an idea popped into her head: she could offer to help. She did like him, really; he was nice to talk to and he was friendly.

"Although if you wanted, I could help. An extra set of paws is hardly a bad thing, especially with a task like that to do."

Urza laughed. "Sure you want a hair ball though? It could be rather a hassle" He said. Though if she really wanted to help, he didn't care. No one offered before, and he didn't really know if that was a good or bad thing. He wondered how fast two could clean a thick coat like his?

"Hadn't had anyone offer before. I guess most are afraid of so much work." He had to at least say that, since he wasn't really sure on what else to say. He did see other's clean each other before, and wondered if it was a family sorta thing, or if friends did that too? Assuming she was his friend now, he wasn't sure how those things went either.

Blushing now, a bit taken back by her forwardness and her offer to help clean his coat, Amanzi took a step forward as well, nodding again.

"I don't mind," she insisted gently. She really didn't. Yes, families did the same thing, and close friends, but if it was helpful more to a friend, then why should she not offer her assistance? Besides, she could reach spots that he couldn't unless he dunked himself into the water.

"It's up to you, though. I'm pretty sure I have to return back to my brother soon, as he'll start to worry and possibly come find me himself."
She rolled her eyes and smiled sheepishly at him. Sometimes, having Taku as a close sibling was ridiculous, and she didn't like it. Other times, not so much.

But right now, she wished she was living on her own and was only responsible for herself. That way, she could spend as much time with new friends as she wanted. Taku was worse than their mother.

Urza gave a shrugged, she seemed as if she really wanted to. "Well, don't say I didn't warn you." He laughed jokingly. He shook his fur again, this time it made it look like he was trying to be a porcupine or something. His long mane hairs didn't stick up like his body fur, it was too heavy to do so, and fell in a down word direction. At least that part would be easiest to clean.

He sat down and started to lick his paws, to clean his face. That was where he always started, anyways. Since she offered, why not do that now, since she was to leave soon. Normally he'd spend a few hours before a nap cleaning himself.

A-alright then. She would just start...somewhere safe, and easy, she guessed, and headed for the back of his shoulder. It was a good start, and closest to her, and then she could go from there. He would probably be able to get the other spots he would know best, but then she could easily reach his back and the tops of his shoulders, where she knew were hard to reach for her.

"I'll try. Although if I end up getting a mouth full of fluffy fur, I won't promise good behavior," she chuckled, her tongue slowly beginning with the fluffy fur at the shoulder until she built up a pattern, and then she began to clean him comfortably. Amanzi was glad he was sitting down; she wasn't so sure that she would have been able to reach him very well if he had been standing up like before.

It felt odd, another touching his fur, but it wasn't necessarily a bad odd. He gave a slight twitch, when she first started, but then tried to not worry about it. She was cleaning is back, alright. He laughed at her comment. "Well then, I suppose I should be careful then." He said with a paw raised he was licking. He soon started to rub it on his face. It took all of one minute to clean his face the way he wanted then he started on his leg. It was sorta matted, but nothing a good lick couldn't take care of.

He would be careful? Of controlling his own fur? Yeah, he should be. She glanced up at him and giggled when he missed a spot on his face. There was the smallest, matted spot on his bottom cheek, closest to her, right where he managed to miss. Amanzi paused in her cleaning to lean over and lick that spot clean, not realizing exactly where she had just touched until afterwards. She could feel her face flame up and then busied herself in continuing the cleaning of his back fur.

"You missed a spot," she explained in a mumble, mostly to herself to justify her own actions to her mind. Half of her was grinning and winking, and the other half was shaking her head and swooning from embarrassment. She ignored both sides and just focused on the task at hand.

Urza had to stop for a second after the lick on his face. It was odd, but he couldn't help but laugh. He always seemed to miss something or another. "Thanks" He just said trying to make the situation less embarrassing or uncomfortable. He cleared his throat, watched her for a moment, then went back to licking his leg. He still wasn't sure how to address it, or what to think. All he could do was, simply ignore it for the moment and continue on with what he was doing.

Being along for a while, did that to ones self. Made him unsure on how other's acted. For all he knew, this could have been just a normal thing. But then again, it could have also just been a one time thing. His tail tapped on the ground. Not in an irritative way, just something to do as he licked his legs, and watched the other out of the corner of his eye. After sure his front legs were good enough. He looked at her again. "Not too much hair for you?" He asked with a chuckle.

She laughed as well after a moment, just because of the sheer humor of the whole situation. How often, exactly, did this happen? She had no idea, and probably didn't want to know anyway. Her tongue reached the far side of his back, and she stopped, finding it a place as good as any to call it a good job. It looked like he could reach that spot anyway.

"I don't know, is there any on my tongue?" Amanzi stuck out the pink appendage and crossed her eyes to look at it herself. She couldn't see any white hairs, so hopefully it proved the same for his perspective. It would be awkward to explain to Taku, alright.

"Why do you have white fur in your mouth?" he would ask, a suspicious look on his face. She would roll her eyes and ignore him, but he would hound her and hound her until she broke and told him.

Then Taku wouldn't be very happy at all.

But, thinking of that, she figured it might just be worth it anyway, if there was any fur to be found on her tongue.

Urza looked at it with a smile. "No, I don't see any" He laughed. he looked at his back where she had been cleaning. "Say, perhaps you should have long hair, your not too bad at this stuff" He said. With a nod. He wondered if most females were good at cleaning. He knew he wasn't too bad, but he wasn't great at cleaning it. "I suppose I can do the rest later to night." He said with a laugh.

" Every where else I can get with no problem." He added.

Amanzi couldn't even begin to imagine how utterly hot it could be under all that hair. There was no way she wanted such a thick mane when she was perfectly content with her thinner one. Granted, it would help to keep her warm in the winter and other cooler days, but wasn't that what Taku was for most of the time, anyways? He was as good a heater as any, until she found the right male for her to keep her company. Then Taku would be all alone...

Oh well. He'd live. He'd probably go and find himself another lady friend; it hadn't stopped him before, even when Amanzi was in easy reach. Tch.

"Haha, nooooo thank you. You can keep all your thick, heavy, long hair and I'll just watch," she insisted, shaking her head and nudging him away playfully. But she nodded and glanced at the sun. It was already beginning to set, and as much as she disliked her brother at the moment, he would begin to worry anyway, and she didn't want him to start panicking.

"Well, I suppose I must go. It was nice meeting you, Urza. I'm sorry you got all wet, but I'm glad I could help you make it a bit better."
