"I think we should wait for Nattie." Joshua said. "She's supposed to ask her Mom for the tissue." He smiled, he really didn't need an excuse for waiting for his friend this time. He paused. "You know.. You really look familar." He said. "Before this--had I met you before?"

" Inside is fine but a room with windows would be nice" Morgan agreed, at least then he could look outside and imagine being out there, well minus the wet grass stuff, he had no desire to get wet.
" There's craft stuff at the front of the room" Rook pointed out " There's tissue paper there and we probably shouldn't wait , we have a lot to do." Beside he doubted they'd be done before the other members of the group arrived but if they waited too long they might never finish, theirr craft was sort of a long involved process. " and dawn shouldn't touch the nails" he warned.

Josh frowned, he really hadn't wanted to get started without Nattie. Rook had a point. "Alright, we won't wait." He said. "I'm sure Nattie won't mind if we get a head start." He took out a paper towl roll, and started to tape one of the ends shut. "And right, Dawn's a little young to be playing with nails." He agreed.

Speak of the Devil, and he shall come. Nataya was running along, her messenger bag swaying with each step. She hadn't meant to be so late! Oh, she hoped the others weren't too mad with her. She skidded to a stop close to the group, clutching the bag so it didn't throw her off balance.
"Sorry I'm late!" she said quickly, offering a sheepish, apologetic smile. "I got the paper, and I brought some glitter glue along too." she said, motioning to her bag.

Gal smiled in welcome at the winged girl. Yes, she really was getting quite good at smiling. "Glitter glue will be fun." She decided aloud. "Maybe you can use some of it to help decorate the cases I made? I tried to embroider them, but.." She shrugged, trailing off. Her abortive embroidery attempts were obvious enough.

((Arrrgh, sorry this is so late!))
Casia looked at the tye dye supplies and nodded. "We're still doing the cupcakes, I think." Jane was good at baking, and the siren was pretty sure that anything Jane was good at couldn't be that hard. "This is gonna be really groovy!" The siren had never actually tye dyed anything before in her life and the bright colours and wild designs looked right up her alley. The only thing she was worried about was that maybe to do it right, she'd have to have artistic talent. Considering she had yet to even master the subtle art of stick figures, it didn't bode well for the project if she did. The cupcakes were an out, just in case the project at hand was too hard, she wouldn't have to look like an idiot. After all, baking was just mixing things together, and she was pretty sure it required no artistic talent at all.

Rook's crimson eyes flicked over to Nataya and he smiled at her as a three fingered hand reached out to grabbed a cardboard tube and some nails so he could begin working. " It's fine, better late than never." As long as Nataya was ok and as long as she wasn't late again later there was no need to worry or cause fuss. Or perhaps he was simply too tired to fuss.
Still the boy's tail uncurled from his waist in other to playfully poke Gal and keep her cheery. her embroidery might not be perfect but at least she'd tried and that was what counted. He wouldn't have been able to manage it at all

Josh looked up and gave Nataya the a bright smile. He'd known she'd show up. "Nattie!" He said happily. "I'm glad you're here." He paused, and looked at Rook as if to say, 'I told you so.' "It's okay, you're not that late." He said.
He smiled at Gal to cheer her up. "Your embroidery's good." He said, "Much better than mine would be." He pointed out. "Maybe some glitter would make them look even better?"

Nataya smiled back at the group. "I like you're embroidery." She stated, looking at one of the cases. "Maybe we could use the glitter to make the stitching really pop out." She opened her bag, pulling out the multicolored paper and the tubes of rainbow glitter glue out as she talked, setting everything out.
