"Really? That's awesome! I wonder when my mummy will let me do that..." Cody wondered aloud. So far, every time he had been taken out to places, Shadai or Arytiss often stuck by him and never allowed him to leave their sight unless he was going to be watched by someone else. Like he was now with Tykier, yet his mother was still close by and probably watching his every move and making sure he would take anything...
Psh, like he really wanted plain old metal forks or the glass spice jars. They didn't even look pretty or have that shine the items in Ary's room had...

Tykier snickered a little, "The time will soon come along, Little One..!" He ruffled Cody's hair a bit.

Cody giggled as his hair was ruffled, enjoying the petting. Although the snickering did put him on edge a bit.
"What so funny? What d'you mean, soon?" he asked, frowning slightly, unsure of what he meant by laughing and what he said. He couldn't tell if the elder spawn was making fun of him, or laughing at an inside joke. Either way, he was curious and suspicious.

Tykier looked up(you can plainly see it, since he has only one eye), "Well, children like us seem to grow faster than normal kids... So, your time, when you're about my age, will come when you can come out of the house by yourself. Like a bird, or a kitten..!"

"Ooh... Make sense I s'pose... And waiting not so bad. It's fun, really," Cody replied, grinning. It was true, though. He didn't mind waiting and hadn't a clue why Ary got so antsy when she had to wait for anything... Out of the corner of his eye, he saw his mother getting up and preparing to leave. Butt he didn't want to leave yet! He was still talking with his friend!
"Why no one else think waiting not bad? It strange, really," Cody added as an afterthought. It was strange, he supposed, that no one else enjoyed what he did. Maybe it was because he looked different than everyone else...

As long as he lived, Ty was HORRIBLE at waiting... "I don't know, but I'm not that good at patience... I think it's just because I'm part Wrath..."

"Mummy says I'm part Pa... Pain... pation...patience and that's why I don't mind waiting. Wrath? What's that?" Cody asked, wondering vaguely what half of Ty gave him such pretty feathers...
"Come on Cody, time to go," Shadai said gently as she wandered up behind him in hopes of him coming quietly and without throwing a massive tantrum. No such luck.
"No! I want to stay! Please? Little longer?" Cody asked, remaining firmly in his chair and even going so far as to lock his fingers around the bottom edge, knowing full well Shadai wouldn't be able to pick both up. The older woman just sighed and closed her eyes for a moment.
"Cody, you'll be able to see Tykier again later, I promise," Shadai answered, hoping that would help get the reluctant child out of his seat so they could head off. It was getting a little late anyways and Ary would soon be wondering where they ran off to and if they were going to return. Cody just pouted, debating the situation for a moment. He could demand to stay, but that would get him nowhere while waiting to meet with his friend again later would be far easier. Besides, his mother had promised they would see each other again...
"Ok... See each other soon?" Cody asked, directing his question towards Tykier as he picked the feather up from his lap and tucked it behind his ear so he wouldn't lose it as he climbed down from his seat.

"Well, Wrath is the opposite of Patience because those type of people/spawns stink at waiting, and are angered easily," he explained as best as he can.
Tykier laughed, "Sure, we will. Remember! It's a small world!" Ty smiled, and patted Cody's back.

Cody nodded, being wrath didn't sound like much fun if you couldn't wait and got angry easily. At Ty's reassurance that they would, indeed, meet again the toddler grinned.
"Yay! I wait for the day, then, that we can meet again," the spawn said, grinning.
"Here's our phone number and address if you want to call or stop by. There's usually someone home most of the time," Shadai said, handing Tykier a piece of paper with both on it. If Cody was going to make a fuss about eventually meeting up with Tykier again, she might as well give him a way to get a hold of them. Yet, she could only hope that Arytiss didn't answer the door or phone when he did decide to come over or call. That would be disastrous...
Cody grinned, allowing his mother to take his hand to lead him out to their car. "Bye Ty! See you later!" Cody called, waving with his free hand as Shadai started to drag him to the door before their good-byes turned into another conversation and they were stuck there for another hour.

Tykier gladly took hold of the piece of paper, and wrote his own phone and address down on a different piece. "Don't worry on calling, either! I'll be happy to see how Cody's grown," he said smiling.
As Cody walked out of the pizzeria, Ty thought about what Cody was going to look like when he grew up. Thinking that, he got up from the table, paid the bill, and walked out, in the opposite direction that they headed...
