Pasha was taken to see a smile so big on Vyn's face, and her eyes widened in delight. What an amazing thing, to see a Raevan so reserved enjoy herself so much! Following Vyn's example, she chose a complimentary lead...pulling a purple one out of the box.

"I would love to take walks together! And you're very good company." Melisande blushed at the invitation, and set her new companion on the ground, clipping the leash on carefully. The little golden pug sniffed at the ground before turning around clumsily once, twice, and settling with a flop. Pasha giggled, and picked him back up, cuddling him close.

Holding him high enough to nestle his head under her chin, Meli cuddled the sleepy puppy, watching Vyn and her new friend. "Do you know what you want to name him?" Giggling as she got a lazy lick under the chin, Melisande's face squinched, curls bouncing. That tickled!

From the corner of her eye, Melisande saw the flower vendor heft her fat bouquet of sunflowers, and her smile faded. She'd forgotten all about the flowers, and she'd nearly emptied her pocket book already! "Uh oh~" She held the puppy close for comfort as it whuffed and snuffled, burrowing against her chest. "My flowers, I forgot!"

Vyn, good company? That was the first time anyone had said that after a first meeting. Normally others found her quiet observing manner unnerving or boring.. Although come to think of it, Vyn had been more outgoing with the musical raevan. As for the naming of the pup... That was something that had totally slipped her mind. She couldn't just let it remain without something to call itself. Her brain skimmed through possibilities. Names had to fit their owners. This pup had to have something short and bold to express his outward nature, however, Vyn was not sure of the naming conventions that applied to dogs. Were you meant to give them human names? Or make a name up? Or possibly choose a fitting descriptive and use that as a name - that had been the case with Squirt, the minuscule green companion she had once been carer too. Nodding to herself she chose the latter route of an adjective, a pleasant idea striking her as she mused over it.

"Thorn. I think he should be named that." She stated, rubbing his black head fondly. "I was buying roses before you spotted the puppies." She turned her keen black eyes to the other for approval, but found her glancing away; brows furrowed as the issue of payment for the flowers became prominent.

Swelling with joy that she would be able to start to repay the girl for her kindness Vyn delved into her own purse and retreived the wad of notes that she had been illing to pay for the puppy with earlier. Pressing a clump of the paper money into her companion's grasp - the hand less occupied by the dog - she rustled her own wrapped roses.. "Don't worry, that should more than cover the cost."
