Morgana reminds quiet for a moment, before closing her eyes. Within minutes, she was out of Torvil's arms and actually jumping from branch to branch ahead of him. Her eyes watching the wolf belong with alot of hatred, as she didn't trust them one bit.
Glancing back at Torvil, her eyes were blazing as she looks away from him.

Torvil chuckled and moved quickly to his wife's side, getting a bit more extravagant in his motions amongst the trees. His hands would help catapult him from branch to branch as much as he could. Finally he settled for just leaping from branch to branch next to his wife, his eyes keeping a careful watch on their new companions. While he trusted them only slightly more than his wife, he knew there was a line he had to draw.
He started to notice the pattern the wolves ran, they were herding them toward the edge of the wood.
He also noticed the elder had fallen back a bit more, and that worried him somewhat.

Morgana noticed the strange movement of the wolves also. Glancing at Torvil, she didn't say anything to him. She just leap down from the tree, landing on the ground. Glancing around, she instead takes off in a different direction then the wolves.
They were leading a direction she didn't like at all. So she would find her own way out of these woods.

Torvil chuckled and dropped down out of the tree line after her, knowing this was going to more than piss off the wolves. Catching up with her he runs in pace with her, looking behind them every so often as they dark through the brush. Already he can hear the howls of the wolves as they pursue to, more than likely, kill them.
He was not going to let that happen.
Forcing the power up from within him and out, he forced a portal into existence and he and Morgana ran through it...
... out into a meadow that was familiar but not. Once their feet hit the grass the portal shut behind them, leaving the howls to all silent.

Coming to a stop, Morgana glances back towards the forest before she shakes her head "They weren't going to lead us out of there were they?" looking to Torvil, she felt the anger rising once again as she thought about it. She didn't understand why, but she was finding her temper shorter then normal.

Torvil chuckled darkly. "More than likely not. I was hoping since it was a holy day for them that they would let us go and not defile their great hunt, but it looks like we had become the hunt." Shaking his head he got his bearings slowly and chuckled weakly. "And hey, wouldn't you know I'd port us to the middle of nowhere half way to Barton..."

Glancing around, Morgana chuckles before she brushes off her clothes "Not that far from Durem then I see." smiling, she pulls her hair up into a ponytail as looks around for a moment. They would be home soon, which meant they could go pick up their daughter.
Placing her hand on her chest, Morgana smiles before she takes a deep breath. She could feel all the stress leave her body as she thought of Nirendra.

"Yes, almost ho-" Torvil began speaking as he slowly started to move toward her. halfway through the sentence and mid-stride to boot, his eyes rolled back in his head and he collapsed hard onto the ground.
Slowly he regained consciousness a few moments later with a rough cough. "Ow... Did someone get the number of the bus that hit me?"

Morgana didn't see Torvil drop, she did however hear him. Turning to look back at him, her eyes grow wide as she grows paler. Moving towards him, she kneels down as she looks him over "Torvil, what in the hell?" her voice was way to high for her, and she was panicking as she looks over his body.
He wasn't bleeding, not from what she could see. He didn't hit his head, so why in heaven did he collapse on her? Feeling her lungs burning as she forgot to breath, she coughs a few times.

"Morgana love, breath please," Torvil chuckled weakly as he tried to sit up, groaning a bit as he felt weak as all hell. "I think that last portal just took a bit more out of me than I was expecting is all, I think I'm ok."
He shakily got to his knees and winced. Every muscle in his body was screaming for energy and rest. He looked to his wife and chuckled weakly. "Let's get out of here and find some food..."

Morgana shakes her head, as she place her hands on his shoulder "Sit, and don't say another word." even as she was talking, her hands were growing hot to the touch. She was giving up all the energy she had to him, just so he would be okay for a short while. As she felt her body grow cold, she force herself to keep going.
After a moment, her own eyes rolled back as her hands dropped from his shoulders. Falling backward, she was out before her body hit the ground. Her breathing labored for a moment, but then evened out. Her skin felt like ice to the touch.

The energy transfusion did wonders, but Torvil was worried about Morgana being so cold. Closing his eyes he picked her up gently and held her close to him, and started to make his way out of the wilderness and into the more suburban villages that lay on the outskirts of Durem.
After about an hour, he brought Morgana and himself to their old apartment, frowning as he noted that they had in fact been evicted, but smiling to note that his lawyer had been working still on his retainer and had managed to get their things shipped to another place that was not too far away.
When he reached their new apartment, he found an emergency key where it was usually placed and managed to get inside and tucked Morgana into bed.
Raiding the kitchen area for what little food there was that his lawyer had seen to leave, he went back to Morgana in the warm bed, and wrapped his arms around her.
If this didn't work, he would warm her the only other way he knew how.

Morgana didn't seem to wake, although her body was no longer cold to the touch. Breathing slowly, she coughs alittle in her sleep before turning towards him. Her hand resting on his chest as she coughs again, finding it hard to breath for a moment.
It was the downside to using to much of her own elements, her body had to try to balance back out. This often made her body feel as if it was sick.

Torvil waited a little longer, but when her cough did not improve he frowned, and slowly slipped out of bed, letting her hand fall to the warm bed he had just left. He was not gone long, and the sound of running water in the bathroom told the story of why he'd left. When he returned, he picked her up gently, and brought her to the bathroom. Taking the utmost care with her clothing he slowly stripped her down and placed her gently in the large bathtub full of steaming hot water. Resting his horns against the heavy ceramic of the tub he held her hand gently in his as he breathed slowly, falling into a light, trance like sleep.
Morgana might recognize this meditation if she were to wake up and see him, it was something he did when he was reviewing something he didn't have right on hand and was trying to remember things.

It was about ten minutes later, when Morgana eyes finally open. Her emerald eyes blinks as she looks around confused. Not sure where she was, she looks down at the state she was in then towards Torvil. Shaking her head, she lightly flicks water at his horns before she lays back again. Her eyes falling closed, she enjoys the warmth of the water dancing over her skin.
It had been so long since she had actually had a warm bath, that she forgotten what it was like.
