Intrigued, Zoysia listened intently. A running game?! She hadn't run for so long, it sounded exciting! Giving him a little nod, she winked, hopped up to him, and planted a nose kiss right on his little pale nose. "TAG!"She said, and took off down the hill at top speed. The wind flew through her clean coat, and she could feel the coolness of it on her sensitive skin. It sent shivers and thrills down her spine, and she dug in her claws farther, sure that the young buck would catch up with her in no time.

She was right about him catching up, as he sped along behind her quite quickly. He timed his spurts of speed and went at a pace he was comfortable with, all a routine he had worked on to help keep him ahead in life. He certainly didn't want to fall prey to one of the Thousand, like he had in the past.
Not many did so and lived to tell the tale.
He briefly thanked his stars that he survived and that this obviously healthy doe was taking the time to play and speak with him. Perhaps he could eventually win her over, even if it wasn't this season.
He came up along side of her and darted before her, to cut her off.

Squeeling and laughing, she darted to the side along with the handsome buck. They were now side to side, running around the warren. Trying to pull off the same trick, she dug in her nails, making a mental note to clean them later, and got ahead by just a smidge, enough to dart right in front of Hallowfell, only this time she went all the way around, turning back the other way, not even looking back to see if he followed, knowing that he would.

He turned on a dime, eager to keep pace with and impress this lovely doe. His tattered ears flattened against his back as his light paws thrummed against the earth and carried him speedily with her.
His thoughts were gone from Elil as he pushed himself to stay with her, neck and neck.
"Gotch'a!" He practically sang as he pressed his face to her side, doing all within his power to keep from falling over or pushing her as he did so at the speed they were both sprinting across the Down.
He twirled in an instant, shooting off towards the large, sweeping tree that towered over the warren.

Shocked at how quickly he caught her, Zoysia came to a sputtering stop as he darted in front of her. Cursing slightly as she felt the dirt dig into her nails and feet, she smiled. "You're a quick one arn't you?" She flirted, dangerously close to him. " It's too bad, sometimes the chase itself can be fun. " Giggling, she began to clean her feet of large chunks of dirt.

He grinned wolfishly as he slowed, then skidded to a stop. His mismatched eyes settled on her lovely form as he watched her clean her paws. He began to do the same, grooming his forepaws to clear them of the debris that they had gathered during the brief little game of chase. Her flirting was certainly drawing him deeper into the game of trying to win her over.
"Ah, Ah c'n tone it down a bit, unless y'd rather try 'n catch me?" He chuckled as he moved from grooming his paws to his tattered ear.

Giving him a sideways grin, Zoysia couldn't help but like the lad. He was energetic, which she enjoyed, and quite gorgeous, even despite having been in a few scrapes. "I think that if i were to chase you, we'd go on and on forever till one of us tired. We'd stir up the whole warren! " She laughed. The thought alone, all that attention, whether it be good or bad, on her; well, that was just an entertaining thought. Good thing she was trying to turn over a new leaf or that would be the first thing she'd do.
" I fear i'd never catch you. " She giggled.

"Th' ol' warren needs a good stir."
The buck gave her a wry wink and smoothed the fur on his stomach as he groomed himself. Truth be told, he was growing slightly winded by their little game, but he wasn't about to admit that. The multicolored rabbit still had energy to spare, but he wasn't as young at heart as he once was, before his experience with the two-legged, furless wonders.

Zoysia concidered this for a moment. Could the warren chase really be that fun? It had been so long since she'd been played with this seriously, she wasn't even sure she was up for such a thing.
"Perhaps another time. For now, tell me, What is it that you do with your spare time? When you arn't flirting with unsuspecting does that is." Zoysia giggled her usual giggle. She had a feeling that he was nothing but a big flirt, but she could be pleasantly surprised nonetheless. One never knew.

He gave a grin as his tattered ears flicked back. Perhaps she wouldn't go for it, but she seemed happy enough. Maybe he would have a chance in the future. He continued to groom his patchy, multicolored coat carefully and kept a wary eye out for any danger that might be lurking around the Down.
"Y'know, this'n'that! Buttin' 'eads with other bucks, keepin' an ear out fer juicy tidbits 'o news. I ain't been out much since I was a 'lessi, tell stories now'a'days. 'Ow 'bout yerself?"
