Natsuhi had no idea what Silarial had meant by her comments of Alucard- he seemed nice enough- but decided to take her word for it anyway. "Is it so late already?" she asked, glowing eyes blinking thoughtfully as she followed after the stone mare. The mare would need to get going soon, through she could probably stick around long enough to watch the sunrise with her friend. "I'm sorry to have kept you up so long, Silarial."

Silarial shook her head quickly as she toiled up the slope. This was harder than she remembered - had to be all that extra weight. Hopefully Natsuhi wasn't finding it too difficult.
"Don't apologise. Spending time with you is more important than sleep. Sleep... I can always recover. A missed visit from you, on the other hand, is more difficult to regain." She flicked her tail so it splashed across Natsuhi's flank softly, the closest she could manage to a friendly nudge while on the move.

Natsuhi smiled, touched by the other mare's sweet sentiment. "You're too kind, Silarial," she replied with a soft laugh. "I would have come again in time." In the meantime, was it just her, or was this a rather difficult trek? The view must really be something to be worth the effort of this climb, she thought to herself, determined to make it to the top.

As they reached the top, Silarial fell silent, simply enjoying the view. A pink, orange and gold-hued sky above, the waterfall crashing down below, and straight ahead, the sun itself, a giant ball of light and warmth reviving everything that had rested during the night, and banishing cold, darkness, fear.
"Beautiful," she whispered, very glad her foals would grow up in such a place.

"Incredible," Natsuhi agreed, eyes scanning the expanse of the horizon. It was truly quite the sight. As the sun rose higher into the sky, the glowing mare looked over at her friend with a small smile. "Silarial, thank you for taking the time to bring me up here. This is truly a beautiful home you have chosen."
She paused for a moment, enjoying the landscape a second longer. "Sadly though, I really should be going. Brajan's probably worried sick by now." That and she had slept even less through he night than her fiend had, so all she wanted to do was curl up by her mate's side and go to sleep. "I don't suppose you would mind if I were to visit again sometime, would you?"

"You're always welcome here," replied Silarial, her voice warm. "Best hurry back to your beau!
Come back and show me your foals, will you?"
She turned to her friend then, green eyes dimming in the growing light, her expression hopeful. Sure Alucard and Khalidia were family, but they were also a couple, and she always felt like the "extra". With Natsuhi there was never any "extra".
Besides, her foals needed playmates.

Natsuhi smiled and gave a nod. "Certainly. I may even bring Brajan along with me when that times comes. I'm sure we could use the extra set of eyes in watch the foals while we talk, ne?" The mare turned around to leave, but paused for a moment, looking back at her companion. "Say, Silarial, do try to locate this Cadeyrn sometime soon, yes? I'm sure he would appreciate knowing about his up-coming family." She gave the stony mare one last warm smile before cantering away. "Farewell, Silarial!"
