He was one wet lion. As she came over to join him he stopped rolling around in the waves so that he could be there to make sure she didn't worry too much.
"I have been here since I was a cub. It is the only place I would ever call home." There was no way in the world that he would leave this place, he loved the sea, he loved the sea air, he loved the sand, he loved everything about it. No he wouldn't ever leave, not ever.
"Come lay down next to me, really the water won't hurt you." He smiled at her softly willing her to get wet.

As he spoke Ico blushed. She sure was in over her head. With her right paw infront of her she wiggled over to him and rested nest to him, her eyes wide as she felt the water kiss above her maw a few times. She was slowly starting to enjoy this, but it was hard. This water that now held her softly now had one tired to ear her, after all.
but, this wasn't so bad... yeah, it wasn't. She smiled as she glanced at him and laughed.
"Thanks for making me do this."

He smiled as he watched her reactions as the water hit her. He was glad she found it okay, after all the sea was a big softie if you treated it right!
"Well can't have you living near the sea if you can't go in the water!" He chuckled a little and with his paw splashed her. He then stood up and ran into the water a little more.
"Come on follow me!" He looked like a playful cub and in some ways that was exactly how he felt. Now Ico has laid in the water he wanted her to play in it. It was easy enough and he would show her.

Ico smirked and wiggled after him, her paws splashing against the water as she doggy paddled to him, giggling. This was... really fun. This was... wonderful! She felt weightless against the waves. What a good feeling. All of her worries seemed to melt away, wash off of her as she swam a figure 8 around him, speaking out in a soft tone.
"Hah! Tag!"
She spat out as she used a paw to tap him, slowly paddling away.

He laughed, how could he not? Afraid of the water, she was just like a fish, no fear in her! Or if there was it was well hidden.
"Just you wait!" He took in a deep breath and dived down under the water. He use to pretend he was a fish when he was younger and loved to look at all the different coloured fishes but he wasn't doing that today.
He followed her shadow and legs and then swam straight up beneath her in hope of knocking her over, though of course he would also be ready to help her if she got stuck or something.

Tipping over after his under water attack the lioness laughed and spat water at him, pawing until she was tired. Her head bobbed out of the water as she slowly motioned to him that she was ready to go back to shore, her paws paddling forward now.
When she hit the sandy shore she sighed and rolled over onto her side, laughing deeply. This was... so much fun.

He smiled and followed her to shore, glad to see she had at least enjoyed herself.
"Not scared anymore then?" He chuckled as he flopped on the sand and then rolled over showing his now sand covered belly.
"It's pretty awesome that sea. So wild and so much fun!" Chuju chuckled a little to himself. Oh how he adored his home ever so much. He wouldn't leave here for anything.

"Not at all."
She laughed and rolled back, enjoying the cool air as she took the time to relax after her swim. She was thankful he had gotten her out of her shell. Really. With a soft smile and nudge Ico giggled and glanced at him.
"Thanks for hanging out with me today."
