. In my band we make the freshman bring the potluck food to the homecoming game. That way they have to carry food, their uniform, their costume, and anything else(like their instrument) to the game. Its anoying but harmless

I just got back from band camp. So we call it rookie initiation and a senior or junior chooses a first year marcher, and on the last day of 10 hour band camp we line up facing our buddy/mentor and throw whip cream at each other. Then the fire truck comes to the field to spray us down with a hose. It so much fun!!
