"Hey now, I was trying to ignore the wounds." He laughed, only to wince. The morning glory pae was grateful for the slower speed.
"Thank you for coming with me Love." He murmured, looking up as they got nearer to their current destination. "I'll happily cooperate with the healing faes if you'll stay with me.." Bneut chuckled, not meaning it seriously. He was injured and knew what Esmee would say f he didn't cooperate with the fae.

Esmée rolled her eyes. "Even if I didn't stay with you, I would hope that you would go to the faes anyway. Of course, I would never part from you, especially in this state! I'm surprised you can even walk, to be honest." The angelic knit her brows, wondering how long he would be able to keep walking. Too bad the healing house was a bit of a distance away. This would take a while; hoperfully his legs didn't give out before they got there.
She began to walk slightly faster, but not by much because she didn't want to make Bneut's condition any more irritated. She did, however, want to get him there as soon as possible. Hm. "By any chance, are your wings still working, or were those broken too?" If he could fly, maybe they could get there before it this got any worse.

"I didn't mean to go to your home Esmee. My feet had a mind of their own while I was on the way back." He shook his head, "I would have gone if I had control over my feet Dearest." Walking didn't particularly bother him, his legs weren't really broken, just very damaged.
"Dunno.." He murmured, stretching the one furthest from Esmee before stretching the other. "I think I can fly. How far is the healing house from here?" Bneut wasn't sure how long he could keep in the air. Plus there was a small tear he couldn't see. Though he would probably be able to fly for a moment or two before it disabled him from it.

She hadn't meant to make him feel bad. The angelic patted him on the back apologetically to show she hadn't meant to make him feel guilty. Of course, Esmée was glad he had came to her first. She liked to know what was wrong with her Bneut, and she would also like to know where the fool was who caused this so she could show him the taste of revenge. ...After she got Bneut all fixed up, of course.
After a few more moments of walking, Esmée said, "If we're going in a straight line, I don't think we're too far from the Healing House. Give it a shot." She grabbed Fernand off the ground and then lifted herself off of the ground. Usually, when she wanted to transport quickly, she bounced, but Bneut was not capable of that so it was better to fly.
Fernand pointed the direction that the Healing House was in, and the angelic immediately started off in that direction, hoping that Bneut was following. They would get him there fast.

He was more than willing to tell her what had happened to him that had caused such a mess.. After he was better though. Till then she would just have to wait on that one.
"I'll be there in a minute.." He mumbled, stretching his wings, hoping to take off upon flapping. Success, he had achieved lift off. He knew Esmee usually bounced, though Bneut was grateful for her decision to fly rather than bounce or walk.
It wasn't long before he started to loose altitude, quickly. But they made a considerable amount of distance before he had lost his position. "Loosing altitude Emsee." He called, getting a harsh landing. "Ow"

Alarmed, Esmée dipped down to pick him up. Before asking if he was alright with it, Esmée wrapped an arm around Bneut's torso and lifted herself back into the sky, only able to glide but attempting to keep both Fernand and Bneut off the ground. It was rather hard on her, but they only had a little more to go, and the angelic was not having her fiancee walk after that nasty fall. Great, she had made it worse.
Fernand was mildly alarmed to see Esmée attempt to carry more weight. She wasn't capable of that! "Dear Esmée, I do not want you to hurt yourself! Be very careful!"
Esmée was running on adrenaline at this point. The alarm of seeing her fiancee get even more hurt was driving her to carry far more than she could normally handle through her flight. Luckily, it was a short distance. She shortly set both Fernand and Bneut down before collapsing on the ground, breathing heavily. As soon as the adrenaline faded, what she had done caught up with her. Maybe Bneut wasn't the only one who would need to have a check up with the Healing House.
...Or not. She took in a few sharp breaths before insisting that she was alright... even though she had probably pulled both of her shoulders and her wings ached. Oww...

He gasped, mainly from shock as Esmee picked him up. He struggled against it for a moment, realizing that she was running on adrenaline. Bneut gave up the struggle until it was time to land.
He twisted some, making an attempt to catch Esmee before she crumpled. It didn't work so well, though he was pulling her close. "We'll go get healed together Love."
He gave her a soft smile through the injuries he had sustained from the recent crash landing. "Because you're never doing that again." He knew exactly how much she had strained to get him to the healing house, and he wasn't ever letting her hurt herself like that again.

Esmée leaned into Bneut, smiling sheepishly. "Well, if something like you falling from that high up in the air happens again, especially with you being this injured, you bet I'm going to do it again." The angelic wasn't going to accept an argument, kissing her beloved artist's cheek. "Let's get inside."
Fernand glanced at his charge and sighed. "You are quite devoted to that Bneut, aren't you? I suppose I can see what you see in him, Esmée. After all, he got himself this injured simply to get your engagement ring all set up. Of course, you also injured yourself in turn; are you sure that was the best of ideas?"
The intellectual patted her penguin on the head. "Stop worrying." She winked at Fernand, before heading inside to the Healing House, straightening herself out because she did not want to put too much weight on her injured love. Bneut was way worse off than she was! Esmée would simply feel bad for leaning too strongly on him.

"No, you're not. Unless my wings are torn and my legs are broken, you're never doing that again." Bneut wouldn't budge on that one. Sure if they had children one day she could do it for them, but not for the demonic. He was simply far to much to let her conciously carry.
He didn't mind her putting weight on him, it wasn't much. Bneut still had his arm around Esmee's waist, pulling her into the healing house.
"Ladies first." He opened the door for Esmee as he spoke, making sure both his fiancee and her familiar got inside before he made his way in with an arm around her waist once more.

Esmée wouldn't budge either; she could be incredibly stubborn when it came to things she cared about, and Bneut was one of the things she cared about the most. But, nevertheless, this was not the time to argue about what would hopefully not happen in the future. "Thank you, Bneut." She smiled at him, before strolling inside.
Fernand followed the angelic inside, worried that Bneut and Esmée were close to arguing about something like if she would carry him if he was that injured again. When Esmée pushed it aside, Fernand decided to put it aside as well, and he waddled off inside the building after her.
Esmée had never actually been inside the Healing House before. When the angelic finally made it inside, she looked around from side to side and tried to take in the entire building at once. It wasn't all that big, but it certainly looked very comfortable. "See, you should've come here in the first place," teased Esmée, though she truly was glad he had come to her first.

He set the subject aside as well, knowing it was a dangerous topic to pursue further.
Once inside, he smiled lightly at her reaction. He'd been here before, when he'd gone deaf to see if there was a treatment for it. "Hmm.. I think my feet were right to bring me to you." The demonic smirked, moving them forward to get treated.
"Yours are more recent, you first Esmee." He could wait, not that he would. There were more than enough fae in the healing house to heal the two of them and several others at the same time.

Great, now he was insisting she get taken care of first. "No." Her tone was flat, showing she would take no arguments. The angelic tapped her foot, but didn't cross her arms to go with the sight because her arms hurt now, especially her shoulders. "We came here for you. You go." There were enough faes there to take care of both of them, but Esmée didn't have a problem. Sure, she had collapsed on the ground, but she could still walk without pain. All she needed was her shoulders to be popped back in place, probably, and Esmée didn't need these faes to do that.
Fernand watched Esmée carefully before waddling over to Bneut and pushing his leg slightly with his beak. While he couldn't directly communicate with Bneut, he could tell him to head forward by the use of some sort of sign.
The angelic couldn't help snickering at Fernand's signals. She bent down and nodded in approval. "Good Fernand, make sure," she paused, glancing up to Bneut with a smirk, "Bneut gets himself taken care of."

He was already going to a set of free beds when Esmee refused. "I was going to get treated at the same time Esmee." He smiled at her, sitting in the spot he would have been told to anyways. "There's more than enough fae to help us both at the same time." Bneut wasn't trying to get her to get treated at this point, he was just defending his words.
"I'll be good now." Bneut fell silent at that point, letting the healing fae, and Esmee, do as they pleased.

Fernand glanced up to his charge. "Are you alright, Esmée?" asked the penguin familiar, before he decided to settle on the ground. Perhaps one of the healing faes would be nice enough to give him some fish...
The angelic nodded, before swinging one of her shoulders around in an attempt to pop it back into place herself. The girl had always been stubborn, and anything that happened to herself, she insisted she could fix it with the use of science. Esmée eventually heard a, 'pop!' and let out a sigh of relief. Had she fixed it? Well, her one shoulder didn't hurt as much anymore..
Fernand rolled his penguin eyes. "Esmée, as much as you would rather do it yourself, I would advise speaking with the healing faes to make sure you are doing it correctly. After all, your readings are not here."
This was true. Nodding in agreement, she walked over to one of the faes and began swinging her arm again, before asking if that was the right way for her to pop the shoulder back in herself. Admittedly, it was rather amusing that she wouldn't take the help even though it was right in front of her face; it seemed she was more in favor of the pursuit of scientific things.

If he hadn't closed his eyes he probably would have said something to Esmee about her technique for popping her arms back into place. But alas, his eyes were closed and thus were his ears as well.
Bneut waited until his shoulder was tapped before opening his eyes and sitting up. He got stiff during the process, but he figured that would go away soon. "Are you okay Esmee?"
