Professor Rowan smiled as he handed both pokenav and pokedex back to Robert, "Yes, Dave. Pokenavs are extremely useful tools and I highly recommend you buy one if you ever have the chance. There are all sorts of technology out there which will help you on your journey. The most useful, of course, will be your pokedex." Rowan pulled a pokedex from a desk drawer and handed it to Dave. "Thank you," Dave said, grabbing the pokedex and pocketing it, "I'll be sure to make great use of this." Professor Rowan nodded, "Yes. And since I am giving you this pokedex for free, I only request that you gain data on as many pokemon of the Sinnoh region you find possible. It will help me greatly in my lab."

Dave gave a nod of agreement and then turned to Robert, "So, you're from the Hoenn region. What town did you live in?"

Robert takes back the pokedex and pokenav from the Professor. "Thank you professor." He replied before looking to Dave. "I'm from Oldale. My parents run a pokemon orphanage there. That's where I got Lilly here from. Her former trainer thought she was too weak and tossed her aside. Ever since she came to the orphanage, she and I have been practically inseperable." he spoke before standing up, his Ralts sitting upon his shoulder happily. Taking a look at his pokenav, he looked to see where the nearest gym was. "Looks like the closest gym is in Oreburgh. Probably a good two day journey with a stop in Jubilife City." He said before putting away the pokenav in his belt pocket. "Care to come along with me?" He asked.

"Wow," Dave said, happy to see that Ralts was happy with her new trainer, "If there's one thing I just can't stand it people who abuse pokemon. Its terrible." Dave pet Totodile on the head and then looked back at Robert, "Sure, I would be glad to come along. Thanks for the invite!" Dave gave a friendly smile to Robert, bid farewell to Rowan, giving one final thank you, and was ready to head on the road with his new friends.

Dan sat in the Jubilife city pokemon center, poking at his food, he wasn't hungry. All he could think about was his gastly, it was in a bad way after he foolishly tried to battle an admin from team Galactic.

"Your Gastly is going to be fine." Dan jumped to see Nurse Joy standing over him, "You should get him back at about 9:00 tonight."
"Thanks..." Dan was still cursing himself about being so stupid.

"Now Come on, you need to eat your food." Nurse Joy turned away to talk to another trainer across the room. Dan managed to swallow the rest of his meal and started to walk back to his room, he decided he was going to get some rest before dinner and then see if there were any trainers going the same way as him so he could tag along.

Robert looked over to Dave and eventually stopped running when he got close to a small group of trees. "I was raised to respect pokemon as well as train them. It might have merely been a territorial issue or not enough bugs for the starlies to feed on, but I'd prefer to avoid unessicary battles. As for shinx, I prefer to let it decide whether or not to come with me. That's how I do things." he replied simply before sitting himself down. He takes off his backpack and opens up the side pouych. He takes out a potion and begins to apply it to the shinx's injuries. "This will sting a bit, but you'll feel much better afterwards." he spoke in a pelasant tone of voice to the shinx. The little electric mouse gave off a static charge, shocking Robert a bit as it felt a small amount of pain from the spray. However, the shinx quickly stopped its electric defense the instant it felt better. it looked up at Robert and hopped off of his lap, bouncing a bit happily. Robert took out a pokeball and held it out to the shinx. "Would you like to come and travel with me little fella?" He asked.

The shinx looked at the pokeball but quickly bounced away from Robert. However, it wasn't running away. Instead it was poised to fight. Robert smiled and put away the pokeball. "So, you want me to prove myself worthy. Fair enough." Robert spoke as he looked over to his Ralts. "Ok Lilly, let's do this." Lilly hopped down from the rock she was on and got herself ready for combat. He could see the shinx starting to build up electricity with Charge. "Shadow Sneak!" Robert called out. Twisting the darness of shinx's own shadow, Lilly sent pain running through the shinx's body. The shinx replied by charging at Lilly with an empowered Spark attack. "Will-O-Wisp!" Robert called out. Lilly launched several ghostly orbs of fire at shinx, causing burns to envelop its little body. While the powerful electric attack hit, the burns sapped away some of the attack's effectiveness, weakening the physical power behind it. Ralts was hurt but still in good enough health to battle. "Confusion now!" Robert called out while shinx was still at close range. The psychic energies ripped through the pokemon's brain, dazing and confusing it. The shinx made another spark attack, but this one landed not agianst Lilly, but straight into one of the trees. Taking out an empty pokeball, Robert launches it at the heavily injured shinx. The red light enveloped the shinx, sucking it into the pokeball. After three rocks of the pokeball, the red light on the button faded, confirming the capture. Robert picked up the shinx and placed the button into the pokedex to record the information. it was a female shinx from the looks of it. "Welcome to the team Stella." he spoke as he held the pokeball in his hand. He then knelt down and took out two more potions. He treated Lilly's injuries with one. He then released the shinx from the pokeball and treated his newest friend wth it. "Well, once we get to the city, I'll have to restock on potions. I've only got one left." he spoke before placing the used spray cans into his backpack so he could recycle them later.

Robert smiled. "Looks like we both got a new pokemon friend in our team." Robert's eyes then caught sight of a rather pretty looking pink flower that shinx was sniffing and batting at playfully. Robert knelt down and smiled to Shinx. "Do you like that flower?" He asked. Stella gave a nod and a cute chirp of her voice. Robert plucked the flower and fixed it up into Stella's head fur, next to her left ear. "There you go." He spoke before walking towards Jubilife city. Once at the entrance, Robert recalled his shinx to her pokeball, leaving himself with Lilly sitting on his shoulder. "Alright. First stop the pokemon center to give the pokemon some R&R and ourselves some lunch. Then the pokemart for some supplies. Then after that, I need to use the oven at the pokemon center to cook up some pokemon food for Lilly, Stella and your two pokemon. By that time, we can crash at one of the rooms at the pokemon center. By morning, we can head out to Oreburg." Robert explained.

Robert walked into the pokemon center and recalled Lilly to her pokeball. Once Nurse Joy had taken care of Dave's pokemon, he would hand Nurse Joy his pokemon to take care of. With that done, Robert left the building and headed straight for the poke'mart.

Inside Robert shifted through the contents. First he needed to get some pokemon meal paste. This was the one essential to all of his recepies as it provided the basic nutrient needs for all pokemon. Then he went through the berry powders. These were normally used in making pokeblock, but Robert used them in his pokemon food mixtures to add flavor, nutrition and help pokemon keep a shiny and healthy coat. Citris berry powder was a normal favorite for most all pokemon. He took some pamtre berry powder for the murkrow, some cheri berry powder for shinx, colbur berry powder for Lilly, and oran berry powder for Totodile. He also bought some bird seed to add to murkrow's food and some dried oats for the other three. Then he turned in his empty spray bottles and placed a few potions, paralyze heals, burn heals and repels for the next day's trip. he still had four more pokeballs so he wasn't too concerned about running out. He wasn't exactly looking to capture every pokemon there was. Finally he added three more food bowls and three more food canisters to his shopping cart.

Once he had finished his shopping and paid for everything, Robert headed back to the pokemon center. After securing a room, Robert then made his way to the kitchen in order to start whipping up the pokemon food. Each of the ingreadients were carefully measured and mixed. When all of the ingreadients in each bowl had even consistancy, he began forming the pellets and placing them on four different trays before popping them into the oven. After only fifteen minutes, the pellets would be done, each the size of a quarter and as thick as his finger. it would take about twenty more minutes for them to all cool off. Using a spatula, he scooped up the pellets and poured them into each specific container. He labeled each one with a color sticker: yellow for Stella, Pink for Lilly, blue for Totodile and for Murkrow, a black sticker and a sky blue sticker.

~~The Start~~

"Eh...I think we're lost." A deep blue haired man stated, walking along with a book bag with a pokemon insignia on it and two pokeballs hanging from his hid. By his side was none other than his first and trusted partner pikachu. "Pika pika pi, pikachu ((I say we're on the right path, your the one who got us lost))." A bright yellow pokemon with a scarf handing from it's neck stated, probably from it being hand made by Tamaki's older brother. Tamaki simply turned his head as he continued to move forward. "Don't give me that, I know exactly where we are going, just need to figure out how to get there." The blue haired boy obviously had no idea where they were, pikachu simply huffed out some air, sighing at, it's master inability to tell where they were. "Pika Pi pikachu, pika pi pika pikachu((If you had simply listened to me, we should have taken a right back at the waterfall but no you had to do it your way))" The pikachu again huffed, looking up at it's master. Tamaki paid no mind to the yellow being and simply kept on walking forward into the unknown, a man said that if they kept going forward they'd come into contact with some type of large city. Tamaki believed him and kept moving as he had said they were supposed to do. Looking forward Tamaki noticed a large hill as they were coming out of the forested area. Raion((Pikachu)) hopped off Tamaki's shoulder before running forward, towards the hill. It stopped when it came to the top and looked outward, there it was. Tamaki followed after him smiling "Hahaha, I knew the city was here." Tamaki was of course talking about Jubilife city, this would be fun.
