"Oh boy! I really am losing it lately. If you want to hold onto her, you can, just be careful not to lose her. And um.. sure. You can walk me home. I'd like that." It was hard to believe that Ren was younger than Zoe. He must have really nice parents.

He smirked. "Well, I think if you're so out of it these days your little dollie might have more luck getting back home in my hands than in yours." He sighed. "Well, at any rate, I just don't want you to loose it again."

Zoe laughed. "Haha, yeah. She probably would. I don't want to lose her again either." She could feel her face slowly turning red at the thought of how many times she had lost her doll in front of Ren. It didn't help the fact that he was younger than she was, and yet he seemed to be more responsible.

Ren smirked. "Well, at any rate, are we going to get ice cream or what? I hope there's not an expiration date on that offer! Cause now I really want some chocolate icecream. Anyway, that means I can have dessert again tonight! hah."

"Oh.There's no experation date. We can go another time if your parents are going to be upset." Zoe had forgotten the fact that Ren still had parents and such.

"Hum? Nah, I don't really care. 'slong as I'm home by dinner time I'm good. My dad get's rather upset if I skip out on it. Course, my mom's the real one to worry about pissing off... Eh, well, I still have time. So, icecream, right?" He glanced at his watch. Well, he'd be cutting it close, but he really didn't care all that much.

"Alright then. Let's go then. I don't want you to miss dinner and get in trouble!" Zoe started walking over towards the ice cream cart that was set up in the park. "You order first, Ren!"

dered himself his desired chocolate icecream and waited for Zoe to order her own icecream. When she was finnished, he took a bite of his dessert and sighed. "Well, I suppose I should start heading home." He was surprised to find himself dissapointed at that. He had really enjoyed himself in the short time he had spent with her. "Well, thanks for the icecream. Maybe we'll... see eachother around?"

Zoe took a minute to lick her chocolate ice cream that was starting to melt. "I'd love to see you around. You're actually the first person that's actually been kind of like my friend. We should definitely hang out again, and I'll try to keep a better hold on my doll." Zoe couldn't help but feel a bit sad at the thought of her new friend going home. Although he did have parents. I should probably get home soon too.. Zoe thought.

He smiled and handed the doll back to her. "Well, that's good. I guess I'll be seeing you around then." He took off and went on home.
The next day after school he came back to the park, even though he rarely went to the same place two days in a row. "Hm... I wonder if she'll be here again."

Zoe strolled through the park path, this time keeping a good hold on her doll, so as not to lose it again, and she found herself looking for Ren, when she saw him on the same bench as the day before. She waved to him. "Hey Ren!"

"It's pretty good. I haven't lost my doll since then. How about you? You didn't get in trouble, did you?" Zoe suddenly became a bit concerned with what had happened to Ren once he left. She really hoped he was still allowed to hang out with her.

He blinked, thinking about the question. "In trouble? Nah. I was on time. Well, barely. But that's better than what usually happens so they didn't really care." He smirked. "Besides, It's not like I can't handle a punishment or two. Not if it were some something worth while." He felt smug for some reason. Happy that she had been worried about him. He had to remind himself that she was older, that he probably wouldnt' stand a chance.

"Well, that's good! I was worried that I might have gotten you into trouble. I like hanging around you. You're fun!" Zoe let out a giggle, and then blushed as she realized what she had said.
