Aphismet was still chuckling softly as Namini took her seat with that quiet thank you, looking around as though trying to find something else to focus on. Her question about Rivener brought a frown to Aphi's face as he realized that he hadn't been paying the Raevans any attention, which could be a BIG mistake in Riv's case... But no, Rivener seemed to have taken a shine to Prajna. Offering one of his rings like that.
But... the way Rivener's wings were flaring, and that glint in the ruby eyes...?
Rivener watched very closely. His mind was analyzing any movement for a hint of threat, ready to sting this uppity snack if it tried anything. But when Prajna DID move, Rivener instantly knew what was going to happen, and it was most certainly NOT a threat.
"Mnh!" the Scorpion moaned softly into the kiss, the corners of his lips tugging up in a pleased smile as he returned the kiss in full. It felt electric, energy flowing from Prajna's lips to his own, and it tasted delicious! Stinger-wings vibrated with contentment, and the glowing rune shone brighter than ever, pulling sustenance from this delicious, satisfying meal.
When the lips finally parted, Rivener grinned with all the sultry intent it could muster, nearly purring in the back of his throat, ruby eyes half-lidded with absolutely seductive intent. "Mmmmmmh, yeeees, very very tasty Praaaajna. More now?" Riv asked with a honey-coated chuckle before he lunged forward and pressed his lips to Praj's again, wrapping both arms around the frei to trap it there.
"RIVENER!" Aphismet finally screamed, after being stunned in blushing silence just as Namini had been at first. "STOP THAT!!!" The chef was on his feet at once, gripping the Scorpion's arms and trying to pry them off the poor Frei.

In unison with Aphismet, Namini jumped to her feet and let out a hesitant cry, "Pr-PRAJNA!"
She knew that there was no way this entire situation was created by Rivener, oh no, she adored Prajna, but that didn't mean she was blind to its crazy antics and mischief. Stumbling over herself and her embarrassment, Namini finally reached her charge just as Aphismet had retrieved his and was surprised to find Prajna swaying softly into her arms. Something wasn't right. Its rune was flickering almost lifelessly now.. Namini's brow furrowed concernedly as she looked up pitifully at Aphismet for help.
"Mr..Aphismet..Why is Prajna..Why is Prajna so weak?" she mewed as the Frei felt a slight drowsiness tug at its eyelids. Why was it suddenly so sleepy? No matter, that was unimportant. Prajna took a moment to recollect the last few seconds: The ring. The kiss. Rivener's approval. The second ki-- The SECOND kiss?! Prajna's eyes snapped open as it struggled to bring itself to an appropriately intimidating float level once again, its blue eyes locked onto Rivener's ruby ones.
"No! NO more! Rivener took two! That's not FAIR. Two of these! then," the Frei was nearly screaming as it raised its ring finger and pointed angrily at the silver ring now adorning it. Rivener had gotten more than Prajna did. If he wanted another kiss, it was all good and dandy, just as long as Prajna got another ring.
Namini stared at the ring curiously before mentally facepalming herself. Of course! They had been shopping for accessories and Rivener was just gleaming with them. The teen let out a soft groan as she tried to pull Prajna back. How could she have been so stupid?

Aphismet nearly got himself stung as he yanked Rivener apart from poor Prajna, the Scorpion reacting aggressively to being pulled away from his meal. Furious red eyes snapped to Aphi and softened immediately into a mere glower, shrugging the man off and crossing his arms, keeping his distance from the other Raevan for now. Satisfied, Rivener licked at his lips, glancing at his snack. That was very tasty. He was full now, and it was the first time he'd felt this way in the middle of the day.
Aphismet blinked over at Namini as she asked why her Raevan would be feeling so weak. Dark eyes took in the frei's appearance: sleepy, faint rune... It looked food-deprived or something! How odd! Turning to the Scorpion, thinking it HAD to have something to do with him, Aphismet frowned. "Rivener? Why's Prajna weak?"
"I dunno," Riv lied smoothly, shrugging his shoulders.
Prajna spoke up then, summoning everyone's attention with its demands, motioning to the ring it had received and stating that it required a second one as payment. Rivener laughed out loud. "I suppose so." After all, no one eats take-out food for free. The Scorpion glanced at his hands, picking a second ring that was relatively small and would fit on Prajna's small hands. Under Aphismet's very watchful eye the Sigel floated forward and placed the thing in Prajna's hand, grinning like a wolf watching a sheep. "Fair, now. Hm?"
Perhaps Rivener was in a good mood, amused to no end. Next time he wouldn't be giving his own things away in exchange for a taste. Chuckling maliciously, the Scorpion floated back to Aphismet's side.
"Maaaybe we should go home now," the chef said with a hint of disapproval, lifting an eyebrow at Rivener.
"Not done spending my money," the Scorpion reminded him, not tearing his eyes away from the tasty Raevan.
"We'll come back another time! Sorry Namini, we should go. And, er, Prajna just looks hungry, you should feed him... her... Err, Prajna should eat."

Namini was shocked by how quiet and how pleased Prajna had become when Rivener floated carefully over and placed yet another ring in its hands. Had these two been..bargaining? A kiss was worth a ring?! Namini felt her cheeks burn once again as she shot her charge a disapproving stare, only to find the Frei smiling, satisfied in its dealings. Prajna's delicate face was just so sweet, Namini couldn't help but relieve a defeated sigh. Every time she took her Frei out, it seemed the day would end with some kind of lecture on how to behave properly. Maybe it had something to do with letting it watch TV all the time..
"I think by taking our separate ways it would be best," Namini agreed as she attempted to steady Prajna once again, though the Frei broke away from her and slipped the ring onto its right thumb. Prajna laughed sheepishly but seemed genuinely happy, despite its temper tantrum. It had gotten two new beautiful accessories for free! How splendid! The brunette bowed graciously to Aphismet and then shot Rivener a cautious glance as she took Prajna's hand.
"Well, it was a pleasure meeting you Mr. Aphismet..Rivener. I think it's time that, yes, we should go grab something to eat. Prajna..say goodbye," Namini cooed as she tucked some stray hairs behind her ear. Now that she thought about it..what did Prajna eat? It always seemed fine whenever she returned home, Prajna had always told her it was full..What did Prajna eat??
Prajna's eyes, half-lidded, fell upon Rivener's smirking face and the Frei let out another lighthearted chuckle, giving away to how weak it truly was. The tingling pain remained in its fingertips but the warmness of Rivener's lips remained against its own. Today had truly been an interesting day..
"Goodbye Rivener" Prajna sang as it turned and began floating off with Namini who offered Aphismet another polite wave.

Rivener grinned in a very predatory way as he waved back to Prajna, calling in a falsely-sing-song voice: "Bye Praaaajna!" The Scorpion rumbled low in his throat, laughing in a way that wasn't so much amused as it was self-satisfied.
Aphismet was NOT amused. He took the packages and began walking towards home, intent on being quiet the whole way but startled to hear Rivener's voice, thoughtful and dark beside him.
"You know how you said once that popcorn was fun? ...Prajna's like that."
"Hunh?"
